Notes: The amount of feathers on this girl is amazing! All of them are plush, silky smooth, and have yet to develop the size and richness of color and patterns they will upon adulthood. Her mask needs to be worn at all time as she is highly allergic to natural air and needs to breathe natural bog gasses, filtered and simulated by her mask. She does not yet have a secret...she is Avington enough that she could develop one later in life...



Basic Magical Ability: She can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to twenty-five minutes.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that she picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can inflict mental pain on another Card of the Suit of Diamonds, once per day. The degree of pain is akin to a spear slicing through the torso. It begins with a sharp, stabbing pain, followed by the incredibly strange feeling of a foreign body lodged in the chest. This pain lasts for up to two minutes. Cards of greater rank are better able to ignore the sensation.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to fifteen minutes, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control would be almost perfect, except that the victim slowly sprouts small pin feathers from their pores. This goes from barely noticeable to starkly strange. They all fall out after the ability stops.
Jack's Ability: She is able to, once a week, cause another Card or equal rank or less, to lose all of their teeth and begin salivating at an incredible rate for a full 5 minutes.

Notes: This amazingly gorgeous girl has an elongated torso, even though she has no actual Snake in her. Her mask is only necessary once a week or so to keep her bloodstream healthy, otherwise, she is the fittest of the small group.

Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that she picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can inflict mental pain on another Card of any suit, once per day. The degree of pain is akin to being flogged across the back and shoulders with a bull whip. The pain begins sharply, suddenly, and with no warning. It can be held for up to five minutes or forty lashes, whichever comes first. Face Cards can ignore the sharpest pains, but Cards ranked Ten or lower find using their arms or running to be a true chore during this time.

Notes: This poor little Feline is a genuine Midget, smaller than most Mouse Cards with incredibly stunted limbs. Running is hard for him and even though his sense of hearing is nigh on painfully impeccable, his small stature is a snide form of life laughing at him.
But aside from this is a far more worrying problem.
This little cat has the exact same markings as one of the previous Kings; Pravus the dungeon-keeper. They are perfectly aligned with the previous King, and some old hands will recognize it painfully and implicitly upon seeing him.
He has a deliciously lovely little mean-streak...though he'll never insult his sisters or parents...and if you insult or hurt them he'll come after you as fast as his tiny legs can carry him. He idolizes his father and is curious about the man he apparently looks just like.



Basic Magical Ability: He can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to fifteen minutes.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can inflict mental pain on another Card of the Suit of Spades, once per day. The degree of pain is akin to having a sharp blade slowly tear through the corner of the mouth, muzzle, beak flesh, etc. The ability can last from one to five minutes and will end when it feels as though the cheek has been fully sliced through to the ear or appropriate approximate.

He wears the common robes of the priesthood, though he has a special incense burner set up on the hood to invigorate his spiritual side and mind.
Highly intelligent and well-schooled in basic knowledge and other religions since he was four, he's bright, quick, and inquisitive.

Like many others from the Fjords, apart from Aces, he does not believe Rank matters. He would be shocked to find out the opinions of the outside world.







Basic Magical Ability: He can go three days without needing to sleep, however; he has trained himself well in this ability and is able to (with two hour power naps every ten hours) stay awake for a full two weeks, before getting a full night's rest, should he choose.

Seriously though, Imagine her with a basket of kitten babies.

*ahems* The little snake-corgi looks so adorable. I enjoy all of her red and how she has so little yellow. I picture her in adorable little sweaters because of her note.

The feather baby is quite... quite feathery! I enjoy how her mix or regions resulted in her interesting pattern. I wouldn't expect that mix to look that way. Really pretty result.

Long cat is is adorably awkward. XD And I am amused that she has no actual snake in her and happens to be the most physically fit of the litter. She's such a pretty mix of regions.

MUNCHKIN KITTY! *cracksup* You know in real life I find munchkin cats rather disturbing, but he's kind of adorable. And I find it terribly funny that he has a mean streak. An angry midget cat who is going to freak out several people in the courts *pinches his cheeks.*

That shade of green is absolutely lovely, and she's rather elegant in that dress.

Oh wow. That is an utterly beautiful colorful baby. <3 And she looks so cute in her sleeping position.

I have to say the tiny bit of Morganberry in the baby really adds a wonderful touch. The fins are also terribly adorable.

Smoke wings! So awesome. X3 and the baby just looks so sweet and innocent.

I really love the Priest's tail in his bipedal form. And the fact that he has an incense burner in his hat is... epic. His mastery of language is also awesome. I can't wait until he finds out what the Outside world thinks of rank.

I actually forgot that I'd helped set these guys up until I read your note. xD I was all "oh crap, why didn't Nat ask me to help her with the setup?! this must have taken so much of her day, blarg!" before I went "oh" and hushed.

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, but... <3 Corgi-snake makes me happiest of the bunch, I think. Feathersplosion has such weirdly pretty colors. Long cat is very, very long. And Pravus-lookalike from non-related child is delicious.

Ilana is a lovely lady with a beeeeeautiful tail.

