Pascha finally managed to escape from a session with Aderlass and some crazy chick who kept killing off all of her low-ranked Club children as soon as they reached the age to be able to talk - the strange thing about it being she was a low-ranked Club herself, not some obnoxious Heart with a problem. It was people like her that made him want to just reach out and snap- but no, that wouldn't be a productive way to contain his anger, now would it? Nono, mustn't terrorize the already crazy. He hopped idly back and forth across a hallway, occasionally pausing to twist his head around at passerbys, most of which were staff and completely unphased by his attempts to freak them out. The Court was getting much too used to him; perhaps it was time to take a visit to the City. .. Then again, the last visit hadn't gone too well, so perhaps not. The owl escaped to the large foyer and crawled his way up one of the large ornamental columns, then busied himself with hanging upside down from the rafters.

Sage had finished her paperwork early, though she had somehow managed to miss lunch. So instead of eating she decided that she would take a nice long walk around the palace. She could got the garden and spend some time practicing a few songs... And maybe she could try the kitchen before dinner to get a tiny snack? She just didn't like to bother the people when they had so much work to do. Wandering down the hallways was rather uneventful. There were plenty of people who made comments, hit on her, and so forth, but she never really took notice. She simply breezed past them to her destination. She did, however, stop when she saw someone climbing into the rafters. It wasn't every day she saw someone do that. A Tulgey too... wasn't that His Highness Pascha? Well. She could just ask him why he was up there and hanging upside down. It seemed a little strange to do without a purpose. The wolf-squirrel paused in her walk to look up at the bird on the ceiling. "Is there any reason why you're up there, Your Highness?"

Pascha had nearly settled into a nice, comfortable niche when a feminine voice calling up to him nearly sent him plummeting to the ground. He flapped his wings once or twice for balance, then, flustered, preened himself for a moment before peering down to see who had startled him so.
Oh, it was that one girl. S... su.... So.... Sa.... Huh. Yeah, that one girl. She had a pretty jacket on.. a pretty pink jacket on. He liked pink, especially on pretty ladies, but it tended to weird them out when he tried to tear pieces off their outfits. Aderlass had pretty much forbidden that one.
He awkwardly realized it had been several minutes since when she scared him until the present moment. Perhaps he should say something to reassure her that he wasn't completely looney. What had she asked? Something.. height.. Ah, why was he in the rafters?
"It's rather comfortable up here," He replied with a "hoo-hoo" of a chuckle. "There's a delightful draft coming in from the South, and if I sit just right it goes up underneath my tailfeathers."
There was a long pause in which he shifted a few times. Were he at her level, Sage would have noticed his eyes twitching back and forth, but he didn't give this away by moving his head. ".... and I'm bored. I like to drop feathers on unsuspecting peoples' heads."

She gaped when she thought the bird was going to fall. He didn't, thankfully, which was enough to make the wolf mix relax a bit.
Surprisingly she wasn't unnerved by the bird's gazed however awkward it was. She simply took it with a grain of salt, sometimes people started at her awkwardly for long periods of time. She waited for a response, still looking up at him.
Comfortable? She never would have guessed that. Maybe it was just because he was a bird? Well that made a lot of sense, she supposed. Not like she could hang from the rafters even if she could fly, it would just be awkward. "That makes sense, I suppose."
The second part of his statement made her tilt her head with curiosity. "How would dropping feathers on people cure boredom? It doesn't seem like it would do much to people besides make them jump a bit."

Seeing her gasp, Pascha swung around on his upside-down perch for a few moments, enjoying the gentle rocking motion. The beam squeaked loudly in protest, but didn't shift, so he continued swinging.
"Yes. Yes it does." He responded in his usual vacant fashion, not particularly interested in giving a lengthier reply. It wasn't something non-birds, or even non-owls were likely to understand. He'd been told mammals got headaches if they stayed upside down for too long.. Odd creatures.
"Do you often have feathers fall on your head?" Pascha asked with curiosity. He was always careful to choose new victims everytime, as it became less entertaining the more often repeated, but she seemed to underestimate the effect it had on people. Feathers generally did not fall from the sky inside buildings. "It has a rather startling effect."

Sage shifted on her feet as she watched the man swing from the rafters. What if he just flew off and hit her in the face or something? Well she supposed he didn't weight that much. Birds, from her understanding, were lighter because they were built for flying.
Her wings solidified a bit when he spoke of feathers falling on heads. She could fly, but more often than not she shied away from it. It was useful, however when she had to take some sort of extended trip and didn't have to worry about family.
"No, not often. But I come from a family that is notorious for pulling pranks. My one sister in particular... you may have seen her around the palace. She has writing all over her and smells strongly of roses? She used to pull a lot of pranks on me when I was younger. Like putting glue on one of my dolls so my hands were stuck." She shrugged. "So I probably wouldn't startle or get terribly upset over a feather on my head."
