Sabien had an idea, it was a rare thing to happen especially since this seemed like a really GOOD idea. People didn't seem to like having him around all that much, and he had a feeling it was because he looked funny. His mother had taken away his ears quite some time ago, and because he could still hear he didn't think it was a big deal. But it made him look funny, he knew what kind of animal he was and they didn't look like him. People would probably like him if he looked normal, pretty. Yes, prettyness was important to people, even nice people. So here he was, wandering aimlessly in Corvistowne and looking as lost as he felt. He knew people here made amazing things happen, but he didn't know who could help him. He didn't actually know anyone here, and he was too afraid to ask around because he'd heard that sometimes people could have unexpected things happen to them that weren't nice... He just needed to find someone honest, who could help him get his ears back. It didn't sound That difficult, well, maybe it did. But he was hopeful. He didn't like living alone on the streets anymore, he wanted someone to think he was special and pretty and worth having. Unusually optimistic, his life was finally starting to get at him, he had never complained until now, he knew he was lucky to be living somewhere where people didn't outright hate him, even if they didn't really Like him.

Inali moved like a viper ready to stirke. She had been in a bad temper for quite some time. She didn't get anywhere in the court of hearts nor did she ever find the Grey fox that she had been hunting for the past ten years... she knew that from the last information that she had recived from the people that informed her that he was located here somewhere in the Corvistowne Region, when she happend to come across the town that the suporter of her cause had mentioned that he was see in. For some reason she didn't know that the person that lead her here was a suporter of the infamous Grey. It had been like a wild goose chase for the past nine years. SHe had only had him cornered once and that was enough to tip him off that he shouldn't be found by this Deputy Sheriff from the Yarrow Gardens. She was moving along the allyways of the town when she happend to see something move from the corner of her eye. She quickly turned to see a Yarrow like her just mopping around. "Hey you there." she said not knowing that he was either male or an Ace for that matter. "You wouldn't happen to know where there would be a great bar around here would you?" she said in a casual tone... well the best one that someone could muster in a dark desertet allyway. She silently wondred to herself why a Female Yarrow fox was missing her ears...

The sound of a voice alerted him and he perked instantly, turning towards the sound. It was then that he paled considerably, remembering Livide's warning about Yarrow females other than her and why it was that he shouldn't approach them. Bad bad things were going to happen to him if he wasn't careful, would this never end? He sulked down a bit further submissively and shook his head. Maybe she was having the same confusion the Yarrow mouse had had and thought he was a woman? So long as he didn't talk and she didn't see his rank, she probably wouldn't beat him up.
His eyes flicked back and forth rapidly, waiting for her to pass on by since he was of no help whatsoever. Why anyone would come here to go to a bar, he had no idea. Getting intoxicated around the people who lived here didn't seem like the Best idea... though it probably meant there was a bar if the inhabitants were as intelligent as they claimed to be. Talk about easy prey. But not all of them were supposed to be bad or crazy or weird, that's why he was here in the first place. He just wanted some help and now here he was, facing the very real possibility of losing more pieces.
She was pretty though, so she probably had better things to do even though it seemed like she was angry at someone or something. So long as it wasn't him, he didn't care. He started to try and creep away in the other direction, completely unsure of what to do or where to go, but only that he should probably find a place to lie low before she decided she wanted company or something. Women seemed to do that a lot.

Inali took the Yarrows actions into account. It would for one seem like she was mute as well... which was too bad... she wouldn't have minded to have someoen to chat to even for a little bit. She had been away from the Gardens for quite some time searching high and low for this criminal.
When the Yarrow started to edge away did she take it for something compleatly diffrent. She quickly appraised the situation and watched her intently. As if waiting for her to do something offencivly. It was also weird that she would be attempting to hid her rank. It was compleatly obvious the way she moved that it was deliberat.
Her training in being a Sheriff for the Yarrow Gardens had made her more alert than the avrage Joe. And it didn't help that she was on end with this chase either.
"What is the matter, You look so timmid." she said in her casual blunt way. She wondred if she could write or at least tell her what was the matter. Why she looked as if she would bolt at any moment.

