Conall cackled at the boy's remark. "Take that you stupid waste of space!"
He honestly didn't expect the boy to headbutt him. Bite him or kick him, sure, but not head but him in the stomach. He let out a shriek as he fell backwards. The metal scythes made a horrible screeching sound when they grazed the marble.
Conall flailed for a few moments in an attempt to kick the boy somewhere. He didn't deserve this, of all things. He may have sad a few nasty things, but he hadn't done anything physical to the other boy. Why would he deserve this?
He shouldn't have been as surprised as he actually was.
What was surprising was the shriek that ran through the hallway.
Castiel had arrived on the scene to see the headbutt. She was a loving girl, yes, and she did love her siblings. But she didn't love them more than she loved one of her closest and oldest friends. She knew how many people disliked him, and she knew that whatever he had done he didn't deserve to be headbutted for it.
"Stop that!" She yelled as she came running towards the pair. She had every intention of grabbing her brother by the ears to get him off of Conall.

Castiel's shout caught Caith off guard, saving Conall from an angry nip, but instead the little feline got nailed under the chin by one of Conall's flailing feet. Caith jerked back, biting his own tongue, just in time to be caught by Castiel. The human, however delicate in comparison to the feline, would easily be able to drag Caith off though he shook himself out of her grip after the throbbing pain faded a bit.
Ow.
He stood away from the pair, his fur puffed up at odd angles, and glared as he tried to form words to express his rage. None came. He could only shake and dwell on the fact that it was Castiel who had come to Conall's aid. His own flesh and blood had betrayed him, again.
He hissed at the girl instead and stuck out his sore tongue defiantly before storming away all together. Fine. They could have their happy family. He didn't care. He could go to the Capital and easily find a nice, willing 'sibling' that wouldn't turn on him. That would make things better... at least for a little while.

Castiel watched in dismay as her sibling stormed off. She would have followed after him if she wasn't worried about Conall, who seemed to be crying. That was something that she had never seen the boy do, and her brother seemed like he would be fine.
Conall was crying quite a bit. He hurt, and he had managed to land awkwardly on his back. The stupid mutation that he had caused so many problems with him sleeping, and now it was even causing him more pain.
He didn't notice that he managed to hit Caith, and he didn't stop crying until the young girl had managed to pull the other boy away. When she did so he managed to slide away, the blades on his back scratching along the marble floor. He was still rather pitiful and sobbing as he tried to collect himself in front of the girl. He was grateful that she silently waited for him.
Suits. At least someone liked him.
