Sabe laughed a bit from Colins reaction to the threes saying. Sabe had quite the respect for all those that were lower than he, no matter even if they were a two. Though aces... that was something else that was a totaly diffrent story. He couldn't stand an ace, no matter who or what realm they came from. He gave a sigh remembering that though as he walked pass the bouncer and lead Colin inside the building, that he knew quite well.
Once he had entered did he smile to the bartender, a Hisstor waste doe, she was quite the looker, though she seemed to have done something with her hair for it wasn't quite the same as it looked before. Now it was a bright cheery red that hung in curls. She smiled and waved at him in her biped fourm, something else that had changed about her.
He walked over to a table looking about the room, spotting all the dancers that were working hard attempting to make their coin. Though this place had a high reputation as a Gentalmans Club in the wall... a secluded club that was meant for those that knew where it was and those that were invited to it.
He turned and smiled at the waitress that was already approaching, a six of hearts mare. This place though was filled with biped women, and pretty ones at that. Mostaly mares and does. He turned to Colin, "So what do you think about this place? Does it get your whisle wet?" he asked with a smile as he turned to the waitress, ""A Tallmans Glasier with a bit of lime," he said turning to Colin, "And my friend here, Coline, will like to have?" he said with a smile waving his hand at Colin so he could answer for himself.

As Sabe entered the establishment, Colin followed, still feeling light and jovial...though one look at what it was like inside and...he felt slightly...odd. He'd never been to a place like this, if it was what he suspected it was. Not that he went to bard often anyway, but with JUST how many biped females were running around, or dancing, or serving drinks, and how little some of them were wearing...Colin felt heat rise to his cheeks, though luckily it wouldn't be visible under his feathers.
He sat down across from Sabe, folding his wings a little awkwardl, and then smiled at Sabe. Still trying to cling to the feeling from before, and not worry so much about how uncomfortable the atmosphere made him. "Ah, it's...interesting," he replied very noncommitally, though he smiled as he said it. "And I am feeling rather thirsty." He turned to smile gallantly at the mare, and even offered her a slight incline of his head. Always on the best of behavior.
"I'll have your best red wine please, ma'am," he requested, hoping he wasn't far off the mark in what they'd serve here. He had never been one for all those fancy mixed drinks...too much to try and remember, and some of them disguised how much alcohol were really in them.

Sabe smiled at Colins reaction as the woman walked away carring their orders with them. He leaned on the tablle a bit resting his elbows on the smooth wood. He extened his long neck so he could get a bit more closer to Colin, without busting his own personal bubble.
"See anyone that you fancy?" he asked as he tilted his head twoards another female that was starting to come out, she was an avian, and a cockatul from the Highlands. He smiled at her as she spotted them. Though she seemed to have something else on her mind.
He instead turned back to Colin, waiting for the drinks to get back, "So, how has life been treating you?" he said with a bit of a laugh, "Good I hope because you should be having fun now." he said watching Colin for his reaction.

Colin's instictive reaction was to lean away slightly as Sabe's neck came towards him, even though it didn't come too close. Sabe had apparently noticed the cardinal tended to shy away from physical contact. He blinked at the question--what sort of thing was THAT to ask? "It..." he broke off, deciding not to comment on how it was inappropriate and not gentlemanlike to look at a woman in that way...after all, it COULD just be an innocent question. The beauty of the Card body was...something he could appreciate, after all. The problem being people tended to automatically assume that admiring the beauty of another person had to be sexual. Which it didn't. "...is too early to tell," he finished instead, with a brilliant smile.
Colin couldn't help but follow Sabe's gaze...and oh! That WAS a very lovely cockatiel...Highlands. The giolden swirls on her feathers and the delicate little red slashes poking out from under the edges of her shirt...Colin felt a slight blush on his face, and he looked away, realizing he'd been staring a bit.
He took a deep breath, willing himself to relax again. Trying to bring back the earlier feeling. After all, it...there was no shame in admiring that type of beauty. Even if it did sometimes send his mind to...other places. He smiled at Sabe again, a bit nervously.
"Oh, it's been about the same as always," he said with a slight laugh. "Buisiness has been going well. I'm scheduled for a concert tomorrow night, so that's always a pleasure." Thinking about that helped him relax slightly...which was good. "And, well, the night has barely started. I'm sure it'll be fun," he added, waving a wing slightly and admiring the rather fetching combination of Morganberry and Villa in another passing waitress. Forcing himself to look a bit longer than he normally would. He...he didn't want to come off as prudish or anything. Even if...he sort of was.

He smiled, the avian before him was quite the embarrassed type. He wondered at what type of face card he would make. He would be dedicated to his job, so much like what he had said, he would also be quite willing to please, and a good person to turn to when you had some sort of idea. Though, now he was seeing something that he hadn't seen in the avian. He liked to look, but seemed to not like to touch. It was common enough, he was new to these type of environments.
He cleared his throat to call Colin back to him, instead of whatever fantasy that he was enjoying at the moment, "Colin, you know, if you wish to have one come over then all you have to do is ask. Tis their job, to appease other people, just like my past job and yours now." he said smiling seeing that the drinks were on the way. He knew that the red wine that they served here were aged slightly and cost a bit of cash, so he didn't mind footing the bill... and whatever else Colin might want to get.
"You know, I'm happy, truly happy, that you came here with me, for it has been quite some time since the last time I have been here. I came here when I was an animal." he said accepting the drinks with a thanks, watching her as she walked away. "Cheers to your wisdom and wise comments to help me veer from a bad career choice. For without you I might just have been locked up by that Rodney cop that walks around." he said as he held up his bluish colored sweetened drink that seemed to smoke slightly from the cold it was under.