Uh oh. He knew this was going to happen, and still he felt completely lost as to what to do. He stopped slinking away just long enough that he knew his chance was gone. What did he say? He couldn't speak. If only he knew that she was under the impression that he was mute, he would have considered it a great idea and continued to go along with it purposefully, but it was just fear that kept him from revealing his true gender.
He turned towards her at last, realizing his mistake as his rank was bared for her to see. Oh well, best to just accept his fate. He lowered his head and stared at the ground, fear making his eyes brighter and shinier than they should have been. He remembered everything Livide had warned him about, all the bad bad things Yarrow girls would like to do to him, just because they could. And how there was little he could do if the situation were to come about, unfortunately.
He'd always known it was a possibility, but he thought if he didn't go home he'd be okay. Her vocie sounded so nice, he wished he could keep making her want to be nice, but now she would probably laugh at him or hurt him, or did she think he was pretty? No, he wasn't pretty, she wouldn't be very happy about that, and his rank would be even worse. He should say something, but there was nothing to explain, no way to really make her change her mind.

Well if Inali could read minds then she would have laid it all out fo rhim. She had yet figured out that he was a male and still thought that all the fuss about male Yarrow to be just made up stories by her parents and friends. Something that was talked about around the table when everyone was getting something to drink or just telling of tales about what they would do if they ever saw one.
Inali saw that she was an ace and didn't change anything about herself. She didn't show any other emotion nor anything that would betray her. She was aginst those that would abuse aces and thought that they all should live free and do as they wished... just outside the veiw of those that hated them. She herself didn't mind the company of an ace. Though it did give her some ideas why as to the yarrow being so timmid and bashfull.
She spoke up looking at her bowed head as she approached.
"Did you lose your master or are you a free roming ace... it would give you good reason as to why your here and not back at the Gardens." then she paused as she was thinking about how he would respond if she was mute. "Nod if your lost and shake your head if your just wondering about... because in either case I may just be able to help you out if you wouldn't mind." she said with the best smile she could muster... which was slightly hard with her thoughts always ridding on the Grey Fox.
"You don't have to worry, I'm a Yarrow Garden Deputy Sheriff. So your still under my protection no matter where you go." she said as she gave her a slight nudge with her nose as to cheer her up some.

(OOC: It said open. <3 Hope you don't mind me jumping in. Thought I would throw in my bratty Corvie Fairy Boy.)Parsley enjoyed putting his nose where it didn't belong. He hadn't spent long in "his region." He just knew it was filled with smart people, most of which could appreciate him. The fairy squirrel watched from his perch in a tree. It was strange to watch. Why was she talking to an Ace like it was a person? He had never seen an Ace act like a person before, so why was she talking to it like it could talk back. His ears twitched furiously when he heard the term "Sheriff." He wasn't fond of Yarrows since his incident in the capital. How could he like women who simply snapped at you because of something that you could never change. That was like him being angry at someone for having toes. It shouldn't be a crime to be a man. "What's a cop doing here?" He voiced as he remained put in the shadows. "And why are you talking to an Ace like it's a person? If it was a wandering Ace, it would have attacked you by now."Overall Parsley had a painfully feminine appearance, his voice wasn't all that deep either. If he tried he could be a butch woman. However, he wasn't trying so he just came off as an annoyed girlie voiced kid. "I wonder... if Rosemary would like an Ace like that for a pet." He muttered to himself. Finders keepers, right?

