(( OOC: XD well that was just bad timing for me. <3 Magic repost. ))
"Bite me bitch, You're in Corvistowne. You have no power here." Parsley said flatly, glaring down at the woman from the safety of the tree. "Don't run around like you own the place. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you can talk down to every living being that's not. Get off your high horse."
And then the Ace talked. The squirrel raised an eyebrow. Okay.
Parsley jumped out of the tree and glided down in a spiral. He landed on the ground behind the Ace and the other Yarrow.
"And a six should at least respect the rank of others. Gender or not. For all you know I could be a member of a high ranking noble family." Parsley said as he eyed the woman. Angry. Not as pretty as most other Yarrows. He turned back to the Ace.
"Sorry Ace. I'm not a chemical Corvie but.... I can find one. This is Corvistowne. There are a lot of chemicals in the shops around here."

Inali wasn't rebuffed by his words, she had heard simular things all the time. She really didn't care what he had to say, the Yarrow was under her protection thus claimed before he even butted in.
Though when the Fox spoke did she turn her head in his direction... well that was weird, she had thought that there where no such things as a male Yarrow... she didn't know what to say and was lost in her own little world of possiabilities, which she didn't see the squarl spiral down to the rear of the two. When she noticed the disiperance of the vermin in the tree did she turn around to look at the King.
King... now that was a good rank, she hadn't noticed it before and knew that she had to give him some respect... though this matter was already solved, the Yarrow was under her protection, there was many out there that would abuse these poor creatures and she wasn't going to just let it slide by while she was here.
"And if your a high noble you would have better maners than that, king. Though in this manner I would say that the Ace has already been claimed." she said with a defiant, yet respectful tone. More or less like a snide. She knew though that this male was quite rare indead, and for some reason she couldn't figure out why he tought that he wasn't pretty.
She ignored his next comment and looked to the Male Fox, "Why do you not think that you are pretty?" she asked... she was the one that started to get timmid. She didn't know how to approach this situation. She was rasied to know that males where useless, and yet protect the Yarrow citizins... and here she was confused at what she should do. Should she kill him for being an abomination? Or just... figure out who he is... and how he had hidden for all this time.
She looked at the king in a diffrent veiw... she could just leave the ace to this man... yet she wouldn't know what he would do to him. She had heard of bad things that happend to Aces... let alone one that was rather rare. The thought occured to her,
She gave a smile to the Fox before continuing. "You don't know how extreamly beautiful you are... and how rare you are. I don't know who this person here is, yet... I would have to say that I know that I atleast have good intentions for your future, rather than just be a slave to those that Own your very existance. As I have said... I'm a Yarrow Deputy, I'm here to protect, not to enslave." she said shooting the king with a glare.

He flattened himself a bit lower when the attention turned to him and what he had said. His eyes showed instant interest when the Corvie spoke, he was sad at first to know this one couldn't help him, but he knew who could! And he'd said.. sorry? Why was he sorry? The ace was used to being dissapointed, even the mere prospect that the trip could work out was more than he ever dared to dream of out loud. "You could? You do? I don't know anything around here..." He admitted bashfully, making it painfully obvious how not thought through his plan was.
He turned his head to listen as the snide insults were slung back and forth, entirely not understanding the purpose behind it or what to do to make the situation better. He didn't even realize that he'd started it all somehow, otherwise he'd have apologized in a heartbeat. He couldn't tell who was winning, mostly because he didn't know how to win an argument or ego-war, having always been too submissive to get into either, but it was kind of interesting to listen to.
When the female turned her attention back to him, he wondered if she realized he was a male yet or not. It didn't seem like it, this was probably a good thing. "I have no ears. They were ripped off when I was little. I could be prettier with them back." It was simple and obvious to him, if aces were owned then he'd probably only get someone nice to own him if he was pretty. Why would anyone nice want him when they could have something better to look at? He knew he wasn't a great conversationalist, he'd always gotten by on looks and pity.
When she continued on, he seemed to jump at the concept of being 'rare'. So did she know then? That was really the only rare or special thing about him, that he hadn't been killed at birth like most of the other males. "Oh I'm not rare or beautiful really. But it's very nice of you to say that. You don't need to do anything for me, I'm not worth an argument. You'd probably like each other if it wasn't for me." He was pretty smart for an ace, although a bit down on himself lately, he'd spent so much time observing people that he could actually contribute fairly useful bits to conversations. Though he couldn't really carry them for long unless he just asked questions about other people.
Other people were interesting. Like these two. They were both very nice, he didn't know why nice people didn't get along together. Maybe that meant he wasn't a nice person, as they were both being nice to him? It was confusing.

