Bastian laughed, his shoulders shaking, the laugh deep and baratone. "Shesa feisty wan ta be sure." he said in responce to her lack of words for Kaya. He knew the words that ran through her mind, she had no need to actually speak them aloud. So many times people had called him crazy...or wondered how they could even get along. Bastian didn't rightly know...all he knew is that he hatched her and cared for her with his laid back way of dealing with things all her life...and somehow they had forged a bond that Bastian had the inkling was unbreakable. But he couldn't even be sure of that...
What else was there to do? He looked around a bit at the small village where he lived and looked back to her with a toothy smile. "Dis tawn ih lazee. Nat much ta be doin, doe I-yah fava swimming at da beech sumtim." another puff, and he looked at his decreasing joint. He exhaled, again curtious to Liv's needs. "Mi gwan kill dis...den I-yah cun take you dere?"
