Wooow! I...just...don't know...what to say... The vibrant colours, the details, the poses, the anatomy, the life and personality of the Easter pickups makes me want to begin to compose lyrical poetry. *o* I feel that I also need to echo Nako when I say that these are without a doubt some of your best work!
Even though Clara is now a Doe, she lacks the womanly curves that a female Leveret is supposed to develop upon advancing to this form. The poor girl looks gaunt with her fur and skin stretched so thinly over her bones you can clearly see them. With that being said, Clara does possess a certain loveliness. More than one body type exists in the world, and men are attracted to different women. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Roisin is such a darling! Being an Esterberry, she has an elegant pattern of violet spots and stripes that are emphasized prettily in the pose chosen for her.
Huzzah! Another bat! I adore bats; they deserve more love and respect than they get! <3 Blue‘s bat is creepy, but at the same time awesome! This Hisstor certainly won't need any bone ornamentation as his entire head is stripped of flesh and muscle. Macabre as the mutation may come across, having a face constructed only out of bones looks surprising attractive on him. Those slit baby blues of his are, as Xenon has described, hauntingly beautiful- a stark contrast between life and death in his face, reflecting the tragedy that had befallen him. You have definitely taken bat anatomy into account in his pose; there is no better example than his wings. The spread-out digits look like knuckles as he crouches down. Odd observation, I know, but that really stands out to me. I never expected a Card to show up among the Rabbits, but I'm glad this one did!
Ooh, I would've never imagined that a familiar which appears as fragile as the Ring Beast, in actuality is quite strong and fast. He'd make a useful beast of burden. I love his metallic colouring, similar to copper and sterling silver with inlaid emeralds. It's not too bright and extravagant, but it's not plain. It has a personality all its own.
You can tell Roisin and Najwa were sired by the same father. She has inherited the same pattern of Esterberry spots and stripes, yet has at least one noticeable difference- the markings beneath her eyes are dramatically highlights. But what really sets Najwa apart from her half-sister is the updo. Her lop ears are elegantly coiffed, framing her face and are clasped in place with a few very nice barrettes!
Gosh, the canine skull mace is a horrifying, yet fantastic weapon that you certainly wouldn't want used against you in a fight! I can't help but admire how organic it looks in comparison to standard weapons. The action of the canine skull mace itself depicted in the picture is excellent! You can just imagine it coiling, then lashing out to bite down and not let go until the limb is completely severed.
Dafina has grown up to be quite the stunning Doe! Having her traditional Torquehelm white wing markings sprout into a pair of real feathered wings is glorious! *_* Her curled whiskers increases her femininity, and her long, silky tail is plush. *resists the urge to pet it* Y'know, it's ironic that a bound Torquehelm is accessorized with glittering gold jewellery, but knowing who her father is, that is appropriate. She looks like a angel who's fallen from heaven to grace the earth with her presence!
Fleur had nothing to worry about! XD She has grown up to be a proper Doe, just like Seena. In fact, she is the spitting image of her mother, albeit with mane, Selkie fluffs and markings in a deeper shade of blue. The silver rings, earrings and ear cuffs are an exquisite touch. I love her face, too- she's either very bored or acting haughty. Poised and refined, Fleur is truly beautiful.
Mythril, Mythril, poor Mythril! I can't imagine what she must be going through right now. The troubled expression on her face, and the hunched posture are very telling signs of how haunted she is. It was documented in the information section about Realms that a Mid-Ranger's coat can become blood-stained over time due to the magical cut and an individual's upbringing. I had never seen this phenomenon occur until now. The transition of the crimson blood gradually fading from the cuts into her pale grey coat is flawless! And the scary Card Squirrel ghost is a tortured soul, seeking help from the wrong creature in order to cross over and find peace in the afterlife. My heart goes out to both of them. u_u
; Oh dear lord… a flesh-coloured monstrosity put together from many different Card hides that absorbs a Card or Rabbit into its body on contact, thereby creating a new "patch" of coloured flesh on its own hide (which by the way really add to its overall design brilliantly!). What’s worse, the poor, unfortunate soul is negatively affected with a deep-rooted psychological problem when-- if --disgorged. *shudders* I don't say this lightly: the Beast of Hides is inasmuch as terrifying and fascinating as a Homunculus! Who is going to be its next fashion victim?
Are you serious? This gorgeous Leveret is mine?! EEEE! Thank you! Thank you! She is one of the best-looking Sorgaire Rangers ever to grace the board. I just LOVE her design! <3 The monochrome colour scheme of blue was handled very well, especially with the navy and the white outlining some of her best features. Do I ever like those markings too! Was a white gel pen used to create those speckles? If so, the technique was utilized to great effect! I am particularly fond of her short ears, and her silver mane looks glossy and thick, real enough to run your fingers through. The way that lock of hair partially covers her eye adds a flair of mystery, as if she's hiding something. What a beauty! I can understand why her previous Jack had desired this Leveret so. Though I must admit I'm glad he's dead. (Bastard! ) Now I'm going to try to find her a nice Jack.
Ooooh, ChickenDino's catfish Leveret is good-looking fellow! What really gets me are the colours. The blue/green of his coat appears very slick, not only due to a set of oils secreted to make a Benyan waterproof, but also due to the glossy colouring. The cream is soft and warm like sand. It's representative of the rivers which diverge throughout the region. And the little bits of orange-red in on the extremities make me insanely happy. Oh OH his BARBELS! I like his forked barbels so much because they're cute and practical. *plays with them* And the otter tail will be of valuable assistance with swimming too.
Oh, so lovely! The vibrant colouration of Shini’s Leveret looks like she is on fire, and having the ear-tip, mane and cheek fur mimicking flames further enhances the illusion. Shame that her other ear was torn off by her previous Jack though… from what I’ve read in her note, she seems to have been traumatized by the experience. Poor girl!
Aww, what a pretty little thing! This Josiggy Marsh Leveret has incredible blue eyes, and her blonde mane looks like spun gold, soft and shiny. Long fangs would normally look out of place on such a sweet face, but these pearly whites seem to add more to her charm. I just love her fur pattern, in particular how the brown and yellow stripes wrap around her ears.
Congratulations everybody! This is just as good, if not better, as chocolate and other assorted Easter-related candy! <3 Well worth the wait. Thank you so much, Nat. Sorry about the lateness of my comment, I know I should have responded sooner, but better late than never, eh?
