Bah, must rant briefly about frustrations with my immune system.
So yesterday I went and go lunch with a friend between classes and innocently leaned my arm again the side of the table, didn't even set it rudely atop the damn thing whilst I ate...
And still it punishes me. Something on the stupid table (mystery substance... so I don't even know what to avoid.) caused me to have a massive allergic reaction that's starting to eat my entire arm.
Which 90% of the time my allergic reactions, well... epidermis related anyhow, decided to become immediately infected so I may be on Augmentin.... again.
Fail, so very.... very fail.

o.O;; YOU ARE A LOWLANDER! It's just your rot coming through. More seriously though, I hope it heals faster than expected. I'm sorry love.

Ahhhhh that's awful. I feel your pain.
I have to watch out for that at resturants that serve a lot of families/kids, 'cause the little ones tend to sometimes smear a thin and difficult to detect peanutbutter sandwich residue on the furniture, which sadly my skin can detect JUST FINE.
Luckily that doesn't happen too often, 'cause it's not fun.
And you should probably go to an allergy specialist and get tested if you haven't yet, as those contact allergies can often be a sign that you'll have much bigger problem if you accidentally ingest whatever that was.

I don't think it's an edible sort of thing. My only ingestible allergy I know of does not affect me if it's just contact, only if I eat it.
I think it's some sort of plant residue cause I've had this happen when hiking before as well. Need to figure out what part of the scenery here hates me, lol.
Cream they gave me seems to be working wonders. The lighter red spread more on my arm but the dark, angry red is gone. More pink then anything really, and it's not quite as swollen.
I still have to take 6 pills today but, hey ... if I don't have to use that prescription for Augmentin ... I'm good with that.
