Elodie looked mildly disgusted at the mention of Esterberry, but didn't voice her opinions of the realm. They were a lot of snot-nosed know it alls, and she'd met far too many of them. The cat dubiously eyed the series, then took the first one simply so Viola would move on and hopefully not bring her to such offensive authors again. Avoidance was her best policy.
She blinked after the snake for a moment, then slowly followed her back up to the counter. She grabbed her pile of books from the floor and set them on the counter while she waited for whatever the next magical novel was going to be - as long as she had books, and lots of them, she didn't care. It was mildly surprising to Elodie that the girl was actually treating her fairly nicely; most cards took one look at her jewelry and started spitting out insults, which, of course, she had to retaliate in kind.

Viola cheerfully slipped behind the counter. For a few moments there was quite a bit of shuffling going on behind there before a book seemed to pop up from seemingly nowhere. It hit the counter with a rather light thud before Viola's head peered over.
"This book is a collection of oddly told fairy tales. It's written by someone named Rosemary Caufield. There's not much information on her but.. she's very talented. I found the book rather engaging once I got past the weird," the snake mix gave a rather bright smile to the feline.
She really hoped the Yarrow liked the book.
"If anything is wrong with them, or you don't like any of them you have three weeks to return them." The snake started to ring up the total on the cash register with the cunning use of her tail. "And... feel free to stop by whenever you like. We get new shipments three times a week."