Sleeping kitten is my favoritest baby of the lot in terms of sheer omg-aesthetics. HAY PALE. YOU FEEL LIKE A CRADLE ROBBER YET? REDHEAD WITH TWIXIES KITTY. Kitty McFish-Pup is a beautiful girlie. And the intensity of the beautiful Sorgaire colors on Smokewing is worthy of note.

And then there's my dear, dear Vanja. Ohhhh. I have been so very looking forward to him. Staring at his images, I am struch by the sudden and overwhelimg urge to PLAY HIM NOW OMG. I want to indulge this muchly. ;___;

Flailed over the cute of the first breeding already, but.. .damn... they're still amazing to see again. They're all bloody adorable... but feathersplosion is still the one my eyes go to first. Cannot wait to see how those feathers look when she's older!

Ah, Ilana... why are you sooooo beautiful? Tavor is one lucky man, that's for sure. I absolutely love the little touches of green speckles on the white dress.... it pulls it all together and makes her look that much more lovely <3

These are some of the cutest babies I've seen on the board to date, seriously. Pale and Viola popped some adorable little spawn. The way the slithery girl is looking over her shoulder, the FEATHER EXPLOSION, the elongated girl with her simple Bog and Highland streaks, the sweet-looking Pravus xerox with his pain ability to give those who offend him a psychic Glasgow grin. Speaking of which--did ALL of them inherit Pravus nuttery through some old Court magic or something? XD Those of them that have enough rank for a pain ability have insane pain ability. They'd be perfect little torturers.

The Nova/Lariel babies are also friggin' lovely. The little red ball of fluff just makes me want to scratch behind those cute Lynxy ears. That second girl is going to be a hottie. Her FINS. Yegads. The boy just makes me think of water, seriously. Like some artistic scene with bubbles, an underwater photograph. That somehow has wings? I dunno. There's a metaphor in there somewhere.

As for the adults! Ilana looks gorgeous (so much greeeeeeen; Bee liiiiiikes) and Jenn's new fellow looks like he has an AMAZING chance at being an extremely lulzy character to read. I love his face in biped form. He looks so...knowing and wise, like the first words out of his mouth are going to be something like, "Yes, grasshopper, I understand."

Ok, so, I know I'm totally late in replying to this, and also that I did gush at you on the phone, but I figure that since I keep coming back to stare some more I might as well make some words come out about my UTTER and COMPLETE glee.

GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Vio and Pale's babies just... delight me in so many different ways. I love how strongly Vio's Highlands influenced them, and how much Pale's Caracal blamfed all over. Then there are the other, more subtle parental influences, and the magical items, and aaaaa so much love.

Corgicatsnake is just... ohmagahd she is PRECIOUS. She looks a little timid, almost, especially with that backward-glance and the one paw ever so slightly raised. As much as her little legs are terribly short, I've met a corgi or two, and they're like little sausage-rockets when they get going! As an aside, this girl's red markings are just stunning. @_@ Such amazing color on her.

EEEE FEATHERS AHAHAHAHAHA

What love Jenn has for fur, I has for feathers. I love feathery things. I love things with more feathers than they should ever have. Amazingly colored-and-patterned feathers? Yeah, even better, f'reals. I love the little tangle of mane, and her CRAZYASS MASK (little nosehorn HEE HEE), and the contrast provided to her by her tree is just... a delight. An absolute delight. I cannot wait to explore her own little weird, and to play her with her lovely siblings. <333

As strange a mix it might be, Highland/Bog has made me love twice now, first with Jak's weird, and now with this brilliant little girl. The red adds something quite nice to the Bog colors, I think, and that's really obvious with this baby. Her MANE! Gah, it just looks incredibly lovely. I also love the flow of her ears, and those incredible tufts. <3<3 Pretty, pretty baby.

MIDGET CAT HAHAHAHA. Dude. XD I admit, I can't wait to see this boy in his biped - he's probably going to be mistaken for a kitten for... pretty much always, isn't he? The Pravus-markings combined with his own little set of weird head problems makes me smile quite a bit, and again - he's got that ear thing rocking, except combined with the rest of his little, it's even more adorable. <33

Awww, such a gorgeous lady... <33 You've put an amazing grace into her pose and expression, and I /love/ her dress. The delicate little swirls on it are absolutely stunning.

Oh, gosh. @_@ I knew this breeding would be wonderful from the lines, but with color, they're just... aaaa. That little kitten thrills me. The combination of Sorgaire patterns in Morganberry colors is absolutely beautiful, especially with how striking and vivid her colors are! I love the little freckly-bits. <3<3 The second's facemask is set off by the highlights in her fins in a most awesome way, and I really like the almost 'hawk-ish fwip of hair she's got. The canine face with the big old ears is also quite nice. And the last, awwww. I love how tame his mane is, when compared to his sister and father's, and the smoke wings is a fun touch. Really brings out how fire-and-ice this breeding was.

WATTIS. WATTIS, I WOULD BLOW YOUR CUTE LITTLE BRAIN, WOULDN'T I?! Wow. Wow. Like everyone else, I was really looking forward to seeing Caloo in the flesh, so to speak, and this boyo does not disappoint. I love that you've made up for the less-vivid markings/base colors with incredible decorative effects, the gold highlights stand out wonderfully again the rest of him. I love his mane, too, and the look in his eyes is just... perfect.
