“Yeah”[/b] he said as he nodded to her first comment. Having a good luck charm was always handy, but that one was her’s and he did not want to take it from her.
He thought silently about the capital, would he really like it there? How much work would he have and just how long would he be there? He had not really even thought of those things since his father had told him that he would be going. The account was not a large one, in fact, it was quite small and the job was almost finished. He was only going to tend to the small details that were left on the jobsite. Her small joke brought his attention back to her and he just smiled. Maybe some day he would do just that…maybe. He just confirmed her comment with a nod and a grunt of agreement.
The walk was silent as he thought about all of the things he needed to do and things that he was wondering as they made their way towards his home. Luckily, it was not far and they soon saw it on the horizon. He smiled and his pace picked up a little when he soon realized that his long awaited bath would become a reality.
When they reached the door, he shouldered it open and headed towards the back room where his sister would be waiting to help him get off the grime. “Tuuli, if you want you can wait in the kitchen, it shouldn’t take too long and you know where everything is.”[/b] He turned away from her before she could say a word, even if he mouth was not holding the basket and happily went down the small hall to take his bath.
