A wanderer? That was rather unusual. Not entirely so, of course, but still odd enough that it brought a bit more of the canine’s focus on the man. He was really very pleasant to look at, especially with his wings stretched out behind him, but he didn’t seem to have the air of a wanderer. She wondered if he was searching for something in particular; he seemed, to her, at least, as the type who would be. She thought that if she would ever be a wanderer, that’s likely the type she would be so that one day she could find wot she was searching for and be able to stop looking.
Then again, perhaps she was completely off track. She was by no means an expert on people as she’d been spent nearly all of her early years and most of her time as an adult in solitude, unable to keep up with the normal pace of daily life.
There is no shame in wandering,” she replied thoughtfully after several long moments of silence. ”And a great deal of adventure.”
(( Gads, it's taking me forever to reply to this one too! No worries, man! ))

"No..I'v never found it shamefull. A bit confuseing..to myself and others, but really no shame. And yes, it can be a GREAT adventure" the weasle replied. "Though, he continued with a sly grin on his muzzel, the adventuring will be a bit easier, I'm sure, when I am able to achive my Bi-pedal form. It frees one up quite a bit, does it not?"
Looking at her bindeing again, he was sure that in her animal form, the lovely lady would hardly be able to move without pulling her hair from her head. Such a lovely creature, and very strong it would seem. The regions bindings were bad all around, from the few residents he had encounterd, but to have a natural binding that woudl restrict walking in such a way must have left the poor girl very very lonely indeed.
"So..dear Lady, are you the adventureing sort?"

”It certainly does,” she agreed in a low, murmured undertone in regard to forms. Bipedal was certainly more convenient than animal, though animal was still a great deal more common. As for herself, it really didn’t matter to her wot form others were in, though she did know that those in bipedal deserved more respect, generally, since it was generally difficult to attain. Her own had come at the cost of years of solitude, pain, and segregation. She stretched her arms up above her head as far as she was able to yet again. To move… to have the ability to move; she would always be indebted to the Queen who had helped her.
He recalled her mind to their topic on hand, unaware of how his thoughts had turned. She tilted her head thoughtfully in answer to the question, staring at the dim reaches of her homeland, but very soon she was shaking her head ‘no.’ ”I am not,” she admitted quietly but steadily. It did not bother her to be herself, not at this moment, this time. However, as to –wot- she was, she had no real answer. ”I go places, I see things, but I am not adventuring, I am simply doing.” One of her longest replies thus far, it was accompanied by her swinging her dark muzzle back towards him. Her purple eyes gave testament to the veracity of her beliefs. She really didn’t feel as though she were the adventuring type.

"Hmm..fair enough, and well said. I suppose that would actually be more fitting for myself, now that I think about it. I suppose I'm not much of an adventurer either. As you say..I just go and do. I don’t really have any destination, nor am I looking for anything specific. I suppose I refer to it all as an adventure because I never know where I might end up at the end of the day...or whom I might meet. One never knows where there is a friend to be made. So..that being said..I suppose I have to recant myself yet again, and stick with calling myself an adventurer." Chuckling softly, he shifted the way his head was tilted, and tried again. "I suppose that it is not so much I feel that I am an adventurer. It's more like my life has just turned into a continuing adventure. I think that fits a bit better....maybe."
"But even if you say you are not adventureing, I'm sure you have seen an interesting thing in you goings and doings, no?"

Haret listened as he spoke and gave a soft smile and encouraging nod as he tried to talk out wot his life represented to him. A continuing adventure... that sounded so lovely and hopeful. In fact, it sounded like a wonderful life to live. Not that she was entirely certain adventure was for her, but this weasel seemed like the type to really enjoy it and revel in it. "I wish you luck on your continued adventure," she told him softly, words still accompanied by a small, gentle smile. "May your excitement be accompanied by a lack of danger." She gave a low, melodic laugh before her attention returned to their conversation and not her well-wishes for him.
Had she seen interesting things? If she really thought about it and was quite honest with herself, then she'd -done' a few interesting things, but she could hardly just admit to that. So she wasn't entirely certain how to respond. Finally she gave a small, embarrassed shrug.
(( ><;;; Dude, if i go this long between replies again, poke me, ne? T_T i'm SSOOOO sorry! i keep forgetting this RP is out here... oO;;; ))

