The smile that stayed on Molly's beak throughout the child's babbling was...a bit forced, by the end, but it remained there. It probably even came off as perfectly genuine, with Molly's Diamond charm still activated. She was used to forcing politeness she didn't always feel with her work as a secretary, but she'd never really expected that ability to come in handy in her social life. She was also a bit confused...here was this child, speaking of how creepy her Realm was...and yet sounding excited about it, like she was getting some sort of treat.
The request had her drawing in a sharp breath before she could control the reaction, and her feet shifted a bit on the pavement, uncertain, as her eyes darted around behind the sunglasses. "Well, I..." Molly's wing strayed to her scarf, as if assuring herself the marking in question was still well-hidden. And then, Lethe amended her request slightly, and the relief in Molly's voice was nearly palpable. "Yes, I will show you once we're somewhere a little more...private. A lot of Cards aren't as...excited about my...oddities as you seem to be." The smile was a bit more genuine, then, and she looked up at Anatolius, waiting for him to lead the way back to his home...and oh, this was just so exciting! ...of course, assuming he still wanted to associate with her upon learning her region but...he was smiling, still, so that was a good sign! "Thank you again for inviting me to tea, Sir," she said, trailing off hopefully.

Ahh, good. The situation resolved itself a little. Toli gave Lethe another pat and she gave her dad an obviously confused look. What? But oh, the lady didn't look too pleased by her questions at first, had she? Maybe that was why? She'd fixed it though, Lethe told herself, so everything was fine!
"That's great! I love scary stories, but The Moors aren't just creepy like Tulgey. I hear they're supposed to be nice and you're really nice, so I suppose it's true. It's a creepy place I can actually visit one day."
Toli had no clue that his daughter had such a fondness for creepy things, but he supposed it may have been a byproduct of her time with Acheron? The Torque probably knew more tales of the Cranstown Moors than he did.
Ah well, Molly had turned back to him and she didn't seem too flustered by the little girl. Tea would help more than even he had originally suspected. "Please, please, just call me Toli. We're among friends here, dear." What a charming lady. He wondered briefly what suit she was before letting it pass out of his mind again. He enjoyed everyone's company when it really came down to it. "And it's no problem at all. The least I can do, even."
It was only a short distance to his apartment from where they had met up at the fountain. He paused at the door and grinned in an adorably awkward manner. "I gotta admit the place is a little empty right now, we're usually at The Court of Clubs so our apartment tends to get a tad neglected." He pushed open the door, verifying his assessment of the house. It was nice and spacious and had the proper necessities for animals and bipeds alike and even some of the comforts, but it lacked a homey feel.
Tybalt scampered in between his dad's feet and delighted in the immediate relief of being out of the sun. Ahhh, so nice! Toli never noticed the heat, he was a walking ball of flame!, but Tybalt's black fur absorbed it something awful. As Tybalt was scrambling up onto the couch to lounge a bit, Toli finally noticed that the boy's bindings were no longer clipped as they should have been. Molly hadn't said anything yet though and Toli wasn't about to go through the regular fights of getting them back on the child either.

Now that was something Molly appreciated to hear! If Lethe actually wanted to visit the Moors...and then she could go back and tell everyone they weren't so bad, and were actually a good place for a vacation! Sadly, the Moors lacked much in the way of a tourist trade, at present. Only researchers and curiosity-seekers bothered to visit, and even they didn't stay long.
She bobbed her head in agreement. "Yes, dear, we're a very friendly sort and we'd love to have you visit! My home is...well, it's strange, especially on the surface, but I really enjoy it there. Not all things are as they first appear." The latter was a favorite saying of her mother in her more...sober moments. Which were, sadly, getting rarer.
But now was no time to reflect on her distressing family life or lack thereof. She blushed and clucked a bit at Toli's utter politeness. Her charm, she knew, came all from her Suit, but this man seemed to have perfectly natural charm all his own! "You're too kind," she tittered, and followed him, rustling her wings and bobbing her head slightly as she walked.
"Oh, don't worry, dear, I know you weren't expecting company! It's all right," Molly assured him, and stepped inside. To her, the place actually felt...rather lived-in, if not recently. A month or two ago it would have made her horribly lonely to see such a comfortable place, but now she at least had her Bander to keep her company while home.
She forced herself not to visibly melt from the cuteness of Tybalt jumping up on the couch. Oh! Such a little dear. And he had nothing to fear from Molly about his bindings. She felt horribly sorry for Torques, and was actually more the type to remove a friend's binding for them and think she was helping them even if they were not ready to be free. Luckily she had never been in the position to do so.
With a quick glance at Toli, Molly slipped off her sunglasses, blinking her oddly large, dark eyes as they adjusted to the dimmer indoor lighting. Bright sunlight caused her pain without the glasses.

Lethe grinned as she listened to Molly, eyes wide with endearing interest. Her gaze now turned on Toli and her grin widened in that childish manner of 'I told you so'. Even Miss Molly said the Moors weren't all that bad a place to go, so he couldn't keep telling her no anymore! The wolf tried to give her a stern look but it ultimately failed, as it usually did, and collapsed into a warm grin as he let out an exasperated sigh.
"I'll take that look to mean you've already decided our next vacation, hm?"
Lethe nodded cheerfully, letting out a proud "mhm!" before scampering into the house after her brother. Toli could only grin in amusement as he let Molly in and shut the door behind them.
"Thank you, Molly. Please, make yourself comfortable." Toli was about to offer the pigeon a drink when he caught sight of her removing her glasses to reveal the large, dark eyes beneath. He only stared for a moment and, while he did, his expression was nothing more than intrigued but he quickly dipped his head as soon as he realized he was staring. "Do pardon my staring, you have very lovely eyes... Are they sensitive to sunlight?" He could only assume as much, considering she seemed ready enough to take them off indoors. Shame she couldn't display them.
Tybalt made a face at Lethe and his Father when he heard the conversation. They were actually thinking of going to The Moor? Didn't Lethe say that place was massively creepy? He wrinkled his nose from where he'd flopped onto the couch and turned just in time to see Molly take off her sunglasses. He blinked in surprised and arched a brow at Lethe who had just 'oo-ed' in fascination.
What was it with her and weird crap?

Molly clucked appreciatively at Toli as he held open the door for her. It was certainly rare for her to meet such a gentleman! How serendipitous that she'd helped out the child of someone so utterly lovely! She would have loved to show them around the Moors if they came for a visit...it had been entirely too long since she'd been there herself, after all! If she could get the time off work--and they wanted to spend more time with her--she would love to show off her home.
Molly's eyes were still adjusting, and so she didn't actually know that Tolu was staring until he said something. A blush lit up her face beneath her feathers. He thought they were lovely? "You flatter me," she cooed, and the corners of her beak turned up in a bright smile. "Yes...they are sensitive to bright light. Unless it's a cloudy day, I need to wear sunglasses when I go out." It also kept others from staring...as most of them found her eyes creepy and unnatural rather than pretty.
