Anubis had heard of an upcoming 'sale' of sorts and had been collecting some items and cash. Every Warren could use a boost now and again, and he intended to make his larger.

After looking over the Does and Leverets that were left, he walked up to the shop owner and made his offer.

"I'd like to take the Villa doe and the Sorgaire leveret please. How about 68 coins and these items?"

Eye Ring: (Traded Peacock Feathered Pin) This bronze ring appears to be mounted with an eyeball...it’s squishy and everything...and it smells like tuna left out in the sun. When placed on, it allows the wearer to see from it wherever it goes after that. It will only ever wok for the original person, but they can gift it, or leave it places, and then simply concentrate and see what it sees. If this ring is broken, however...something...bad...might happen.

Smoke-filled Flask: (101 Breaking Point) A small stoppered flask containing what looks to be swirling white smoke...if inhaled it could grant an SD some fairly amazing powers...

Can only be used once on one SD. No physical effects will be seen, only a power gained <3

Broken Fang: (Traded Chain of Daisies) This small, broken fang tingles a little when touched. It can be worn on a necklace or...eaten...

The creature leaned awkwardly to the side as Magnolia made her offer, its head skewed brokenly back toward the Midori.

"It's a deal, pretty one, I hope you find a friend in her and that your good Jack has it in his heart to spare time for her from yourself."
Its voice hit a slight hitch, as though suppressing either a laugh or a cough, before turning to the Highlander who had hopped up behind the current pair and patiently settled. It was to her fortune that it had not noticed that she bounded over from the lamentably fabulous Hisstor.
"Ah, what lovely jewelry you have, my dear...100 for the lady? I can accept that, not too many want Torques nowadays. The Leveret, however, I'd be more partial to 50 or a small trinket...have you either to add, hmmm?"

While she pondered the offer, it snapped around as a shadow fell over it, head jerking upward. The speed at which it did so looked painful, and belied the strength of its wrappings...they barely even slid.

"I would be a fool not to recognize you, Anubis." The creature muttered, head bowed. "My Leverets have traded with you before, have they not? What have you there?"
It pawed eagerly through the items and counted out the gold, running gloved fingers delicately over the ring and flask. Gingerly, it pushed back the fang.
"Hold onto that, good sir. The Villa is yours, and a pretty thing she is, at that, one of the nicest in this batch...missing an ear too. The Leveret, however, is being spoken for by this lovely Highland lady, if you'll give her a moment to respond, I'll see if I still have her available for you."

Her attempt at haggling had been unsuccessful, even with the very slight hint of the strangeness of the little leveret. What a tail on the thing! So strange. Would she perhaps get the thing caught in a door? It was now coming to bite her in the rear as a shadow that was no doubt from a Jack behind her. Tensing, she hazarded a glance behind her, hair momentarily going on end. Dark and foreboding, with great plumes of gold coming from his head in a way she'd never seen. And the armor. Was he a warrior? But he was Torque, but no binding on him but instead with hues of gold. She did not know what this meant; perhaps Dorian could answer that question for her after one of their sessions. Her power would be ready for use again in a few day's time, no doubt.

Focusing back on the man, she gave a polite smile, pulling out the extra 10 gold pieces in the bag. There was a pang in her at spending this money. It wasn't hers; nothing was really hers. "I can live with that price." Especially with the deal she was getting on the poor Torque.

There was an awkwardness in the air; it was invigorating yet frightening all at once to put a Jack in their place, or at least that was how she saw it; she had been first to show interest in the leveret, and the man was willing to deal with her on the same.. or at least almost same level as the foreboding Jack behind her. She turned her head toward the Jack again, her smile apologetic. "My apologies, Good Sir."

And you as well, darlings." He ushered the Does and Leverets after him, beaming at the herd to join his warren. Oho, and wasn't this a wonderful homecoming!
