no in all seriousness guys, Soul Silver is AWESOME. I picked up a copy on Sunday and have been playing since. There's a certain delicious nostalgia to it that a lot of the newer ones don't have - something that is only helped by the fact that Gold and Silver were always my favorite (so sue me).
Do any of you have it? Or are you planning to get it? SOD NETPLAY BATTLE GOOOOOOOOOOO

these ones are remakes of gold and silver, which is every cool fore one thing bexause gold and silver were my favoritews
you get to explore two continents too, and it comes with a pedometer thing that levesl up your pokemons when you for for walks 2hich is super cool

Hee~ I'm glad to see I'm not the only one being consumed by poke'tastic nostalgia! Gold/Silver/Crystal were my favorite pokemon series and I'm rolling with glee over the remakes. I've got both SoulSilver and HeartGold but I'm focusing on SoulSilver (favorite) for the time being.<3
I enjoy the tamagotchi/pedometer pokeballs so much it hurts... For your viewing pleasure, my dorkiest dream ever: to have a full party (6) worth of pokewalkers. YOU WILL ALL BOW BEFORE MY TEAM OF GHOSTS!
Of course, this is partially to blame for my absence lately (along with new anime, and the usual school/financial bs lol).

...kay, so yeah, I broke down and got it. Silver was out at K-Mart on the island, so I went for Gold instead. Doesn't bother me any. xD
I'm playing it "as" a muse of mine, rather than as me, because I'm being extra lame and the kid really needs to get out more. Being a pokemon trainer should help him with that.
