D: IT WAS AMAZING AND I ADORED IT. That is all.
Also I kind of liked the plot hehe. XP But it was mainly so very, very preeeetttyyyy. And the characters were all outstanding and awesome.
Highly recommended for anyone that has not yet seen it! XD;;

Ha, I realize I'm behind the times here, but I just got back from the film and had to say--entertaining. I felt the whole BE YOURSELF versus conformity thing was a little forced, and the very end COMPLETELY threw me out of the whole damn movie (but that's a spoileriffic conversation for AIM) and is currently bogging my brain down with far too many Bee Is An English Major, Watch Her Over-Think Things theories, but it was visually quite stunning, and I have nothing but love for the hare, the Hatter, and the Cheshire Cat. (Quick, someone diagram that sentence!)
But yeah. XD A good flick to catch, all in all.

Visually stunning, but I felt it really lacked something, like some level of substance. I can't quite put my finger on it. There were many things that made me smile, but a good many things also made me go: "Huurrr?"
More later. Must do things.

I completely agree, Satra. It was missing something. I think Disney tried a little too hard to make it "family-friendly" when it could have been so much more. I just really didn't believe the characters. I reallllly really wanted to, but it just didn't happen and that disappointed me.

[rolls in late] Just saw the movie~ I have to agree with most of you - plot was a bit flat, didn't go where I wanted it to, and didn't immerse me in the story - but it was what it was: a visually stunning return to an old classic and I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of it. For what it is, a PG movie, it was wonderfully enjoyable and, again, the visuals were great. Beautiful scenery, delightful beasties, and a wonderful devotion to the Nonsense of it all.<3
