Eldryia followed her mother in silence, steps light and whiskers forward alertly as she walked. This wasn't how she'd envisioned her homecoming. Not really. Part of her was scared, but another part...well, the part that was getting louder now that she was back to her own thoughts, would have liked to see Apocalypse pay. He would only be getting what he deserved, after all.
So it was that when her mother stopped and looked at her, Eldy hesitated for a moment. She had to really think about this one seriously. But in the end...she trusted Peaches's judgement. And probably always would. Certainly she trusted it more than Pale's, if the man even had any. Heh. "Of course, Mom," she said, moving to open the nursery door. "Give the man hell," she added under her breath with a dark look at the ground. Taking a deep breath, not wanting to face children while still brooding or angry, Eldy pushed open the door and entered the nursery, looking around to see the new members of the family.

Peaches took a deep breath and nodded. She thanked her daughter quietly. She should have probably warned the girl before she opened the door that Falks was a little strange and dear little Vaska was a tiny bit crazy. Oh well. Eldy would get over it. Right now Mommy was going to find the man who hurt his babies and quite possibly tear his manhood clean off. She skipped away, her face clearly indicating that no one should bother her. Falks curled up under the pile of stuffed animals a bit more when he heard the door click open. He didn't want to play. He didn't want to hear Mommy. He just wanted to nap. Benedict made a sound before nipping his brother's ear. The cat-bat shot upwards, throwing off the stuffed animals with a ear piercing squeal. Benedict whistled when he saw the cat that looked remarkably like their mother. That must have been the mysterious sister Eldy? He would have grinned if possible. "Hello!"Falks stared for a moment at the cat that looked like Mom but clearly wasn't. He gave a small squeak before hiding behind one of the stuffed animals.

All in all, Vaska's reaction to the entrance of someone who both did and didn't look like his mother was fairly relaxed. The bat was tangled in a blanket, red eyes peering out at the stranger, wide and almost horrified. Had mom been... Cloned? It certainly looked that way, except this clone was imperfect. It was missing an ear. The idea that this was simply his half-sister never entered his mind, thanks to the overactive, paranoid imagination that filled it. He crept forward, slowly pulling the blanket off over his massive ears, which pulled back against his head. He sniffed at her. She smelled different from mom, but he could swear that there was a whiff of Peaches on the outer edge of that different smell. She was a clone, albeit a terrible one. One ear and the purple was in different places. Not only that, but she had to wear mom-scented perfume. The bat screwed up his face, leaning in a little closer, glowering at her. " We don't like your kind here, missus," he said, the scraggledy hair on his back standing up with alarm. " We know you're not our mom. Mom-perfume doesn't hide that. Your binding isn't even right. And you've only got one ear!" he spoke slowly and carefully, struggling to keep calm. If he showed any fear, though, she could take over.

For a moment, Eldryia could really only stare at the sight in front of her. Well, she saw her two half-brothers now...er....three? Two and a half? Um. Why was there a talking skull on the end of that guy's tail? Why were they both staring at her like she was some kind of alien (except for the skull, who had no eyes), and why was--one of them in her face saying something completely insane.
"What the hell, Mom?" she muttered, thinking a bit of warning would have been nice. Something like, 'oh by the way, you have really weird ass siblings now.' Augh. Okay, first...she put a paw in front of the crazy bat's face, and pushed very gently. He was way too close to her personal bubble.
"Hello. I actually am not trying to be your Mom," she shot the bat an odd look. "My name is Eldryia and I am your half sister. I look so much like Mom because she's my Mom too. I...sorry for the delayed reaction I'm just...a bit surprised." Heh, understatements...she shook her head and walked fully into the room, shutting the door gently behind her. No need to let the crazy be public.

Falks peaked out from under the stuffed animals to give his wide eyed terrified stare. He shifted a bit when Eldy spoke. Half sister? Mommy had mentioned something about her. But Scary Sister Xiven was the only one who was around a lot. So Eldy was still a scary stranger to some degree. He popped out a little more, his brother Benedict was still hovering over his shoulder.
"Well," the skull said, "You're handling it pretty well. Most people at least scream when I start talking. You even had a better reaction than Mom when she first found out." He refrained from snickering. "It's nice to meet you in person Sister Eldy."
Falks made a small hideous sound that was a cross between a squeak as he changed to a sitting position. He had to give a proper greeting right? Even if this person who may or may not have been their half sister was who she said she was. What if she was here to kidnap them? What if she was here to whisk him away to some place horrible? What if--Ben bit him lightly on the shoulder, causing another squeak.
"HI!" he blurted out loudly than intended.

