From the parents, I got: Edward Scissorhands and Corpse Bride DVDs, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of work pants, a pretty shirt, new undies and bras, two silky pairs of PJ pants, a comforter set, gift cards to Panera, Red Robin, and Starbucks, and a super awesome amazing necklace from the Brass Dragon at the Renaissance Faire that I got to pick out. Favorite store at the faire? Totally. Never thought I'd get a necklace from there? Also. SQUEE.
From the grandparents, I got: GPS (YAY!), Swiss chocolate (MOAR YAY!), Toblerone (good thing I'm not diabetic!), a pretty bracelet, and some moneys.
From the aunt, I got: Silky kitten scarf, crystal earrings, and an awesome layered necklace.
From the brother and his GF, I got: Delicious-smelling bath set, Starbucks card, and PF Chang's gift card! For... a lot more than I would have expected. So many hearts.
Grats on the lovely presents, everyone!

We didn't really do a traditional Christmas at my parent's this year. We decided as a family that we all really like going out and doing things, so we're going for an experiential Christmas - starting off with a night at Cirque du Soleil on Tuesday, and progressing to a little trip to San Francisco (WHICH I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED ABOUT)
So we're just enjoying each other's company, getting ready to make a prime rib, and basking in the glory of the lemon meringue we just hauled out of the oven. Delightful win.

Despite being ill, I managed to make it home yesterday, and got to enjoy a Christmas Eve service at my church. No singing for me, though. The lungs were not happy.
In terms of LOOT I got:
Stocking: - Weazel Ball (a silly little thingy that's got a motor which rolls around and has a "weasel" attached) - balsa wood airplane (I've gotten it the past three years, and no one's ever put them together. they're sorta tradition) - a cord wrap - Luke Skywalker lightsaber chopsticks! so awesome! - Star Trek bottle opener - apron saying, "Come to the Dark Side. We have cookies."
Presents: - Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker (glee!) - two really pretty barettes - a glittery flower shirt - Betty Crocker cook book - a Mom-made scarf - yarn to make more scarves with (and I just /made/ a scarf, which made Mom laugh) - a Mom-made gorgeous little purse with kitty patterned fabric - an Enterprise pizza cutter - R2D2 pepper mill (no, I'm not kidding) - a year's subscription to the Smithsonian Air & Space Magazine! - three month subscription to Audible.com! - the book A Girl's Guide to Dating a Geek (which...my dad had already gotten for me. I don't care what he says, I know it was him. he just forgot) - soap with adorable kitty pattern - a Smarty Pet, which is a little alarm clock/learning toy apparently intended for preschoolers. Mom apparently got tired of me sighing about how much I miss having a pet. *grin*
And that's not counting the wonderful gifts that Harps gave me! =D
I think I made out pretty darn well this Christmas! *nodnodnods*

I got a CD from a friend, a check, a candle, and a gift certificate to Borders. Didn't actually get to see anyone, but that's okay. It's just like Thanksgiving.
I'm glad it's almost over. Ba-Humbag!

Guess what I got for Christmas!! GUESS GUESS!!!!! It was a cold.... -__- Everyone in my household has been sick so it was just a matter of time. BF and I had to bail Xmas dinner early because he wasn't feeling good... and then we got home and I felt like crap. Oh well. HOWEVER, I did have a lovely time before all that. My "loot" this year is nothing to write home about - I didn't ask for anything exciting because BF and some friends are going to NYC in January, so we didn't get each other gifts so we could have fun in the Big Apple. And I honestly had WAY more fun picking out stuff for my family because I got them some AWESOME gifts. We also have a bunch of family/friend events planned for after Christmas so I'm really looking forward to that. Our prior Christmas Eve/Christmas activities were actually the BEST: BF and I went to a hockey game then had a romantic evening in this SWANKY hotel - complete with champagne, private hot tub and breakfast service in the morning. Totally worth ALL the holiday shenanigans to have that special evening. I may be sick in the aftermath, but now I can just sit on my butt and relax!! YEAH! Hope everyone else had a great time!! Sounds like some folks received some great gifts and had an exciting holiday!!
