Malchiah watched the caution in those eyes with amusement. Oh he wanted to poke him, he could tell. That was the owl's reaction to everything he didn't like, or couldn't decipher. Poke it! One of these days he was going to poke something he shouldn't and get into a lot of trouble.
The sparrow tilted his head at the comments about Ader. Ader was a good Queen, a fair ruler. Ader was quite frankly, almost like a second father. Though, a HOT doable second father, good thing Pasch couldn't hear his thoughts. Though honestly Malc thought quite a few people were doable. It wasn't that he was a slut, he just liked a good time. But the combination of fun and neurotic tendencies in Pascha was just too awesome to pass up. Probably why they got along so well.
The owl had a few tricks though, that's for sure. Malc surpressed the urge to shiver when he remembered the day the owl had locked him in the bathroom and wouldn't let him out until he had cleaned the toilet. . What an AWFUL day.
"I think he's probably more sensitive than you think. It's the tough ones that are." He said lovingly bapping Pasch on the tip of his beak. He had heard how worried the male had been while he was sick. He barely remembered it really, must have been the hallucinations that had gone along with it. Honestly the sparrow didn't remember much leading up to it either.
He made a small strangled noise as he had to fix the feathers again and poked the owl lightly. "Quit that" Malc giggled.

Poking was Pascha's way of retaliating, mostly because he was often left without anything better to do. It was that or turn away and go find something different to occupy his mind with... damn his lack of an actual upbringing.
The owl once again watched what appeared to be a myriad of thoughts flickering through Malc's mind, and couldn't help but be horribly amused. "What are you thinking about?" He questioned, his head tilted.
He shrugged. "I know he is. I've seen him gone through some hard stuff.. but he's, err, walked in on us before, and he tends to be more amused than embarrassed." He paused, then muttered, "And I hear about it for a weak aftewords.." Pascha's beak twitched a bit when it was bopped, and he reached forward to nibble on whatever part of his hand he could reach.
The owl didn't stop messing with his feathers though, even when told to, but merely grinned and pulled one into an odd angle.

"Too much birdeh too much." He answered cryptically with a grin. The sparrow stopped for a second. Ader. . had walked in on them before? Well this was news to him, very, amazingly, amusing news. Malchiah burst out laughing and hugged Pasch a bit tighter for a second.
"Well at least he has good humour about it?" His voice changed lilt, teasing slightly. "Oh no, Daddy caught you screwing the hired help." Snicker.
He couldn't help it, it was hilarious. He laughed harder, holding a stitch that had shown up in his side. Hands batted at the owl as he tweaked more feathers and finally Malc snickered.
"That's enough you!" Promptly batting the hand away, fixing the feather and attempting to roll on top of and pin the other male.
"Surely you don't want me to be all ruffled and ugly? You're just trying to start something aren't you?" POKE!

"Vague much?" Pascha quipped back, an eyebrow raised again.
Of course, Malc had to go and start laughing and saying other weird things, and Pascha quickly became less than amused. How was it that Malc managed to never notice these things, but Pascha not only noticed but got made fun of for a week? So not fair, so NOT fair.
He tried to push off of the sparrow, but was quickly rolled on and pinned, though he didn't think Malc had immediately realised his intentions of moving. Pascha almost tried to muscle his way out from under him, but instead crossed his arms over his chest and glared up at the sparrow.
Ruffled and ugly? What? And what was this about starting something? Well he hadn't been, but if Malc was going to, he certainly would continue it. "No, but if that's what you want.." He replied, and poked the bird in the thigh with his toe.
Take that, creative poking!

A rather wonderful grin was on Malchiah's face when he realized he actually had him pinned. He was surprised that Pasch actually made a gambit at getting out from under him and laughed a little more. Ah yes, let the games begin! Malc would let the owl up if he really wanted but for now, now he was going to have some fun.
He was just about to say something as a taloned toe was raised and poked him. His green eyes blinked rapidly and he grinned more.
"Toe pokes? That's a new one even for you Pasch." He leaned forwards suddenly and attempted to ruffle the white male's feathers while tickling along his ribs and armpits. Hahah, take THAT poker man!
He tried to straddle him a little better, keeping Pasch beneath him on the floor for easier tickling. Malc honestly couldn't remember if the owl was ticklish but he'd find out soon enough he supposed. TICKLE TICKLE.

