The doe reached out to help stabilize the drozy hamster as he shifted. "Don't move about too much, you'll be dizzy for another few moments." Once he appeared a bit more rational, Ophelia offered a smile that was somewhere between wry and reassuring. "I'm afraid spider genetics are not the most precise for me to work with... There are always a few unexpected additions... Unintentional, I assure you, but these things do happen." It was part of the contract after all.
After she had said her usual bit, Ophelia sat back and waited.
From her experience, it would take Jarvis a few moments to get his head in order enough to continue talking and Ophelia didn't want to bombard him with comments and explanations until she was sure the first one set in. Then they could discuss alternate options if he wanted to. Slowly the doe pulled back, sitting in the work chair near the table while she waited.

He took her advise and stayed still for awhile, trying to let that woozy, lightheaded feeling pass before he tried to look at what he thought he'd seen attached to him. Could things like that really just... sprout out of nowhere or had she attached them to him herself? It'd be rude to outright ask the doe, especially since she'd seemed so kind thus far .... he'd just check this out with a mirror and maybe a magnifying glass.... there would have to be a sign of stitching somewhere if she had specifically done this to him as part of her own experimental fancy. Then again... how would he be able to control them if she'd done so? Ugh ... thinking kinda hurt in a fuzzy state, so he closed his eyes for a little while longer.
His notched ear flicked forward, toward her, and he listened, but nothing else. Well, that was quite obvious proof that something bizarre had happened to him ... .wasn't it? He opened his eyes again slowly and turned his head to peer at the.... almost frightening looking additions. Really, they were like something you heard about in one of those silly stories meant to scare children and the weak minded. He concentrated and tried to move one, but he hadn't quite mastered these.... things quite yet and thus they all at least twitched with his effort. How ... disturbing.
But ... legs?
He hadn't even thought it was possible to sprout new limbs like these... much less four.

Ophelia was glad he was taking it slow. Most people tended to spazz a little when met with the unknown and there there was all sorts of troublesome reactions and falling off tables. It was nice when you had a rational sort, however unhappy they may be with the current situation.
"Ah, yes... Well." Ophelia briefly stuck her tongue out, displaying the forked muscle with a serpentine flick. While the tail had been a decided addition -- she was quite fond of them -- the tongue had been a genetic mutation caused by a bit of novice experimentation. At the time, reptilian genetics had been just as alien to her as Insect genetics were now. "I'm rather fond of it myself, but I can understand that concern... Your additions are a bit more attention-grabbing. If they become too much of a hassle, I know people who could remove them...?"
She'd gotten asked that enough in her time to have finally taken the hint to find some good cosmetic Corvies for the more squeamish people who attempted her experiments.

He slowly turned his attention from his new limbs and back to the doe, not quite sure what ot think of this whole situation. he'd known there were risks, knew that strange things could happen .. .but still, one never really excepted something quite as .... out there as suddenly sprouting four extra limbs and becoming a bit more like the creature you wanted hints of then you'd originally liked. this was just.... weird. There just... wasn't a word strong enough to describe the level of weird this was either. would he be able to keep his job? Hearts were a tricky bunch when it came to things like that, especially nobles...
His notched ear flicked briefly when she flicked out her tongue. Well, that wasn't quite on the same level of bizarre as his legs were, really. He assumed she had a tongue to begin with... but he was going to, again, refrain from saying anything so he wouldn't come off as rude and unappreciated.
However, the thought of having them removed was a unexpectedly disconcerting and his ears flipped back to reflect that thought. Something about having a limb, new or not, hacked off was just.... extremely disturbing.
I'm ... not ... sure ...

It wasn't the same, no, but it was similar on the level of unexpected mutations that arose out of genetic manipulation. Things like that were expected to happen, forewarned to happen... and he'd chose a tricky species.
Ophelia just hoped he wouldn't be too put off...
She waited for him to register through everything she'd offered with quiet patience, curious to see his reaction. "It is your decision, of course..." The doe smiled thoughtfully, watching him. He seemed hesitant but... "If nothing else, I could give you the names and addresses and you can decide on your own time what you would like to do with them?" With that Ophelia stood, moving to fetch something from a nearby cabinet.
Now that he was up and moving around, Ophelia could pump some liquids and vitamins into him and make sure he was sound enough to warrant being released.
