“Hm…I’m not sure about that,” Darcy laughed roguishly. He knew that he was very young and probably shouldn’t be roaming through the city streets alone; goodness knows he wasn’t macho enough to protect himself against all those nasty perpetrators. Or something along that vein. Every so often he met a few rather odd individuals slinking through the streets at night, but they were easy to avoid. The majority were too drunk or high (or both, he supposed) to do anything more than stumble a few steps.
The Villa smiled broadly, his tail wagging lazily behind him. “That sounds like a real adventure,” he exclaimed. “I’ve never gotten to see anything resembling that.” In fact he had never even seen a guard, but it didn’t surprise him that they were around.
He let Kamaria and her grandmother bicker, smirking to himself. They treaded down the hill, coming face to face with the impressive house. It was very much a grand, plantation-styled manor; even the side entrance they were approaching was haughty.
“Please follow me,” Darcy said gallantly, leading them up towards the double-doors. They opened easily and he beckoned them inside.

Kamaria would have airily invited Darcy along with her and Elektra next time he was in the Capital, but with her grandmother's very unhappy expression now, it seemed unwise to say anything just yet.
Fortunately, the sight of Darcy's house was enough to distract the relatives, at least briefly, from Kami's certain punishment for wandering through dangerous areas of the Capital without a proper escort.
"Wowee!" the young fox exclaimed cheerfully. "You weren't kidding! This is huge compared to our house!" She glanced at her grandmother and quickly appended. "Though there's a lot less space in the City, so of course our place is smaller." Still, trying to make amends with Haret didn't stop her from commenting cheerfully on the wealth apparent here. "How many rooms do you have? Do you ever get lost?"
Haret didn't try to stave the girl's flow of questions; the house was impressive, but she was now more concerned with her granddaughter's activities.
(( Sorry for the delay, Travy!! ^^;;;;;; Gomen, gomen! ))

Darcy smirked; it certainly was a pretty little sunroom they had entered, with yellow striped wallpaper and long windows allowing for an expansive view of the surrounding park. It was one of the many rooms that were hardly used, and as a result there was very little furniture, just a large family portrait that was done a few years ago, when he and his sisters had been very young. His mother had decreed her likeness unflattering, and thus it was hung here.
He laughed with bemusement at her obvious awe. How long had the house been in his family? Or had it been one of his relatives who had built it? No doubt he’d hear the story several more times before he was old enough to finally leave forever. “Of course,” he said, thinking of the squalid apartments he had seen during his last adventure in the Capital. He was sure they didn’t live in a place quite so horrible.
“I don’t know for sure…definitely more than thirty,” he answered thoughtfully. “And that’s not including rooms for the servants, but those are in a nearby guest house,” the Spade added. “No. I don’t spend a lot of time here,” he said briskly. “And when I am here I usually stick to my own quarters.”
ooc: Not a problem at all. ^__^ <33

Tavesty and Sera both receive 2 tokens each, to be redeemed in Ashwin's Shoppe. This will automatically be added to your recorded totals in the shoppe. Congratulations, and keep up the good RP!