Fine. He could play the game of being polite. Sure. He rolled his eyes at the woman. Yeah, okay. Aces were rare. He'd never heard one talk before but he was outside the Woods. He didn't know much about the world around him, he just knew that the Yarrow woman was annoying and he was a bit to interested in the Ace to let things go.
"Maiden who claims to be law enforcement. You contradict yourself when you say you claim him, and yet do not enslave him. But let's not speak half truths and half lies." He raised kept his back to the woman, focusing on the Ace.
"Everyone is beautiful in their own right. Blah blah blah. Sure. That's great. But if you want pretty ears who am I to stop you? I mean if you want ears you might look cute with them." He paused when the Ace commented about having his ears ripped off. Ow. Who would do that? Angry Yarrow he bet.
And he could just see Rosemary smothering him with love and kisses. That'd be cute.
"But, Ace. If you can talk... do you have someone you're looking for?" Parsley tilted his head to the side at the thought. Aces were expensive right? Why would they let something so precious run around? Weird. Weird indeed.
His ears twitched and flattened. If no one was looking for the Ace what did that mean? Did that mean the Ace was free game? What....argh.
"So the Ace just wants some ears. Okay. Someone must specialize in cartilage related experiments. I know of people who specialize in making people hair, wings, just... not ears. Might need to post an add for ears." Once Parsley had a goal it was hard to distract him from it. He would ignore the Yarrow woman as long as possible. Queen of contradictions was the only thing he could think of when she spoke.
Who... could make ears...?

He turned his head back to the squirrel as he spoke again, confused. What did it matter who he was looking for or what he wanted? "No... I thought someone would want me if I had ears again. Do you think that makes sense?" He was asking an honest question, maybe it only made sense to him and he was being weird. He would have been very happy to know that this Rosemary person would shower him with love and kisses, in fact, he might have gotten very emotional. It was pretty much his life's goal thus far, as slowly as it was coming along.
But he wanted someone to really love him, for him, and someone who wasn't ashamed of him. That would be really super nice. The ace was indeed 'free game' though surprisingly, until this very day, not a soul had ever shown interest in him. Living on the streets, it was fairly obvious that he was 'unclaimed', but still no one had cared. Not that it had bothered him, as he didn't know that he was a property of sorts, and that in and of itself could have made his dream come true... kind of, possibly.
"Post an.. add? I don't know this..." He glanced at the ground and blushed, he had really gotten in over his head in this one apparently. But what was he expecting, to just walk in and say 'Hi! Can anyone give me new ears that will work and be pretty?'. He didn't even know if the money he'd managed to scrounge up would be even half of enough. There was too much hoping and not enough planning behind this, and really, he felt like an idiot for it now. This always happened when he was around smart people though.
The fox couldn't help but cast snowy white-grey orbs in the direction of the squirrel's wings. Why couldn't he have been born with something neat like that? Then maybe his mom would have thought he was rare and special and would have liked him more. They sure looked nice and soft and fun. He was starting and realized it suddenly, looking at the squirrel's face to see if he was angry or offended.

"It makes sense, though I think you're a pretty good looking Ace without ears. I mean, you look a little strange without them but I don't see any scarring and the fur grew over. I'm surprised that you don't have hearing problems." He found himself ranting and quickly corrected himself. Maybe if the Ace managed to come home with Rosemary would take him and paper him. It looked like he needed it with all that dirt on his fur.
"Yeah. An advertisement. I would post in the newspaper that I need someone who can make ears to make you look pretty. I'd take care of all of it." He said with a tail fluff.
He didn't notice at first that the Ace was staring at him. He was thinking about how to post a classified that didn't sound like he was planning to experiment on himself. He was surprisingly happy with they way he looked. When he finally did notice that the canine was staring he glanced back at his wings and wiggled them. "Fun aren't they? I was born like this because my mom ended up drinking some weird potion. I do know of someone who specializes in wings though, so if you're ever curious my sister, Rosemary might want to help you get some."

Inali knew that she was losing this battle and yet it was her pride that only kept her here, yet... there was those memories that pulled themselves to the top before she turned to the squirl.
She listened to what he had to say, and waited while he made his arguments and acted as if he really wanted to help out the Ace in every way possiable, even throwing in things that was well out of the reach of Inali's paygrade.
She gave a sigh and finaly spoke up.
It was rare that you would find a yarrow that would have just backed down in a fight expecialy when it was matched by Ego... and yet she would rather have the best for the Yarrow Male.
"I have failed to get your name, and yet I sit here listening to you speak to what you just earlyer didn't even consider a real person, though the way you speak you have the best intentions for thsi ace, to help him out in what he wants most." wow this was harder than she thought... she still couldn't remove the bite from her words yet... she wanted to just walk away from the whole ordeal, but it was her Yarrow Duty to protect those of her kind...
"Its hard for me to say this, but you may just be right. You do seem more capiable to care for him than I could, and besides? Where would I hide him if I returned to the Gardens? They would kill both him and me..." she said with a slight cough. It was really hard to do...
"So... I will hand him over to you without dispute only on one condition." she said with a great smile to herself, both inwardly and outward.

