(( OOC: SHE WOULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE. @_@; anyway, feel free to jump this. I'll probably be quick to respond since Peaches is very loud and annoying.)) Peaches was bored. Actually she was doing her best to avoid all of her problems at the present moment, so she was pretending to be bored. It was a usual sort of "day off" from work. As in she had disappeared to avoid doing her job, and possible hear some decent sort of gossip. But there wasn't a bit of gossip to be heard. What was a girl to do if she had nothing to do to distract her? She pouted as she walked along the busy streets. Wasn't there someone out there interesting? Something out there that could keep her attention for more than five minutes? Briefly she bounced on her heals in annoyance. Maybe she should just cause a bit of trouble? It was close to evening and the night life would be showing up soon, she supposed. Boring. Bored. Boooooriiiiing. She went to hopping from one stone shape to another. No one seemed to take notice of her. She twirled for a moment to avoid someone in her path and went back to skipping the stones with an actual display of grace.

There wasn't anything too terribly out of the ordinary today; Karrock was able to walk through the streets with a relative amount of freedom, a red cloak covering much of his face and his body so as not to unnerve those around him. He'd managed to get off work early due to the business being slow, and he was ready to take his week's earnings and go do a bit of shopping. Perhaps he should buy a new little pet to have around? Things had gotten terribly lonely since his chihuahua passed away some years ago. He puzzled over this as he walked, nearly passing by a familiar sight. Then he paused, turning around to see the vaguely familiar face of a heart noble. Peaches.. wasn't it? He couldn't remember her rank for the life of him though. Pausing, he watched the odd sight. His aunt had described this woman as 'crazy' more than once, and while Karrock watched the woman jump around as she was doing, he found that he was able to come to that same conclusion. Should he... say something? Would she even remember him?

Hop. Jump. Skip! Peaches continued to find the similar stones as she slowly moved forward. There were a few people staring, but none of them looked interesting to talk to.
Until she saw red out of the corner of her eye. She continued to skip as she turned her head to look at whoever or whatever it was. A person? Someone covered in a completely red cloak was looking at her. Huh. Did she know anyone who would run around like that? Not off the top of her head.
But that didn't mean she couldn't investigate.
In mid hop she spun on her heal and changed her direction. Now she was walking more normally as she approached the figure. When she stopped in front of him she made a curious noise.
They weren't built like anyone she could remember. She tilted her head curiously. "Hello! I saw you staring and I couldn't help but wonder if you wanted something, Little Red Riding Hood."

Oh- oh shit! He looked around to see if there was anyone around him that she'd be looking at instead of him, but that clearly wasn't the case as she began to make her way toward him. Should he just... run away? He had half a mind to, but he didn't make that decision fast enough because she was already standing over him.
Little Red Riding Hood? He gave a nervous giggle, unsure of exactly what to make of that comment. "Oh ah... You looked familiar is all. You probably don't remember me. I used to live in the Court of Hearts with my brother and my Aunt. You might remember her.... Viola?" Aw hell, it sounded so stupid when he said it. Why would she remember some reject orphan spawn that Viola kept holed away anyways? Goodness knows this woman had other things to worry about... like bright shiny things and candy if her personality said anything about her priorities.

Peaches eyebrow quirked upward as the boy spoke. That was one heck of voice, and one heck of a "I'm not sure what gender you are" giggle. Either way she remained poised over the boy.
Viola? He was one of the kiddos that had killed Lani? Her other eyebrow quirked upwards.
"You're the ward of the adorable little candy coated serpent Viola?" She hermed for a long few moments. Perhaps she should pretend she didn't remember at all? But why cut such a chance meeting short. She was bound to find out interesting things. "I'm afraid I don't remember your name. Then again I don't know which one you are since I can't see your face, Red Riding Hood, so I could remember your name. Of course you're probably covered up for a good reason, no point in making you feel uncomfortable."
The scary one had a name that began with... what was it? Bah. She couldn't remember.
"I'm Peaches, since I can't remember your name I won't assume you remember mine."

How very astute of her! Karrock found herself liking this crazy woman, for all that she seemed to have such an interesting flavor of common sense even if her execution of it was questionable.
"Well it's been a while since I've been in the Courts, but that's what I thought I'd remembered it being! It's quite nice of you to extend that sort of thoughtfulness though. I wouldn't doubt you don't know me. I didn't get out much or... at all, really. My name is Karrock.:
Like an excited little fan, his tail swished behind him excitedly. Sure, he had to converse under the veil of a hood, but at the same time, he was able to hold a -conversation- with a heart noble without being stared at, sneered at or generally looked upon with a sense that they thought ill of him! It was quite likely a false hope of some flavor of acceptance, but if straws were the only think he could grasp at then he'd take them. "I've actually been thinking about coming and visiting, but I didn't know if... people from the Courts would want that or not."

Karrock? Karrock. OH! That one! It was the scary little child that hadn't been let out. She didn't know much about him to begin with. Interesting that Viola would let him run around on his own.
Of course you could never control a free spirit, huh?
She purred briefly as she listened to him. He was planning a visit to the courts, eh? Well that could go extremely well or extremely badly depending on how he dressed and who he ran into. Of course it was the court of Hearts which was filled with some of the strangest people in all of the realms. "Visiting the Courts is a much better idea now that someone somewhat sane is in charge. Of course it also depends on who you want to visit while you're there, if you're just say hello or just popping by to see the gardens. Each experience leads to a different outcome."
Peaches moved to the side to avoid someone running into her. "Perhaps we should move out of the path of traffic?"

(Hope it's okay for me to jump in =D) Bertram had been running through the dim alley ways of the Capital. Doggy bag in his mouth he gave a small leap hurdling over a broken flower pot that lay ahead of him with ease. He found that these alleys turned a lot, somewhat like that of a snake. Rounding the next corner he noticed that there was an opening to the street. Scanning his surroundings he looked for the nearest opening. It did not take long for him to find this opening and he started rushing to wards it. Then unexpectedly something had appeared right in front of him. Eyes growing wide and little time to react he tried to jump over this person, but he had jumped a little to late and in a flash of red the canine was sent head over heels, and skidding to a painful stop.

(( OOC: <3 it's fine! I'm going out of order because I suck, hope you don't mind Nako. ))
Peaches should have been paying attention to what was around her. Normally she was able to catch collisions before they occurred, but this was far too unexpected for her to be able to react properly.
She squeaked with surprise and moved to the side, unable to grab Karrock to pull him out of the way. But from the looks of it the body skidded to a halt before it had a chance to hit either of them.
"What the hell?" Peaches said as she looked at the form of the crumbled canine. In true cat like fashion she poked the man lightly with the tip of her boot. He was alive, and squishy and he looked to be all right. He just needed to walk it off. "Not every day you have someone face plant the ground at seemingly random," she commented to no one in particular.
"Do you know first aid Karrock?"
