Ticket contest clarification.

I just want to make sure everyone has the right idea about this contest.

The burdened and mutation tickets I know you all understand.

As to the deluxe, regular, and dangerous; I've had some questions.


I just want to make sure you know that this contest is going to be two huge board-wide plots that will forever affect the world.

Buying the latter three tickets will get you involved in this plot and hopefully give your characters new direction.
There will also be (ONLY for ticket contest users) random item drops, random curses, plot-oriented gains of pets friends and foes, and random raising or DROPPING of rank in some cases.

I just don't want people thinking that by buying 5 dangerous tickets and 5 deluxe tickets, they'll suddenly have 8 new pictures and 3 new characters.
You only get new pictures and characters through the burdened tickets.
The mutation tickets will get you a sketch of what has happened (like in the Halloween contest two years ago) but not a re-draw of their image.
More likely than not; you'll get some awesome new powers, bring about mass chaos, and get some points or powers out of it.
Nothing else.
If anyone wants to re-think it, I spoke with someone yesterday who had rather the wrong idea.
Feel free to edit your ticket slots all you like if you want to withdraw or drop some tickets, or add more.

I've spent the past week mapping out the connections for the mini-plots to make them big plots and there is quite a way to go yet, I'm abut halfway done.
I also spent it drawing the burdened ticket children so you can all have them right away.
I need to color them this coming week as well as continue mapping the plot connections and readying the NPCs.

This contest will last for three months and then come to a close whether your thread has finished or not.
It will be wrapped up and then everyone will be shown WHAT THEY HAVE BROUGHT ABOUT! BWAHAHAHA!
It will open in the beginning of November and run until early February, just so that everyone still has time to play with this, and still exist. <3
I am taking a break from ANY and ALL commissions for the month of November so that I can run the ticket contest and also participate in NaNoWriMo. <3

Geeze. *shakes her head* How you manage to juggle RL, and school, and everything you've got there...and still manage to be an insanely awesome admin is beyond me.

Part of me is going "Ooooh!" at the idea of a board-wide plot. The rest of me is going, "Ha, right" at that part of me, because I know that I have nowhere near the activity responsibility. Instead I shall read and watch and glee at what happens with all of it. <3

So, everything for the ticket contest is nearly set up.

Just a few more of the babies to color (yes, I drew them all ahead of time on good faith, please don't ditch them...they love you.) You'll be getting them all nearly right off the bat and then I'm hoping to start up this weekend!

As soon as you've paid (which I'll open the option of tomorrow.), I will set up thread openers allllll across the board in various areas. These boards will have the people who are to play in them together listed in them and will have an "opening post" with either NPCs or a description to jump off of.
You will each be PM'd with a list of links to the posts for you and whoever else you're playing with. Some of them might even have little sketches to better show you what you've got in front of you.

To some questions I've gotten:

1. Can I invite other people to play in the thread with myself and others in the ticket contest if the person I'm inviting is not in the contest?
Yes. They will not, however, get any of the benefits that could happen. People participating in the contest will be receiving random item and power drops, magics, and fun critters. People not in the contest can play and gain points, but will not be included in these extra things. MAJOR plots points will also be specified ahead of time to no outsiders, though I encourage everyone to browse them as the end results will DRASTICALLY alter some bits of the board. <3

2. What about posting order? If I'm in a thread and no one responds, what do I do?
If you're playing with someone in a thread, you may feel free to DISREGARD POSTING ORDER.
However, there are some rules to doing this.
One - you may not do it if there are only two people in a thread.
Two - while you may disregard the order and continue playing with the people who are active, you MAY NOT play "for" the other person. Meaning, that you will have to accidentally or on purpose "lose" the slow player and they can have their character catch up later when they can play.
Three - while skipping posting order, if the person who is being"slow" asks you to wait a REASONABLE amount of time (which here will be 3 days or less) for them to respond, and you ignore their request. They can report you and your character will be reprimanded. This ONLY APPLIES if the plot is getting thicker, not for general conversation. (ie: If the characters are in the Capital snooping around, skip away. If they're talking to the big boss and he's giving them the ultimatum...try to wait for them, please. Use your best discretion).
Four - if you're playing and no one in the whole thread is responding to you, PM me and your character will have their plot re-tied to a more active one.
