His wonderful planning was thrown off track by the girl's screechy voice interrupting his thoughts. The first blows were scattered from his mind as he stared at the girl in a sort of baffled shock. The little slip of a girl was trying to tell him what to do? That was absolutely ridiculous.
She wanted to pretend she wasn't afraid of him? Fine, he had an answer to that. He made grown men cry in fear, he ate the weak and the strong, and he would make this little baby cry for her mama before he broke her neck.
Or. . . better yet, he'd use the little brat to extend his reputation. Yes, that would be much better. He turned his most feral ugly smile at the girl, "I'm going to eat it." It didn't occur to him that the Ace probably had a gender, and he had not yet moved his larger frame off of the smaller Sorgaire Ranger.

She let out another whimper at the mad horse's comment. This was most definitely not the way that she wanted to go. Looking toward the small child that had interrupted the confrontation, her eyes both pleaded to be saved and the need to tell her to run away.
When the bright pink equine told her what he was doing, Vespera gave a look of disgust in reply also taking a step back away from him. "That is disgusting!" She stated as if that opinion made all of the difference. "You can not be serious." Surely he was joking with her. After all no one did that in real life, that only happened in stories told by parents to frighten their kids.
Everyone knew that.
"Well you are not allowed" she said after a moment, though this time it was not with the same air as before. The idea that he could be serious rather than joking actually putting some fear into her. After clearing her throat she continued, "Because you are helping me." Though her tone had not continued through she finished with a nod, hoping that would be just as convincing.

Eir bared his teeth again and clicked them loudly and sharply at the little girl. What was her problem and why was she hanging around? The little snot should be running and screaming by now. Fine.
"Want to be next?" he snarled flatly. Stupid little brat. His other kill was getting cold. It didn't matter if the strange girl had some balls, he wasn't going to stick around and put up with her anymore.
The stallion rose suddenly and stepped off of the Ace, but his head snaked over and he grabbed her by the scruff. He gave her a quick jerk with his ears flat against his skull. "Come on," he snarled at the creature. Just for laughs he would eat the stupid thing later.
If the Ace tried to run or refused to move now, he would bodily drag her with im.

Vespera narrowed her eyes at him in thought. He would not dare, would he? For some reason she did not want to doubt that he would but her brain refused to even think that he would. No, he was just being a bully and trying to scare her. Well it would not work.
When he grabbed the Ace by the back of the neck she tilted her head to the side. So first he threatened to eat it and now he was not going to? She knew that he was lying. Taking his comment to mean that he was going to give in and do the right thing of showing her the way out she followed with a "Thank you".
She gave a low whimper when he snapped his teeth at the little girl. Watching with wide eyes she watched as he proceeded to get off from on top of her. Had the girl worked a miracle and she was going to go free?
She gave another whimper as instead he grabbed her by the scuff. Not wanting to cause damage to herself or be torn apart she gave into him, head lowered in submission, fumbling with her feet to keep herself on them as best as possible.

"I'm not helping you, #*(%tard," Eir snarled the obscenity over his shoulder at the girl. She didn't think he'd eat people? Fine, she'd get a pleasant little surprise when they got back to his kill. He could already smell the blood.
"Hurry it up," he snarled at the Ace. "If you don't keep up with me, I'll rip your *#(%ing head off right now, meal be ^&$@ed." The stallion was certainly not going to censor himself for a stupid little kid that go off and #*(% herself right now for all he cared. Though the kid probably should not know anything about that. Not that it mattered to him, but wotever. It was so not his problem.
They were nearing the carcass and Eir breathed in the scent with pleasure. Finally, he could finish eating. It was about bloody time.

Vespera was not daunted by this cussing. He probably just did not know any better, she thought to herself with a little shrug. Her papa had always said that it was like that with some people, they just did not have loving families like her own. And that was why she was special. Oh yes.
Following dutifully behind the Ace and the equine she waved her three tails back and forth, humming a small tune to herself that she had heard her sister play on Elektra before.
The Ace nodded her head a little too quickly a few too many times when the equine told her to keep up. She was not going to disobey his orders on a simple whim. There was enough positive reinforcement trained into her to know how to keep her life. Ears back, her body tense, and her tail tucked between her legs she crawled forward.

The stallion fortunately had no idea what the three-tailed fox was thinking; if he had a clue he would have done his level best to disabuse her of the notion that his cussing was from ignorance. At this point, it hadn't yet occurred to him that here was a Card-- yes, a young girl and yes, still a child-- who actually wanted to be in his presence. That had happened. . . in probably his entire life.
Perhaps it would finally sink in that there was someone willing to put up with him, but, for now, he was a lot more interested in the meal that had slowly been getting colder. He snorted as he caught the scent of meat and suddenly remembered that he should tell the Ace to stop or the stupid thing would bolt when it saw the carcass.
"Wait there," he snarled over his shoulder to the Ace and maybe the girl if she was still there. He would rip quickly into the remains of the Card to finally ease his hunger.