It was only when Sabe spoke again, returning his attention to the heron, that Colin realized he had been looking quite a bit longer than he had intended to. He flushed hotly, and lowered his head, claw fidgeting with a napkin. "Er...of course, yes, I understand," he said hurriedly, trying to appear less flustered than he was. He did find it...odd that his job was being compared to that of a skimpily dressed waitress in a bar....but made no remark on this analogy.
When their drinks came a moment later, Colin accepted his wine graciously, with a small incline of his head and a hearty thank you. He turned back to Sabe with a smile on his face, and raised his glass as well.
"You're very welcome, Sabe." He figured, having drinks with someone, you earned the right to call them by name. "I'm glad you knew of this place, and I'm defintiely glad I was able to talk you out of that unwise decision." He smiled, letting his glass clink against Sabe's before taking a sip. His face lit up.
"Oh wow. That is some good wine!" he said, grinning. "No longer will I listen to those who claim bars only cater to beer and mixed drink preferring patrons."

He smiled a bit from both his flustered self and how he carried himself trying to hide his intentions that he must have been thinking. He wasn't going to tell him yet that in gentlemen's clubs you could only see and not touch. Though... Sabe knew most of those that worked here and allowed him to touch due to him being an exemplary gentlemen.
"Yes, this place caters to those that want something to drink, and their red wine, last time I remember, is a twelve year old vintage from Easterberry." he said with a smile, hoping that the bird knew that it was rather expensive, though once he would figure it out would he, Sabe, foot the bill. "And this is a gentlemen's club, not a random bar on the corner. Also this place is quite selective of its members." he said with a bit of a laugh taking a sip from his glass, it felt like ice running down his throat. "Good stuff... oh, before I forget when all these drinks starts to get the better of myself, it was really a good thing that I had met you. If their is anything you want, either here or else where just let me know and you will get it." he said with a smile as he leaned back and idly watched the females dancing around the polls that were installed in the walk ways.

Considering Colin was not only a virgin, and leery of physical touch of any kind, but also considered himself to be very gentlemanly himself...not being able to touch any of the pretty waitresses wasn't going to disspoint him, and in fact might relieve him a little. He wouldn't get any ideas that, in order to be socially acceptable here, he needed to make passes at anyone.
But that wasn't in his mind now, and his eyes widened, looking down at his wine as Sabe explained where it came from. "Wow, really? That stuff's gotta be expensive...even my rich aunt doesn't get wine that good..." Colin trailed off, looking uneasy. It was a good thing he was only planning to have a little of this stuff. That would probably take all the cash he had on him...
"I see," Colin nodded, though not entirely sure what that meant. Whatever a 'gentleman's club' was, he didn't think he'd been to one before. He went to take another sip of the wine, a small one, so as to savor it, when Sabe made an offer that made him sputter a bit, nearly losing the mouthful of wine, but swallowing in time to avoid himself undue embaressment.
"Oh...oh Sabe, that...that's wonderful of you! You really don't have to...a favor, really?" Colin grinned. He could think of quite a few situations in which being 'owed one' by a Queen would really help.

Sabe turned his attention back to the card before him, he didn't know that he was still a virgin, nor shy about his or others personaly touch. If he would have known he would have chuckled and found some sort of way to fix it. He wasn't a virgain nor was he one at Colins age. He enjoyed the whole idea and feeling of sex. It was his drug, it was what got him on his own natural high.
Sabe chuckled at Colins rection to the favor, it wasn't a unconditinal favor, but it was worth something. He then thought about this and made sure that Colin wouldn't waste it on something small. "Oh, and don't thinking about using this favor on the drinks, or other things, this night." he said rasing his glass that wasn't as expencive as Colins but still good in taste comparison. "So I'll foot the bill for this night, even if you wish for a personal dancer to come over." he said with a wink as he waved his off hand, not holding the drink, around the room. Each was a dacner in their own right. It was something that came with thsi job.

Getting such a favor was a rare treat, and Colin was no fool...he hadn't been planning to use it the same day it was offered him, on something he could easily cover himself. Well, perhaps easily was the wrong word...he really was leery of how much the wine would cost. But he was sure he could make it as long as he stuck to one glass. But as Sabe offered to pay for the whole night, his eyes widened even more, and he found he could not but stand and bow.
"Sabe, this is truly an honor. You have been too kind to me, and after this night I shall not consider you any less than a dear friend, whatever our difference in Rank and Suit, and I hope you will do the same for me," he gushed, feeling almost dizzy with gratitude and amazement at Sabe's kindness. Or maybe that was the wine already starting in on him. He found he really didn't care as he sat back down, grinning, and took another sip.
He couldn't help but blush a bit at Sabe's latest offer about the private dancer, hoping it wasn't noticable. He found, though, that he really...wouldn't mind taking him up on that one. Now that MUST be the wine talking. "We'll see what happens," Colin said with a laugh. "If anything...catches our eyes."