Pascha merely shrugged serenely. "I strive to find new and inventive ways to poke every day of my life." He said loftfily, purposefully making very little sense.
Then Malc began doing something involving.. poking and ruffling? What? It was moderately annoying mostly because he'd have to fix his feathers, but he supposed he had that coming. But why was Malc so amused?
The owl sat there with a confused expression, an eyebrow raised, when he finally got it. "Are you trying.. to tickle me?" He asked, starting to laugh--though it had nothing to do with the supposed tickling. It took him very little time before he was cracking up rather hard, but he managed to get out, "I'm not ticklish, my dear, not at all."
He sat there laughing for a few minutes before he abruptly lunged forward and tried to tackle Malc, intending to pin him himself.

.. Such an odd little bird Pasch was, Malc thought it was wonderful. "Oh? Well one day someone's going to poke you back in a way you've never seen and then won't you be sad?"
He laughed tickling the small male but slowly, the tickling subsided. Why wasn't Pascha laughing? And why did he have that expression on his face? He looked so. .confused, and then.
"Yes. . . You're. . .not?" He asked before suddenly the owl was on top of him. Malchiah was thrown backwards with surprise. His wings managed to get out of the way just in time but he landed on his back. Malc's arms hit the floor to help break his fall and now he was the one with a confused and odd look on his face as the white male sat upon him near cackling.
The wind had been knocked out of him slightly by the pounce and he was left blinking on the floorl

"Sure Malc, whatever you say," Pascha replied vaguely, not exactly sure how someone could poke him in a way he'd never seen before. A poke was.. a poke?
Pascha couldn't help but burst into laughter again when Malc looked so totally and dismally disappointed. "Nope!" He replied. "Not in the slightest." He grinned, then leaned forward to gently nibble on the sparrow's beak--the closest the two of them to get to a kiss.
Silly birds, having no mouths, really.
"Sorry to disappoint, though. You'll just have to find some other way to annoy me.. if you can get up." Pascha stated, both eyebrows raised. That wasn't a challenge, not at all. Pfft, challenges. Of course, Pascha's wings were currently half-opened, braced for anything Malc might throw at him. The owl idly grabbed one of Malc's hands and began playing with his fingers, all the while watching his expression with a grin.

Malc's eyes narrowed a little, he was trapped. When and HOW did that happen? He really hadn't seen it coming at all. Good for Pasch, . . bad for him.
"Well I'll just have to find something else won't I?" He asked with a snicker before wiggling, seeing how good Pasch's seat upon his chest was. Malc grinned a little at the nibbling and returned it before trying to lunge forwards to unseat Pasch, but it accomplished nothing. Damn wings, giving him bracing ability.
He sure did look good up there though didn't he? His wings half-spread and an arrogant smirk upon his face. Malchiah trilled as his fingers were played with and tried to get up again with a groan, realizing he really was well and truly stuck. Odd how that. . seemed to.
Depending on where the owl was sitting he'd probably notice that Malc didn't mind him being on top of him . .. at all.

"Yes." Pascha stated with a nod, "Yes, you will."
Malc tried to lunge forward, but all he accomplished was a bit of fluttering of wings and Pascha was where he'd been before, just as firmly seated. Nice try, but no cigar. Pascha stared down at him, his eyes quickly narrowing, as he realised just how little the sparrow was trying to get out. A second half-hearted attempt.. and then he just laid there, looking a bit too satisfied.
The owl frowned, and tugged at one of the fingers he was playing with. "Now who's not being much fun, hmm?" He paused, then shrugged. "Well, if you don't want to play... maybe I'll just.." He trailed off, then abruptly stood up, ".. go find something else to do." The bird flippantly finished, then jumped over Malc and walked to the other side of the room and began occupying himself with some random papers on the desk as best as he could. Tricks like this tended to work best when he was actually trying to distract himself, versus just pretending to, because Malc didn't see through them as quickly.
Of course, Pascha just sucked at pretending, but he was working on it!
