Ok, alright. Here you are.
I've been talked into it.
Since The Halloween contest fell through I've had people asking if a mini art/prompt contest was out of the question. Fine. Here you are.
There will be points and prizes for the winners (1 winner and 1 runner-up in art, the same in writing. You can only win one space.) Yes, the prizes will have something significant to do with the contest. Yes, I've already written them out and you'll probably be sad not to have them.
Rules: ------------------------
1. All art and writing must be from the currently running plots threads; ie: the Ticket Contest. 2. You may participate, even if you're not in the contest. 3. You may draw/write about characters who are not yours. 4. Artwork can be anything from sketches to full-blown works. 5. No, using one of my NPCs doesn't mean you automatically win. I don't like some of them because they scare me. (I'll be flattered, but you don't auto-win.) 6. If you have already done Ticket Contest art, you may re-submit it here. 7. This will close at the exact same time as the contest itself, no late pieces. 8. Just post it all right here in this thread, feel free to comment and such too, I think I'll be able to spot the pieces. <3
-------------------------------------------------
Have fun, I bow to the whims of the three people who keep asking me about it. <3

Oh. I, um, was definitely expecting something out of the Halloween contest....
Is there a limit to the writing? I fear a piece-in-process may become a bit long... sooo.. yeah... ^~^

Good question. I'd say try to limit it to 1,500 words or less if you could. As to the Halloween contest. Sorry, it came about at a time when a lot of things were crushing my brain and the prizes never quite got off the ground. I might have a "creepy contest" sometime in the future to re-use ideas. Your expectations, I cry for them. ~Nathalia

o.o Oh nice! Hey so, we can only WIN in one category, but are we allowed to submit entries for both writing and drawing? Also, how many entires are we allowed in total if there is a limit?

You can enter as many times as you like, you'll get little "build-up" points for everything you enter and entering over some amounts (that I can't tell you) could get you a little something extra along with the usual art and fic points. <3

For some reason I can't find it. When does the actual Ticket Contest end again?

Here I go! <3 Submitting artwork! *fist pump* Ayden, Eurwen and Victor in the hat shop. This first piece took three and a half days of solid computer CGing joy. Click on it for the larger version. Please look at the larger version ;_; PLEASE. Detail Shots: projectnos.net/art/suits/artcontestdetails.jpgAnd for those who are interested, here's the background without the characters: projectnos.net/art/suits/artcontesthatsonly.pngGigi and Mirriam Resubmitting! I don't know if my little notecards of the NPCs count for anything... but since they're related to the tickets I'll post them anyone. I'll edit them out if they don't count for anything.

Amherst's Lament
And lo! Ole Amherst walked into the door With Remus, Joe, the children all behind What wouldst the Cards find there inside the store? The bird wouldst make sure those found wouldst be kind.
A pouch was found upon the dusty ground, Ole Amherst picked it up in his great wing. Remus and Joe, her mother they wouldst find For she was Queen of Clubs, not lowly king.
The store was empty, so they all set out To dark and stormy streets that smelt of spice. Ole Amherst strode through fog so strong and stout In hopes the children wouldst stay still like mice.
Alas! The Cards wouldst travel through the cold Towards alleys that smelt too much of mold.
Thought I'd start the fiction with a Shakesperian Sonnet. Poor Amherst, he was not prepared to deal with inquisitive (and manipulative) kiddies.
