As soon as Malc was gone and the room clear, Rai launched into a quick and concise update on the movements they had discovered on the Lowlanders and the profiles of some potential worries. It wasn't time for them to attack back, but the Heart wanted to keep the Clubs well apprised of the situation, despite the fact that they weren't going to do anything about it yet.
When the sparrow returned with coffee and refreshments, the stallion switched easily back to a calm and collected discussion about the profits coming in from Ader's store and the fact that the fire-mouse could easily open another one now if he so desired.
Rai finished his cup and gave a friendly salute to his friend. He had a long journey home and was ready to get on the road. He made polite good-byes of both men and left the Queen of Clubs to ponder all that had been said.
