It would probably be exceedingly difficult to get a broken species favor from a normal vendor - she would have to either get one directly from a Queen themselves or a mage would have to be making these favors on the side and selling them. Possibly selling broken ones as full species favors. Hard to say. Possibly not "illegal" unless they were mislabeled like that, but very valuable and hard to acquire. Lariel might be the perfect venue.  |

Lariel could have definitely found out about someone making broken favors and selling them marked as full species favors. In an effort to keep themselves out of jail, they could have sold a broken favor to her at a HORRIBLY cheap price. Hehe. Blackmail at its best!
So Lariel could have definitely gotten her hands on a broken species favor. She does all her more frowned upon business in the Outer Bazaar. Want me to set up a thread?

Question: Will Felaria be looking for a BROKEN species favor? Or will she be looking for a Full Species favor and by misfortune get a Broken one instead?
I should be able to set up the thread after I get home from work tomorrow or Sunday. I've worked four weeks with only ONE day off the entire time. I am so fried right now but thankfully have this coming Sunday and Monday off!

Hmm. This is a very good question. I'm guessing she would have her heart set on a full Species favor, but she's sold a Broken in bad (or unknowing) faith. Perhaps Lariel was sold the item on the same premise, that it was indeed a full favor?
