Kyarah paused..... she didn't think about where to go. She pondered, but then came up with nothing. "I don't know. Do you have anything in mind? I was thinking something relatively casual. Or we could just wander until something catches our eyes...". She sorted through her bag to be sure she hadn't lost anything. When she was confident she had everything, she lifted it onto her back and looked back up to Colin. She watched his movements and noticed the elegance in them. She wondered if he was raised in a wealthy family. Maybe their families knew one another. Hers had been well off until her mother died. Then the family sort of drifted. Their father didn't have the patience for her and her siblings, so he gave them all a split of the families wealth and they went their separate ways. Maybe she knew Colin in her childhood. Either way, her stomach was insisting that it was time for food.
**OoC: sorry about the delay, I've been really busy**

Colin shrugged slightly. "Well, if you don't mind a bit of a walk...there's a lovely little place down that way," he waved a wing towards the direction. "Casual, not too expensive, but really good food. And outdoor seating, which is nice for such a lovely day, I think." Unless, of course, the girl spent enough time outside that she'd rather be indoors. If so, though, the cardinal felt certain Kyarah would make her desires known. She wasn't really...shy. Not that a street performer could afford to be, really.
She also...looked very oddly familiar. Huh. Something about her build, or maybe her face...struck a chord of distant memory. Shaking his head, Colin decided to worry about it later. With a friendly smile, he began to walk-hop in the direction he'd indicated before, expecting her to follow or make a different suggestion.

Kyarah's stomach rumbled."That sounds great! I'm starving! I love the outdoors, and it's a really nice day so that sound perfect" Kyarah responded as she excitedly followed him. The walk to the restaurant was calm, she liked the lack of people in this area since it was getting later. It was still busy, but relaxed compared to the hustle that everyone usually seemed to have during the daytime. The few people she saw were moving at a steady pace, but a relaxed, slow one.
She had lived in the city long enough to know almost all of it like the back of her paw, but she got confused after zoning out for part of their walk then suddenly returning to full consciousness. Luckily, the area started to look more familiar after they walked a short while longer. She remembered that there was a restaurant her mother and she would eat at every time they went to the city that was in an area near some of the old buildings that she was seeing. Could it be the same one? It had been years since she had visited the city, and she didn't even know if that restaurant was still open. She didn't generally go to this part of the city, so it was hard for her to even tell if they were going that way. Ever since the accident she didn't go around this area much. It just made her uneasy. Oddly enough, she felt comfortable. She didn't question this and continued on toward the hint of food she smelled ahead.

Colin turned to nod smilingly at her as she responded positively to his suggestion, then turned and continued on his way. He led them with a confidence that spoke of either easy familiarity with the city or just a good memory for places. Which at this point in his life, he had a bit of both. The silence between the two as they walked didn't bother him, not that it was all that quiet with the sounds of the city as a backdrop, though it did seem to be a more...subdued and relaxed time of the day. Perfect. Colin liked his afternoons relaxed, but not to the point of indecency.
He pushed the door to the restaurant open with a wing, holding it for Kyarah as was only polite, and smiled at her, breaking the silence. "Well, this is the place. A little small, but still nice, in my opinion." He hopped inside, nodding his head to the waitress who approached them and offered to take their orders and would they like to sit inside or out on the patio?
"Outside, please, Miss," Colin said promptly, accepting a menu, and smiling at his companion as they were led to a table as per his requested preference. It really was nice to be out here in the fresh air, after all.