The girl was approaching, that's it, it was all over now. Sabien didn't even look up to see the expression on her face, didn't want to let her see the fear in his. This wasn't supposed to happen! But then she talked and... she was still being nice. He dared a glance up and opened his mouth as if to speak... free roaming ace? For being an ace, he didn't entirely understand the rules about being 'owned' or anything, even though he wanted someone to want him, he didn't know that his kind were usually kept as pets and little else.
She continued on, giving him hope suddenly. Why would he be back at the Gardens? Maybe she didn't know what they did to boys! No, she must have if she was from the gardens. But she was being nice while Sabien was being quiet, and the options she gave him seemed to imply that she wanted him to communicate with nods. That he could do! He shook his head back and forth slowly, he wasn't Really wandering... he wanted someone who could make him pretty. One paw swept over his head sadly as he looked at her, communicating what should have been there.
A... Yarrow Garden Deputy Sheriff? Whatever that was, it sounded very important, and she wanted to... protect him? That sounded... really promising, but strange. She was supposed to hurt him, not help him. The nudge made him smile, reminded him of Anatolius, he hadn't seen him in a long time, didn't like that seeing him in such poor condtion made the handsome canine sad. The fox couldn't help but lean into the nudge for a moment, tail thudding against the ground happily. It had been so long since anyone had touched him at all.
He cocked his head, waiting for her to make a decision. Whatever they did would be her call, he could try to find a way to become pretty later, she seemed to like him enough as it was so he'd be happy until she went away.

Inali didn't mind having the roming Ace lean into the nudge. It always made her feel better when someone was more acceptiable than others. She had been the product of hate for a long time. The feeling between the two was quite mutual.
Before she could say something when she moved away did someone else pipe into the conversation that she had expected that she was alone in. She hated to be interupted let alone told to.
It puturbed her that she was being talked down to. So she thought that she would have to retrify the problem as soon or before anything could become worse.
"Like any good cop I came here for a reasone of my own, and being so it dosn't concern you Corvy." she said with a slight snide at him... he was after all a male.
She gave him an appraised look and then turned back ot the ace... she hated to see them taken away so aginst there will... and the mute ace was after all a Yarrow... so she did fall in her protective care.
She looked away from the No-eared fox and back up into the tress where she heard the voice emitt from. "I'm sorry to disipoint you or Rosemary, but this Yarrow is under my care, as Deputy Sheriff of the Yarrow Gardens." she said with a glare, she wasn't going to lose this battle. She was here for something and now she was going to do something else that didn't pretain to the real reason as why she was here.
As in all Yarrows, she was stead fast in what she belived in, and one of those things was the protection of Aces, every seince she came across that one back in the Yarrow Gardens... what was her name? Genger... yes.
She looked back to the Fox turning her back to the vermin in the tree as if in mock jester that she didn'[t care for his presence. "Are you ready to go... it would be nice for you not to spend another night on the streets."

[[Nevermind, I is retaaarded XD]]
Sabien was torn when he finally listened to what the voice had said. That was a- oh!! That was one of THEM, one that could make him /pretty/. He now didn't know what to do, he had to find a way to get the Corvie to see what he wanted, the nice lady wanted to take him away off the streets, which was good, but she didn't seem to like the nice male who might be able to help him which was bad. But he didn't want to choose, he wasn't allowed to choose. The male didn't seem to think he was worth talking to anyway... he probably wouldn't care...
"I want ears. To be pretty. So people will like me." He uttered slowly, his voice just as sweet and feminine as that of the pretty winged male. He knew the sherriff would probably be mad that he hadn't spoken before, but... he didn't know how to explain it. Maybe if one hated him now the other would take him instead? He didn't know what he wanted more, to accomplish his goal or just to have someone like him, for whatever reason. He could probably be quiet forever, and he knew he looked enough like a girl to please if that's what was wanted.
He didn't like that they didn't get along though, it looked like maybe she didn't like the male because he was... well... male? Then she would have not liked him in the end too, anyway. The male seemed to say that somebody might like him? Ooooh Rosemary was a pretty name, it sounded like a nice name for a nice person maybe? But he'd want to get something first to be pretty so they would like him more. But all of these things he didn't voice, he'd said enough. If that didn't earn him a beating then maybe he'd venture more information.
