After he'd released the ball of air, he took the time he had to shift down to his Bipedal form; if the damn cat came at him again he'd meet him with tooth and claw as well. He started to get up, his side burning where those fangs had cut him but he resisted the urge to touch them. And then the feline was making a bee line at him as soon as he'd recovered, using more of that trademark speed. He did the only thing he could think off and used his own suits trademark ability and went up(13). The cat caught his tail and knocked him a bit off balance, but he managed to twist in a way that aloud him the opportunity to get in another kick at the feline as he passed (18). He was going for a low blow, that would definitely make him happy, but he'd take whatever he could get before he landed back on the ground.

There, there! "Mirai!" Neviah bleated her sister's name, before realizing that a really big Lowlander was heading towards them. She tried to duck the kick, but it scuffed her over, causing her to tumble in a dazed, little pile.
It would seem like everything exploded into action, but, in truth, the girls felt as thought they'd been dropped from one baffling situation into another. Like the last one, this one was also a nightmare. From dead bodies to living dead bodies as they appeared to be surrounded by Lowlanders.
Neviah was too distracted by looking for her sister to even truly note these changes, but when the Torque screamed at them to run, Fate awkwardly tried to tug at the little deer and get her to move. She tried to tell Nevi that they weren't safe, they were Josiggy, for the sake of all the trees in the Marshes, and no matter where the silly girl's loyalties actually lay, no one would give them a chance to explain.
But, alas, the desperation of the situation did not magically give the girl the ability to speak again. She made hooting and hollow sounds, but no words escaped. She couldn't leave her here to die! Nevi and Mirai, for all that they seemed to hate the Raiders, were essentially family!
Fate desperately tugged again at Nevi's tail, but the girl only shook her head blearily. Neviah was going to reach her sister!

Thank god, the Rotter had fallen for it! Kristoff continued to run dead on, glad that the man had though he was planning an attack, desperate to just get the hell out of dodge. Little girls and Torque be damned, they could screw themselves for all the feline cared. All he wanted to do was get back to the Marsh, to home, to a bigass bowl of Meecha's delicious gumbo and --
"RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLL!!!![/b]"
The foot connected squarely with his backside, going up between the legs and hitting squarely where they connected, near the base of his broken tail. The sound the feline made was at least an octave higher than it should have been. Pain blossomed behind Kris's eyes and he went tumbling, head over feet, coming to land in a pained and enraged heap a few few away. "F'AT'FTH FIGHTIN' DIRTY,[/b]" he hissed and spat, tears welling in his eyes. "FEK YOU, FEKKIN PUFFY![/b]"
The desire to get revenge warred with the desire to get the hell out before his jewels were completely destroyed, and for a moment, the Cat did not move. Then, he turned tail and attempted his previously aborted retreat.

The kick hurt his toes a bit when it connected, but the rush of pride he felt when it did cause a huge, toothy grin to spread over his maw. Well, at least one of his dear old mother's philosophies had proven true. If all else fails, kick them where it counts. Of course, he wouldn't give the rat the satisfaction of knowing that, on occasion, he did actually listen to him.
When the cat screeched, flipped and landed it was all too much, and the weasel/rat burst into laughter as he watched the icky old Golfam try and regain himself. Of course it was fighting dirty, he knew that way before he even decided to put foot to jewels. As a response though, he pulled down on one of his eyes, stuck his tongue out and hoisted his middle finger up at the feline, hoping to add a little insult to injury with the childish display.
That's it, run you little pansy ass.
With one cat taken care of, he turned his attention over to Cale and the Tourquehelm, amusement still an undertone to his threat.
Hey tri-pod, why don't you make like your ugly buddy and make a run for it.

Menefer had watched the small battle between the two and hoped that Kristoff would have won, and yet... the other did have a human form and was a king atop of that. He planted all four legs (Bindings removed in a previous thread: Whatever she wanted. Didn't lose white wings on back though) and looked to the man before him, and the female that had come too. He didn't want to lose his life, and probably knew that they had some rather nasty spells if they wanted to use them on him.
Crap! What to do what to do! he thought as he quickly tried to figure out what to do. The two girls that had come with them seemed to know someone here, and that might help as well, but he just couldn't leave them. He had to make sure that they would be ok. The girl without the glass seemed to be in her right state of mind, and the other seemed quite petrified.
With a grin on his face he looked to Cale and the woman, "I ever so hope to see you again, Cale." he said then as he turned back to the two girls, "Run small one!" with that said he activated his spade ability and quickly attempted to snag up the girl in his mouth on the nape of her neck, so that he could follow after Kristoff.
(rolled for grabbing on the back of the neck: 11)