What? At his half-sister's muttering, Vaska pulled his head back, his already-round eyes getting just a little bit wider as he did. Mom wasn't here. Why was this person talking to her, especially if she wasn't trying to replace their mother? A high-pitched whimper bubbled out of the bat, and when he was pushed, it became a shrill yell, accompanied with some frenzied flapping.
That lasted until she started to look at them again and explaining exactly what was going on. He blinked, and moved right back to his near-violation of her personal bubble. "Waitwaitwait. So you're... you're Miss Xiven's sister? Oh. Oh." the bat rocked back on his ankles, rubbing his wing-thumbs against his face as he thought. He was thinking hard, clearly, because his little brows furrowed beneath his tangle of blue hair.
Slowly, his attention turned to his siblings, and he nibbled on his lower lip, twitching. How could they trust the woman? After all, she was a new person, and new people were scary.
Deciding not to take any chances, Vaska slunk away from her, choosing instead to take shelter beside Falks and Ben. He draped one wing around the bigger of the two brothers, partway climbing onto him. For safety, of course. Then he went right back to staring intently at the Torque feline, his lips pursing in thought. "Where is mom, anyway?" he asked, narrowing his eyes a little bit more. He didn't like it when he didn't know where his mother was.

Eldy just blinked at the talking skull. In actuality, she might be freaking out a bit more, once everything had a chance to sink in. Right now, and after dealing with so much drama of her own, this all just felt a bit unreal. "Well, birthing a talking skull would give anyone a start," she intoned, taking a moment to reflect on the fact that of the three, the skull actually seemed the most...sane. Funny how that worked.
"So you're...my half-siblings. I knew there was a reason Mom didn't want more children." She shook her head, blinking at first the one crazy sibling, and then the other. "Hi. And yes, Xiven is my sister. Now, why don't you all tell me your names? Or..." She glanced to the skull again. "Maybe you could tell me all of your names." She sat down abruptly rubbing at her head with a paw. She was talking to a skull stuck to the end of someone's tail. Oi. This was just insane.
"Mom is..." Eldy paused, frowning. She'd almost forgotten with all the weirdness of seeing these...creatures, but now it cam back in a rush of memory and a bit of worry. "...heading for an unwise confrontation with an angry...King." Judging by how nervous the poor little Bat already looked though, perhaps that wasn't the best thing to say. Quickly, she forced an unnaturally cheery smile. "That is to say, she's busy right now having a meeting but she should return soon. In the meantime...I'm your babysitter." Well, that about summed it up. Still smiling at the others, Eldy hoped to the hills that she could manage to keep them entertained, and keep her sanity until her Mom returned, hopefully still all in one piece.

Falks whined a bit as his brother climbed on him. He glanced from the woman to the bat. His ears pressed against his skull as he tried to bite back the thoughts of terror that were still racing through his mind.
Ben would have smiled if he was capable of such a thing. Facial expressions, one day he would have them. "My name is Benedict, the bother I'm attached to is Falkenhayn, and Vaska is the one hiding behind Falks." He paused, "What stupid thing is mother doing now?"
Really, as much as he loved his mother she was prone to doing things that were bad for her health.
Falks wasn't quite paying attention, and just randomly blurted out the first thing coherent that came to his mind. He had been staring at the Torquehelm's ear, or... lack of ear rather, and wondered what could have caused such a horrible injury. "What happened to your ear? Did you get into a fight with Xiven or something?"

((Fffgh I thought it was someone else's turn. Sorry I'm a tardface @_@))
A King? An angry King? Momentary panic gripped Vaska and he stared at his half-sibling, eyes narrowing to mere slits in his fuzzy little face. He pressed himself closer against his sibling, finding very much that he needed the comfort. The idea of an Angry King was one that had a very solid picture in his head. That... white guy. The really white one. Even thinking about him made Vaska shake a little bit. Would their mother have gone after him? That... that would be...
Vaska let out a wail, almost interrupting his siblings as he launched himself forward, scrabbling across the floor with his tiny little claws clicking as he went. He pressed right up into the bubble of Eldy's personal space, another shriek escaping him.
"She's doing WHAT? Unwise? That means.. that means DUMB, right?! Mom doesn't do anything dumb, b-b-but..." he sucked in a breath, trying to keep his head from spinning. No, no, why would mom go talk to him? Vaska couldn't understand it, not at all. "Is... Is it him?" The little bat hissed, his lower lip trembling as he tried to keep himself calm and relaxed. It wasn't really working very well.

Edly's first response to the names of her half siblings was to blink, slowly. Then she did it again. She couldn't help but wonder if that was Peaches's sick way of taking revenge for her own horrible name. She wasn't even sure she could pronounce that long one...good thing there was a shortened version. And the poor kid also had a straight jacket as a binding. "Nice to meet you all," she managed, before she as called out on what she'd said. Her ear went back and she crouched a bit defensively as before she could even respond to Benedict, Vaska was in her face again and...Falks was asking entirely unrelated questions. Although they weren't, really.
"Okay, please CALM DOWN," she instructed, using a paw to swipe at Vaska (claws sheathed of course, she didn't want to hurt her poor possibly retarded half sibling). "First of all, everyone does dumb things sometimes, yes, even Mom." She had a licence to say that since the woman was her role model. "And...yes." She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to process how to best explain the situation. "If by 'him' you mean His Highness Apocalypse, who in fact was also the one who did this to my ear." She gestured at her head with a grim smirk.
