Update as of 11/16
Hi guys. Just thought I'd post a longer update as to what's going on with me.
My wrist will be in this cast until Dec. 20, at which point it will be removed without a doubt. The question is whether or not I'll get another cast, which won't be determined until this one is off. If I get another cast I'll have it until I get back from winter break - i.e., January 25th or somesuch. Which is through both Christmas and my Birthday and would be... less than fantastic, but better than hurting my wrist again.
I'm not in a whole lot of pain but it's the same usual awkwardness about having a cast. My skin keeps insisting on peeling underneath it and I've resorted to using the blunt end of a plastic knife in order to get under there. >>; I won't go into detail in case skin-peely-ness grosses anyone out.
In other news, my life is incredibly hectic. I have schoolwork up the wazoo and a lot of extra work for work - I have to do employee evaluations as a student manager, and scheduling is coming up soon, and they're literally doing an overhaul of the entire operation so every time I go into work I usually get either a) yelled at for doing something wrong or missing something I should have noticed or b) they change something on me and I spend half my work shift adjusting. I also have taekwondo testing coming up in December as well (Yes, I'm by golly testing even with a bum wrist!) and oh hey, there's Thanksgiving in there somewhere as well.
I'm trying to post - I'm doing my best to keep my one measly ticket-plot-thread going - but please don't be mad at me if I don't get to anything else for some time. My muses here aren't as strong as I wish they were. I'm metaphorically drowning in a lot of ways so sending me random pictures of kittens doing strange thing is always appreciated.
Much love. <3

Oh wow, that does sound rough Greenie. No worries, all right? I hope you don't need another cast after that one comes off.

I really hope you don't have to have another cast. No one wants to spend the holidays in one of those things. Good luck with school, kick ass and take names.
And I will make sure to send you kitten spam at some point. :3

Awwwww... poor Greenie! I hope your wrist heals up just fine, but if you need another one, I hope it it's less awkward and itchy. Also, I have heard that the little plastic school rulers that grade-school kids use are FANTASTIC for scratching itchy spots in casts, just, you know, in case you need to try a different utensil... >.>;;
Get better soon!

*takes sand paper to your arm to hheeeelllppppp*
CONGRATULATIONS GREENIE!!
Doesn't your arm feel like a frikkin skeleton? XD I hate that about casts. The limb underneath feels so frail and weak for awhile after the cast is taken off.