[[Not the best, but I'm a bit out of practice ]] Lucio smiled at the sound of her laughter. She truly was an astounding creature, and he was happy that he had the chance to meet her. But his eyes had not missed the hesitant shrug. " I thank you for the tidings of good luck. We could all use a bit now and again, hmm? Though it seems my luck has been quite good as of late. After all, my path has lead me to meeting you, and I count myself lucky indeed for the opportunity. Though I really hope I have not overstepped my bounds with my questions. My tongue sometimes gets away from me, and I question without thought. I did not mean to ask anything so personal." And he meant it. He silently damned himself, thinking himself a fool to ask something so close to the heart after such a short meeting. The girl obviously did not have the happiest of pasts. When would he learn to keep his mouth shut? He was also noting a dull throb in his back where he was laying on his wings. It seemed that at least an hour had passed. He rolled back onto his belly and stood, then walked to the base of the tree and raised up on his hind legs, putting his forepaws on the tree so he could look up at her. " Excuse me, but I just need to stretch for a bit."

She tilted her head at semi-apology and wondered how to assure him that she wasn't offended; it was difficult for her to be offended by a great deal after the hurtful things that had happened in her past and someone actually inquiring about her-- about her past, about her life, about her thoughts-- that interest could not be offensive though she wasn't entirely comfortable with it.
She didn't really have a great deal of experience socially, not as shunned as she had been. But she had observed. Unfortunately observations were not like real life and that made it difficult for her to know how to reassure him.
By this time, however, the moment had passed and he was up on his feet and at the base of the tree. She put aside her thoughts and her ears flicked forward briefly to catch his words. "Shall you attempt the tree now that you're stretching?" she teased very lightly, very gently.

Smiling and shaking his head softly, he laughed. A happy and good natured sound.
"The tree, the tree. You will not be happy until I fall out of a tree and land on me rear, will you, dear Lady?" he said with a chuckle, poking his tongue out after to be sure she would know he said it all in fun. "But yes, I suppose I could attempt the feat. At the very worst....or best, I may break a leg, and have to stay with you while it heals" he said with a wink and soft smile.
Crouching down on his haunches, he sprang straight up, aiming for a branch that was a bit lower than the one the female was on. And missed. Completely.
Grinning shyly he looked up at the female and shook his head, poking out his tongue. "Well now, lets try that again shall we?"
Turning he walked a few feet from the tree, curled his wings in tight, and ran as fast as he could towards it, leaping when he was about two feet away, and taking two running strides straight up the trunk, useing his claws to pull and push himself up, before springing off and spreading his wings and made a gliding turn before dropping the left slightly to complete his turn as he neared the branch. When he was just a couple of inches away, he flared both wings sharply back to slow down and stabilize himself, as his paws touched the branch, one stretched out in front of the other, putting all four of his paws 'in line' as best he could. Slinking down low, he nearly touched his belly and chest to the branch as he fought for a couple of seconds to keep his balance, before standing carefully and looking up at the girl.
"There now. I guess I can join you after all"

Initially, the black canine wasn't entirely certain he was just teasing and not actually upset, despite his laughter and smiles. He wasn't the type, however, to hid cruelty behind a laughing mask, and the woman finally relaxed a bit more until his first branch attempt failed completely.
"Oh, be careful!" she called out softly, concern flaring in her purple eyes. She was on the verge of telling him that she would simply come down if it was that important to him, but he was bounding forward suddenly and Haret's breath caught in her throat in worry. She didn't dare make a sound for fear of distracting him now that he was committed to the action, but she wished he wasn't making such a dangerous attempt!
By the time Lucio was fully in the tree, Haret's eyes could be saucers and she stared at him in shock and amazement. "Wow," she said softly. "That was impressive. Are you all right?" Though he appeared to be just fine despite the rather iffy moments.
