Hadrian whined and ran around in a circle. He wanted to play and eat but the nasty older Rabbits weren't letting him! Stupid heads!
Then the one with antlers began prodding him. Growling a bit in frustration and the want to play, he grabbed a hold of Heike's antlers and tugged him in a few directions for just a bit.
"But... but why is the Czar a meanie?!" he whined. Then he froze and sniffed. there was meat... nearby. Dead meat for eating. He looked at the Rabbit in front of him and sniffed. Then the younger one spoke up. It was almost like a split personality. He was suddenly bouncing in a circle again, a huge change from his stationary and very focused sniffing just a moment ago.
"I'm not bad! I'm good to play with!" He was definitely getting impatient with the situation.

In a brilliant display of grace Heike freaked out rather fantastically when the canine grabbed a hold of his antlers and jerked them around for a bit. That was the rabbits last straw. If a rabbit was capable of puffing up, he would have done so. Instead his ears pulled back as his face twisted into a glare.
"Look. I work my ass off every day of my life. I don't need a cute dumb little dog coming up to the place where I live and work and have him demand to enter." He hopped around so he was directly in the canine's face. The rabbit may not have had horrible teeth, but her certainly could kick if he needed to.
"If you plan on coming inside you would need your manners and your wits about you. Since you have neither you won't be allowed inside. In addition YOU ARE A CARD. Rabbits Only." He was just a child but he needed to go away.
"And the Czar is a meanie because he can be. Now Shoo."

Aisha watched the verbal battle for a while, looking to her brother with unhidden exasperation. Finally, she moved forward, throwing what little authority she held to silence the leverets and let her speak. "That is -enough-! Card, you need to leave the warren. So go. Back into the woods. And stay there." Though she was careful not to keep any hint of ulterior motive out of her voice, she was winking very carefully at the card.
-----
Aleah knew his sister, and saw what she was up to immediately. Hopping forward, though still hiding slightly behind his sister, he too chimed in. "Yes, you should probably go back into the woods now, and stay out of the warren. It's obviously you aren't welcome here." Aleah desperately tried to keep himself from grinning. Hopefully the Card would get their drift.

[ >> sorry about the wait on this, I totally forgot this thread existed]
Hadrian whimpered at how forcefully he was rejected from this new and exciting place. Ears dropped, tail drooped, and puppy pout in full force, Hadrian sulked away.
-------
Hadrian was not the most brilliant or sharp of children. It was only by chance that he ended up in the woods searching for food rather than by the implications dropped by the young Rabbits. That hinting went right over his little mohawked head.
For a child as hyperactive as him, it was incredible how patient and focused he could be if he only had the mind for it. Ears back and crouched low to the ground, Hadrian stalked a squirrel burying a nut in the ground. He had to be fast, but silent. His haunches tensed, ready to pounce.... when a sudden noise from the bushes scared the small rodent away. Hadrian groaned as his meal skittered up a tree then looked over to what had disrupted his hunt.

"I bet he's not even out here!" A hissing voice sounded from a little ways away, the thumping of bunny feet perhaps audible to those with keen ears. If not, then the next powerful, loud voice could certainly be heard.
"Psh! My bet is he's lost out here! I doubt any Card that found his way in these woods could have possibly found his way out.." Hopping over the log that had obscured the Doe from view, she re-situated the package of food on her shoulder.
"You should have let me carry that. I'm already gonna get in trouble for letting you leave the warren; I don't wanna get in trouble for letting you take on manual labor as well!"
"Shut up! I'm stronger than you by any measure! Besides, -I- am the Doe and you have to do what I say!"
Aleah's expression was bitter if a leveret could ever be towards a Superior, and he was opening his mouth for a bold retort when a flash of bright blue caught his eye. He squeaked, jumping back behind the log that they'd just crossed. "Th-there he is!!"

The boy paused, then his tail's wagging quickly accelerated.
"It's you guys!" he squealed, bounding up to them. When he got in front of them, he stopped, but he tail kept going. His entire body moved with the motion of his tail, working hard to counterbalance it. He ran around in a circle twice, blue tongue swinging happily from his panting mouth, "Hi guys!" he yipped when the self-circling was finished. All of the movement came to a halt when his stomach made an extremely load growling noise. With a sincere pout on his face, his tail and ears dropped. He was so very, very hungry.
"I'm sorry guys. I'll play with you later. I have to find food," he apologized, "Please don't be mad at me." He felt a need to add that last part. Some People back at his home seemed to want to be mad at him for any thing. Even when he didn't break anything.

Aisha's scoff was filled with the utmost disdain as she rolled her eyes, as if this Card were obviously missing something so terribly simple that it was painful for her to bear. "Well, duh! That was the only thing you were harping about the entire time you were trespassing! you'd think I'd not remember?" With a flip, she set the pack down on the ground and untied the satchel. With a prissiness she'd never admit she'd inherited from her mother, the Doe pulled out a blanket and set it down carefully before setting some foodstuffs out, giving the card the sternest of glares if his movements dared began to tussle her picnic or spray dirt onto her nice blanket.
"I don't know what -your- kind eats, so I took it upon myself to just.. bring a little bit of everything. We have cucumber sandwiches... Ham and cheese croissants, oh and these cupcakes are quite nice- Sit properly and don't act like an animal! Here we go, a plate just for you..."
Aleah hesitantly came to the blanket and sat down, but he continued to keep a distrusting eye towards the card. He was so.. hairy and excitable.. far too much energy for his liking. Pinning his ears back against his skull, he watched the canine with the utmost scrutiny. He'd probably get floored if he had to fight.. but he'd at least try to if this guy made any wrong moves.

Hadrian tilted his head as the Rabbit spoke. What did that matter-- OH FOOD! His eyes went wide as his ears stood up at straight as they would go and his tail wagged. Was it really for him?! He smiled, letting his tongue hang out a little in a very canine fashion. His mouth closed immediately when the Doe gave him a stern stare. That stare said if he was bad, he would not eat, and he very much wanted to eat.
With his tail now a blur of brown and blue, he approached the blanket as calmly as he could.
"Thank you!" he said before digging into the food. He scarfed down the croissants with meat and cheese in them and the cupcakes, but generally ignored the cucumber sandwiches.
"What are your names?" he asked. Even if he'd received them, he couldn't remember them.

The tail of a card was something of an oddity. For one thing, it was long. Another thing... it moved at something that appeared to be the speed of light. Honestly, anything other than the occasional wiggle of a tail was just rude; Aisha couldn't imagine living in a culture filled with long tailed, waggy fools. How did they go about their business without knocking into everything around them? His manners weren't much better, and the Doe found herself setting down her food due to a lack of appetite as the creature scarfed down meatstuffs, breads and sweets and shunned the tasty, mild sandwiches that she herself preferred. At least the beast knew how to say 'thank you.' That had surprised her.
"I am Aisha. This is Aleah" The Doe answered cooly despite her brother's sudden frantic expression.
"We shouldn't even be talking to you right now." Aleah said directly to the canine. "We could all be killed."
