“Cha, I need to ask you a favor. I have a sudden appointment I need to see too. Can you watch Ignasi for me?” The mouse did not wait for a real response from the owl. Looking to his son he gave him a sad smile. Sorry I have to do this. I will be back later, okay. Try not to give him too much of a hard time.” With that the mouse left. “Bye Father.” The bull-mouse mixed replied to his father before turning his attention on the avian in front of him. So he was being left in this guys charge all day? Well that was sure to be fun. If the guy was not interesting enough he could always sneak off and cause . . . find trouble. “So . . . what are we going to do?” he asked the owl, tilting his head to the side.

"Hmm?" Pascha looked up slowly, his mind withdrawing from the paper he'd been reading. "What? Watch him? I've never--" He stopped abruptly when he realised that Aderlass was already gone, and finished his sentence with a sigh. "--babysat."
The owl slowly turned his gaze to the child before him, an eyebrow raised. He'd spent time with the child, of course, because he was in Aderlass' presence so often, but had never been alone with him before, let alone been charged to watch him.
Did Ader really think he was going to be good with kids? Then again, he'd never tried.. well, you learned something new every day.. or died in the process, he supposed.
"Hungry? Thirsty? Bored out of your little skull? I'm sure we can find something entertaining to do that won't get me fired or you grounded, hmm?" He peered down at the mixbreed and tried to think of things children did when bored. It was days like this that he wished he had actually had one.. it would have been a good starting point.

“No, a little, yes, maybe, and sometimes” the mix replied an innocent smile on his face. He was more then aware that he had answered more questions then the owl had asked him but he was interested to see if it confused the owl, or if the avian would even catch onto it.
Sitting on his hind-quarters he thumped his tail on the ground playfully. It was definitely going to be fun spending the day with Uncle Pascha. He was not quite sure what to make of the bird, having spent most of his time around him while his Father was around. He had the rank and title of Jack so he could not be all that bad, right?
“Not being grounded sounds like a very good idea” He had a feeling that if they did something bad enough to get grounded by Father then his other Father would find out and continue to enforce it. From experience he knew that his other Father would come up with a much worse punishment.

Pascha merely stared the child down with an eyebrow raised, well aware of how many questions the kid had asked. "What were the last two questions for, getting hit on the skull and if Aderlass hits hard?" He snickered at the idea, well aware that the Queen wouldn't actually hit his child.. but lovetaps were perfectly acceptable.
The owl almost suggested bothering Anoushka, but had the sudden image of the canine biting Ignasi's tail off and blaming him for it.. and changed his mind.
What else was there to do in the court of clubs? He wasn't entirely sure, as he'd been bored out of his skull many times when he was still a ten. Whatever they did, it was going to require leaving the courts for a bit.
Aderlass hadn't specified 'stay inside,' after all. Pascha had a sudden idea, and stood up from his desk and motioned the child to follow him. "C'mon kid, we'll entertain ourselves one way or another."

He gave a smirk when the owl did notice his extra answers, before grinning at the questions the owl created for the answers. He was assuming that the owl had familiarity with those two experiences.
This was only his second visit to the Club Court; his previous one had been when he was much younger though so he could not recall much more of it then faces and some names.
Interested to see what the owl would come up with to entertain them he sat there patiently. He did not have to wait long though, apparently, for soon after the owl seemed to have come up with an idea. If it was not then well, he could always wonder away and find his own fun. Surely there had to be some of it to be found. He was sure that his father would not be too cruel to the owl should he not return in time.
At the male’s motioning him to follow he easily obeyed up for entertainment. “Where are we headed?” He asked.

"Out," was Pascha's only answer, though he did grin a bit. He led the boy down the stairwell, through a few hallways and through the entrance corridor before he stopped, turned, and faced Ignasi.
"Do you happen to have any ability to fly?" He questioned, eyeing the boy's back. No wings--what a shame--but he knew some people had the magic to do it. You never knew, and it wouldn't hurt to ask. "If not, we'll just have to make do. I think the gardener has some ropes somewhere.." He mused, his eyes moving to the ceiling as he pondered exactly how to work the little game he had planned.
He'd always wanted to test how long it took to completely booby trap part of a roof. Pascha generally wasn't much of a prankster, as he tended to find better things to do, but they had their place and time.

At the owl’s question if he had any ability to fly he raised an eyebrow. Did it really look like he had the ability to do such a thing?
His best friend had wings though so the idea had indeed crossed his mind before. It would be really cool if he was able to get some functioning wings in the future. But that would have to be put off for now. The only people that he had ever met had only had the ability to fly if they had wings, so it never occurred to the mix that people could have the ability otherwise.
“No, I can not fly.” He replied easily following after the owl to see where he would lead. ‘Out’ left way too many windows open for mischief to the mix and he was more then enthralled to find out just what it was that they would be doing.

"Darn," Pascha replied lightly, then shrugged. "Oh well. We'll just have to prop you up, or maybe I can find a ladder.. can you climb with those limbs?" He asked absently, not meaning offense, but more of figuring out how he was going to work the kid into his mastermind scheme. Really, they didn't have enough fun around here, and it wasn't his fault he wasn't getting any work done -- Ader had foisted the kid off on him, hadn't he? So that was his "job", or at least that's what he was going to tell himself (and/or Anoushka) if he felt guilty.
He eyed the rooftop, eyed the kid.. and promptly decided not to attempt flying him up there himself. Pascha hated to admit that he was on the shrimpy side, but he had the brains to know that he'd end up hurting both of them if he tried to tax himself doing that. So it was either the ropes or the ladder.. so he turned to look at the kid, and raised an eyebrow. "How would you like to get up?"

He raised an eyebrow at the owl. The male really was one of the oddest creatures that he had met so far. Why he worked for his dad he was not quite sure.
"I would guess the ladder would work." He did not really spot anything else that would provide the support it would take to get him up on the roof, the owls wings included. He should have no problem getting up onto the roof after that, though he was not quite certain why they were doing this in the first place. Elias had taught him survival in the Josiggy Marsh, therefore he would have no trouble with this at all.
Anyone who can survive the training of Mr. Elias, well then they were pretty set for like, he would like to think. It gave him a new respect for the Heart Queen.
Bringing his attention back to the owl he raised an eyebrow to see what he would do.

Pascha eyed the kid, and resisted the urge to roll his eyes. It was a sad day when he had more of an adventurous spirit than a child - being a crazy owl, you'd think he'd be the one giving blank looks, not receiving them - but Ignasi was just looking at him as if he'd grown another head. "I get bored, alright?" He started in a mutter, "Some days you just need to booby trap the roof to remind yourself you still know how to have fun."
He briefly left the boy there and went to haul a ladder over, then set it up against the roof. "Climb the ladder, then," He requested, and did his best to keep the resignation of 'I'm making a fool of myself' out of his voice. It was his idea, and he still had nothing better do to; so even if it fell on his head with a crash, he'd see it through.
Or fly away.
One of the two.