((Cale gave the Torque a small sneer, and watched out of the corner of his eye as Morpheus battled the fanged Golfam. Hell, they'd better be able to best these damn Cats. Think of it, two high-ranked nobles, bested by Animal-formed vermin? No, thanks. He'd been about to turn back to the Cat when he was hit by a near-crippling wave of hunger. "W-what?!" He yelped, nearly gagging as his entire body rebelled, demanding he eat something. He stumbled backwards after slashing at the Cat on impulse and missing horribly (4). Seeing as he tripped over something on his way back. "Fecking idiots!" He shrieked, as his sword-tip snapped off in the dust. The Golfam nearly slammed into him, his gut snarling in cramping pain as he rolled away from the bulk of the slave-trader and whipped out at him, cutting a rather distinctive and jagged "F" into the Feline's flank before rolling back upright, pushing the thoughts of the desperate hunger to the back of his mind (15), and whipping around to find his quarry.
He was momentarily shocked to see another Lowlander, a tall, Weasel-looking thing, standing behind him...before he recognized the frilly purple jacket and green hair. The Golfam seemed to be limping away and Cale snarled, doubling up and then forcing himself upright. "Morpheus, I'm hit; get them! Don't let them leave! Fly, if you must!" He yelled, ignoring and rushing past Viast, and taking a swing down at the Golfam's face (19) as he activated his own Spade ability in order to catch up to the Torque. Sword raised, he flicked it out at the Josiggy Deer, neatly clipping off her back paw and scruffing her. He would let Morpheus take care of the other two. Dragging the little Deer back to the party, he hurled her into the dust, clutching his stomach and side in pain as he panted. "What do you want, Viast!?" He snarled, as the Heifer moved herself directly in front of him. "They're kids, Cale!" "And in just a few years, they'll be adults!" He retorted, swinging his blade at her and causing her to shriek and leap back. "Stupid, cowardly, murdering, useless, adults! Why not stop it, now?" He turned to swing down at the Deer.))

(( This may be short, Spawn is freaking and i need to do some errands, SORRY. ))
There was so much yelling and leaping and swinging that Fate was thoroughly baffled on even which way to try to run. She shoved at Nevi, finally getting the girl to move, but too late realized that the deer was moving towards all of the Lowlanders. Nevi! You idiot! Fate let out a cry, but the soft, chiming sound was lost in the midst of the fight.
Something grabbed her from the back of the neck, but. . . she was entirely made out of glass. Unless Menefer crunched down, something that could actually break her, the girl was forced to slide back to the ground. She flailed her legs unhappily.
Neviah was only peripherally aware of someone snatching at Fate; if she could just get to Mirai, everything would be all right. She just knew it.
Pain flowed sharp and immediate up through her leg, and Neviah stumbled as her paw, her only paw, her best link to Mirai was smoothly removed from her body. She gave a low cry of pain, too surprised to think. She looked up, but someone grabbed her, dragging her through the dirt. The pain, oh, trees and secrets, the pain! Despite herself, Nevi blacked out for a second, coming to with the sight of her severely bloated sister still too far away. Mirai, she tried to say, but all that came out was a low groan.

Cale wouldn't have to ask him twice to take care of that torque cat whilst he caught up to the golfam. He didn't have speed like that, but when he turned around.... fate, literally and figuratively, seemed to give him the very best of ways to get both the feline and one of the awful little children as well.
He waited, tail twitching as he had to wait for just the right moment to activate a particular ability that could, potentially, do quite a bit of damage. He judged the torquehelm feline's actions correctly, and when he went to grab the scruff of the obviously glass child's nape, like a fool, might he add.... you can't grab glass like that! He knew it was time.
He maintained a safe distance and concentrated on Fate, his heart racing with delight as he was about to test this ability on living, breathing glass!
Hey Ugly.... how about a mouth full of this?!
The instant the ability activated, the little Jossigy would most likely burst apart with a horrible noise that would affect everyone in the vicinity, except for him of course, as he laughed in sadistic glee. Glass peices of what was formerly a little jossigy bursting outward from her former.... form. Now this.... this was fun!
Hopefully the cats close vicinity to the glass deer would cause him a nice amount of damage in the process!
He heard absolutely nothing Viast was saying.... nothing at all.
Moderate Ability: He is now able to cause glass constructs (ie: windows, vases, figurines) to explode without warning, once per month. The glass will all explode outward with a rather large amount of force and the sound will be painful to all except the caster. He is also able to shatter glass weapons that aren't magical, but magical glass may give him some trouble or even...backfire...

((To all in the thread. Good Lord. The girl explodes. ViolentlyMenefer will receive 2 odd, twisted glass spikes to his forehead as he falls back, the force of the blast blowing him backwards faster than the shrapnel. Though he thumps onto his side, he doesn't seem too badly injured...until a horrible pain begins to split his head. Writhing with agony, his entire scalp and skull burn as they change! The feathery feelers on his forehead are capable of recognizing the scent of anyone he meets...whether they've covered it magically or not... The blast roils backwards toward Morpheus, knocking everyone off their feet, no exception, and smashing the Diamond Queen into the side of a building with enough force to addle his senses for a few seconds.)) ~Nathalia

He puffed up in pleasure .... until he realized that something had gone horribly wrong with the spell. His eyes widened in the realization that there was a wave of destruction heading back his way, knocking over everyone in it's path, that was headed directly for him ... and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. He just stood in wide-eyed terror, there wasn't really anywhere to run so... .why bother?, that seemed to last an eternity but was really only a few moments. And then.... it hit him... hard.
He grunted when it hit him, feeling the ground be swept out form under his feet as he flew involuntarily backwards. The wave knocked him into the side of a building, first his back, then his head .... knocking the wind out of him as well as making him see stars for a moment. His head wobbled in a rather drunken manner as he tried to regain his senses, the absolutely terrified, loud, feminine voice in his head only adding to his discomfort.
Nooooooo! Morpheus! No no no no! Are you alright?! Please be alright! Talk to me!
all he could do in response to the terribly worried demon was groan as his head still swam from the impact. Bloody... hell he hadn't expected that.
