Sadly my beige hooded Spaghetti passed away recently. It was expected, he'd had a stroke and was a bit impaired because of it... but feisty until the end. I was watching him and looking for signs that it was time to put him down but he never lost his spirit and passed away in his favorite snoozing spot in his sleep.
Since it was expected I had to time to prepare myself for it... and I'm ready to invite some new little furries into me home. I was browsing through the local rescue rats and I stumbled on a pair of girls that just meet all my criteria for new little furries to spoil. They're both little gray hoodeds, one really white one more gray, and one of them even has odd-eyes.
I submitted my request and hope to hear back from the rescue soon. I was just so excited I had to share, lol.
Spaghetti was a rescue himself so I'm almost certain he'd approve.

Actually, I had no idea there was such thing as Rat Rescue. I'm glad there is for rodent lovers such as yourself. <3

In my mind, Dania freaked out at the phrase "Rat Hunt".
She feels better now that it's clear that you are hunting them down only for the purpose of love, cuddling and spoiling. <3
Sorry to hear about Spagetti, but it sounds like he had a wonderful happy life with you; I'm sure he would approve of adopting more pets in need!

Poor Mr. Sketters... he was a really handsome example of a manrat. <3 I'm so excited that you managed to find a pair of blue girls that caught you, though! Are there any pictures up online? Which rescue did you decide to go with?

Here they are. =3 And I found them on petfinder through Any Rat Rescue, it's the closest one to where I live. =3

I'm very sorry for your loss, Kitty. It sounds like Spaghetti had a wonderful life and died peacefully and happy in his favorite little place. I'm sure he would very much approve of you rescuing another set of fuzzums to love and care for. I hope you hear back from the rescue soon and are able to take home the girls!

Oh, I'm sorry for the loss of Spaghetti, Kitty. From the sounds of it, your big ol' sweetheart of a rat had a wonderful life, despite the stroke, and he died peacefully, happy in his most favourite place in the whole world, surrounded by those he loved. With Spaghetti being a rescue case himself, I'm sure the rat rescue will approve of you adopting the lovely twosome, Nora and Addy-Ann, to care for shortly. <3

Not the same two I applied fir, Nora had a tooth issue that I honestly don't have time to fit into my routine.... wouldn't want to hurt her or anything... But I do have these two cute little babies... and I'm not sure what to name them, lol. These two girls are pretty adorable though. Only pic I got where you can see her points. =3 She supports breast cancer, lol. And the other is a bracelet I made. Agouti and white make such a pretty combo. That's actually on my shirt... it looks too creepy not to share, lol Belly splash! I'm pretty impressed I got a dead stare on the first day. =3

You have a SMEEZER and a BADGER?! That is so awesome! They're beauuuuutiful! For all of mine, I went with names of characters of mine for the girls and Nat's for the boys. :3 Just sayin'. Characters are a great source.