He blushed at the compliment, they were so few and far between he never knew how to react to them. His tail thumped the ground happily for a moment, and he looked up bashfully at the winged male. "R-really? Yeah... I don't know, I hear fine somehow. Maybe that means I'm not too damaged and still fixable?" He'd never thought of it before, but him having no ears should have made the thought cross his mind at some point. His hearing had just never gone away and he hadn't questioned it. If it was a birth defect, then sure, it would have probably ended up poorly, but since it was simply a removal of skin and cartiledge and dur and everything internal was still intact, it kind of made sense.
"You can do all that?" The fox said with a touch of awe in his voice. Of course he was impressed, the idea of putting up an 'add' didn't even cross his mind, and he wouldn't know how to make one, or who to ask. There was no way Sabien could have handled it on his own, but the Corvistownean seemed to be able to, easily. He wished he was so smart sometimes, it would make life a bit easier. But as long as someone smart loved him, that'd be okay too. They could be smart for him, and he could be a pretty thing to make them happy.
When the wings that the canine had been watching fluttered, he visibly perked forward to inspect them, as if still unable to believe they were really real. Having never seen a squirrel before, he didn't know whether the wings were normal or not. Ah, the male explained it all and the fox couldn't help but grin. Potions? Cool! "That is really neat. Oh, your sister, she would want to make me pretty too?" Ears AND wings? No way. It sounded too unreal. He didn't want to get his hopes up just yet, but if this Rosemary wanted it (oh, she sounded pretty!), then he would want her to be happy with him.
He seemed to stiffen when his attention was drawn back to the female canine. She had been real nice, and now she seemed sad and he felt like it was his fault. A mention of names came up, and he just felt the need to interject, as if distracting the conversation would make her not seem as sad as she suddenly did. "I'm Sabien. If you want, anyway..." He added the last bashfully, as he'd been called 'Ace' an awful lot and didn't know if he was supposed to have a name. The first book he'd ever had someone read to him, the main character's name had been Sabien and he'd taken it for himself. It was kind of silly actually.
He tried to understand what was going on, wait.. hand him over? So he was going to belong to the winged male now? What was the canine going to do? Had he scared her off? This was a lot to follow at once, and hard!

Parsley focused on the Ace first. One thing at a time when he was thinking, that's how it worked eighty percent of the time. The Ace was nicer anyway. "It's not hard posting an advertisement. I just need to pay a little money and word things right. People jump on projects like that here. I'm surprised someone didn't... find you sooner."
He couldn't imagine a lot of people wanted to do nice things to Aces. A lot of the chemical Corvies used them for experiments. Using any card for an experiment was weird in his opinion, that's why he stuck to mechanics.
"My sister, though she won't admit to it, enjoys "making things pretty." That's why she has a body tattoo of roses." He said with a dismissive paw wave.
And now it was time to focus on the Yarrow Woman. His ears twitched as he turned to look at her. When the Ace provided a name he couldn't help but smile. Well, that made things easier. "The name is Parsley, Mechanical Corvistowneian."
And there she went. On her high horse. Yeah. Yarrow was extreme, but he doubted they would kill one of their own. He also highly doubted they would kill law enforcement. Then again he wasn't a woman, so he didn't know. "I won't make a promise until I hear what you have to say. Anyway, Sabien isn't yours to give. He can bite me and go with you if he feels like it... I suppose. A stray has no master until it chooses."
But Aces weren't people so... did it count? He wasn't sure anymore. It talked so if it didn't like him he wasn't going to argue with it. It? Was Sabien a he or she? That was a girl's name but.... the Ace sort of sounded like a boy.
Ergh. Fail. It was like assuming the fairy squirrel was a she. It happened often enough that he never made assumptions about others gender.
"Just to get things straight, Sabien. You are in fact a boy right? I just don't want to make a plan assumption about gender when you capable of telling me."
A pet that could talk. That was useful. He knew Mr. Jingles could talk but not like this. Huh.

Inali could tell that the Corvy still didn't like her in the least, which didn't bother her one bit. She gave a shrug as to what he had said and continued on with her deal.
"Well Parsley, Your sister as you have said would love to have an ace such as Sabien, and you seem quite fond of him yourself... The one thing that I ask is that I know the location that he is in when you take him away. Such as where he is and lives... for two reasons, to make sure that he is in a good home, and to make sure that no other Yarrow comes to kill him in his sleep."
She gave a small smile to Sabien, he would have been quite attractive to her if only he was a she as she thought in the biggining. Oh well...
