Ez let out a small startled chirp when he heard a familiar voice. The sparrow had been focused on looking for one particular shop for the sake of a client. And the woman had given him horrible directions. If it wasn't for the mention of his father's name he probably wouldn't have noticed Neil.

He couldn't help but catch the harsh words that followed as he watched the Yarrow pin his adopted brother into a corner. His feather's flared and his talons teared into the paper he was holding. He wasn't about to hold back when some stupid bitch was threatening his brother and had insult his father.

Wings flared he stomped past the few people between him and the pair. "Who the fuck do you think you are you crazy bitch?" He yelled, not holding back at making a scene. The sparrow forced himself between the woman and Neil. The bright red K on his chest was all the confidence he needed. "Where the hell do you get off thinking you can insult my father The Queen of Diamonds and make an attempt on my brother's life? Get the fuck out of my sight before I make you regret being born!"

Unfortunately he never really thought about the small ability he had. As he continued to flair up at the female Yarrow.


Small Headband Ability: His eyes are now a brilliant purple, they sparkle in the light and look amazingly enticing and beautiful. Cards ranked 7 or lower will be astounded by the beauty of his eyes and will feel a desperate need to be in his company. Higher ranking Cards might be able to ignore the "pull" he exudes, but they will still feel hints of it.

Well, that just sucked. Although it figured that the little Yarrow male – Suits, it hurt to even to think that phrase – would need someone to fight his battles for him. Ursula wasn’t a fool though, and even though she had half lost her mind she wasn’t about to pick a fight with a King, despite the fact she found it hil-fucking-larious that these two were somehow related. Obviously they had picked the little useless pup out of the trash somewhere, after being shunned by his Yarrow heritage.

Still, she was foolhardy, and quite use to ignoring the tiny voice in her head that begged her to use common sense. “I don’t give a shit who – oh.”
He had really pretty eyes. They were all purple and sparkling, like those amethyst earrings she had wanted but could never hope to afford. She had a nagging feeling that this was wrong, that this guy was a complete ass, but she couldn’t do anything but look up at him, apparently stunned.

“You have beautiful eyes, you know,” she said, wagging her tail. “It’s a shame they’re all crinkled and angry.” About what, she only had the faintest idea...something about Neil, but she was having a hard time remembering.

Neil jolted, only recognizing Ez's approach when the sparrow yelled out but he immediately perked upon seeing him. "Ez!" The little diamond fox couldn't have been happier to see his 'brother'. Very few people had ever defended the him until he'd stumbled into the Giovanni family and the sight of it still left him overjoyed with surprise.

Except that now Ez was puffed up and yelling fiercely at the woman who, out of nowhere, seemed far more fixated on Ez's eyes than castrating him... oh, yeah... Neil remembered how pretty Ez's eyes were, how could someone be mad looking into them?

Snapping his thoughts back to the present moment, and Ez's rage, Neil whimpered thinly and reached out to lay a hand on Ez's back. "M-Maybe we should go? ...I didn't mean to cause trouble, Ez." The canine's tail wagged with nerves and he shifted, trying to ease to his feet and inch away from the Yarrow woman without being noticed.

His left eye twitched as he started at the woman. For a very long moment he had forgotten about his eyes. His anger was slightly deflated as he listened to Neil.

And people were staring. Awesome.

Ez cleared his throat and glanced down at the woman. He briefly rolled his eyes as he tried to regain some sense of composure. He was still pissed off. But yelling at someone who was infatuated by your eyes probably wasn't a good idea. This power was a pain in the ass sometimes. He glanced over his shoulder at Neil. "You didn't cause any trouble Neil. It's not your fault you happened to run into the one raging Yarrow feminist out on the street today," he muttered as he kept his wings unfolded to hide the Yarrow mix from sight.

The sparrow took a deep breath as he addressed the woman. "Ma'am. It would be wonderful if you allowed the pair of us to take our leave without much trouble. We both have places to be, and I'm sure you're the same way."
