Well, that was quite a wild ride. You all went so many places I didn't expect and took so many insightful turns. I admit myself impressed and delighted by your responses and your peril-fraught journey. However much I may have cursed it at the time. I would like to ask if those who participated would do me a favor. If you could please fill these out to give me a better idea of what was good and what wasn't and for future details; I would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks guys. Hope you had fun. -------------------------------------- Character you feel you developed the best and why: What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: Least favorite?: What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): Other comments: --------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you all, I appreciate your help, so that future runs can be just as much, if not more fun, than this beta-test. ~Nathali

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Mmm, that's hard. It's between Yantai, Alohilani and Mo. I learned so much about the first two, and they became strong muses whereas they'd been sort of quiet before. Lohi is more down ot earth and thoughtful then I gave her credit for, I now know that despite being a total humanitarian, the thing Yantai wants most in life is someone to protect her .... and Mo? He actually did a lot of growing up. He's now, officially, felt the full spectrum of emotions including fear and loss. He's also a lot closer to his own realm as well, doesn't despise them anymore. Kinda wants to try and help a little actually. Which is big for his narcissistic butt.
What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: The whole Cale bit was. It was exciting, had so many twists and turns and it just.... had my attention locked right up to the very last moments. And the ending? Damn, made me teary.
Least favorite?: The wait for replies sometimes but, pfft, honestly? That wasn't even all that bad.
What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): Mmm, toughy. Maybe try and organize the thread groups into more distribution with people who have the same posting speed/time between posts? I know we all have slow and fast points, and it wasn't a huge issue, but maybe a little tweaking next time?
What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: I really loved how everything sort of flowed, and even if it was unexpected, it wasn't to the point of omfg, how the hell did that just happen? Everything made sense to some degree, and I commend you for being able to do that so cleanly.
Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: Actually, I really loved having the NPCs around. It added a factor that would be harder with actually played characters I think, especially since one person was the puppetmaster for all. (although I do know it was a huge life nommer <3)
NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): No complaints in this section, beautiful work <3
What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: Maybe more direct goals, but that would only shorten it lol. It was fun to have mysterious choices that altered yer paths, so that's kind of a half assed suggestion unless you'd want to do something not quite to grandiose in the future =3
If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: Pfft, I'd still totally be down. This was an awesome experience, and exactly what I needed to get those old creative juices flowing again.
Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): I really liked three. Cale was just awesome, and I liked his look and persona and watchign his story evolve. Resta, oh Resta.... you were wonderful. Crazy ass bitch but good god I loved your crazy and you were fun to play with. <3 And last but not least I was also really fond of Mirung and his soft and gentle side despite his looks. So very adorable, I could pinch his cheeks. =D
Other comments: Phenomenal idea and excellent execution. Thanks again for inviting me along this fantastic journey <3

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Oh, that is a truly tough question. I'm not sure if I could pick just one. But it really is a close tie between Orin and Aleah. Aleah's change was more literal and was a huge stepping stone to his muse and interaction in the future. He's a very strong muse so what happened to him was just… amazing. Orin though.. my dear Orin. I love him so much. I really feel like this gave him a strong ground to question his place in the world and move forward as a very strong and independent muse.
What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?:The whole thing between the Benyans and Selkies is truly fascinating. I can't wait to see everything wrapped up. I found it interesting just what the catalyst was for actual action, and thoroughly amused by how it seems a common trend in human (and card) nature to have their own personal reasons push them forward to do things that have some guise of being for a broader reason. I felt that maybe there was a bit of this to both wars, though the Lowland/Jossigy situation was just… delightful. I'd say the Selkie/Benyan issue is my favorite because I felt personally more immersed into it, perhaps because of how many of my characters were on those particular tickets.
Least favorite?: The only reason the Jossigy/Lowland situation wasn't a favorite (I still loved it. But I have to put something here, right? XD) because of my own fault, really. I got ridiculously lost due to speed reading and generally being distracted by other things. My focus has been.. fickle and has been affecting things outside of this ticket event. I think I also had a small amount of panic because I felt like I'd gotten very behind because of my sudden hiatus. Again.. my fault. But that situation really couldn't be helped.
What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): You wear the pants/hold the reins/carrying the crop/insert euphemism that means you are the boss here. I like a good smack on the nose and a finger waggle if I'm being silly.
What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: Your amazing skills of flexibility? I like how organic and changing things were. How you were able to orchestrate all this and direct 'traffic' is beyond me. I can barely get my butt out of the house in time to make it to classes on most days. But I'd also say the NPC interaction between characters was great.
Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: They definitely didn't hinder. I think there was a very good amount of NPCs that engaged characters and helped them along in the storyline. It was very helpful to have an NPC to give clues and a feel for what was going on, even if it is in the limited an biased scope of one or two characters in a situation until another one is introduced.
NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): I really don't feel like I can give a good answer to that; I was very distracted during this event and any disconnect I had with an NPC was inconsequential because they were generally in interaction with other characters. Therefore, not ineffective XD
What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: Maybe… a tiny bit smaller. Perhaps a limited amount of tickets sold so there isn't such an overwhelming amount of characters to cover ground with. It might make things go along smoother while still having a serious 'fun' factor. I know for a fact that if I had realized the magnitude of what I was getting into I may not have thrown so many characters into the mix. But I enjoyed the interaction they all had, even if at times it was limited (Again.. my fault.)
If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: I think this is a valid and very smart thing to do! Or, at the very least, limit the amount of tickets available. Assuming everyone is able to get one or two tickets for things it'd still be super fun for everyone and everyone could get involved without being overwhelmed. The rp would go faster and more streamlined if people were able to be more focused on just one or two characters instead of say.. five or six.
Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): Viast. Oh… do you really have to ask? She was so adorable. Charlie loved her. And she was so sweet to the children. Saul would be sad to have not been able to really know her if he's ever told about her when he gets older.
Other comments: This was insanely fun. Rping Brandy was a blast, especially once he started getting his Fierce face. It's definitely a side of him I'm going to have in the back of my mind when I think of him. Mikael made a life changing decision, Orin is confused about his morals, Aleah is gonna get some ass, and Davy got a sweet new ability! And a curse, which is pretty spiff, even if he's a little bummed about it. Delaney was fun to rp as well, Keitha truly seems to act as her shadow though; it makes me wonder what will happen to my girls as they age. Karrock. Oh, that boy doesn't even KNOW what to think right now. I recently watched Dark Crystal again so I've been comparing his original muse ideas with how I currently play him. I have a lot to think about. Banvyne? Epic, and so sinister. Her hatred toward leverets is almost too extreme but her muse demands it. And Charlie.. my poor baby. He got so beat up. All he want to do is go home. I might be forgetting something/someone. Gah. DX Maybe not. Not sure. Either way this was insanely fun. My mind is on FIRE with Aleah right now and it's kicking all my other muses in the face.
Oh. And you are a graphic lady. You say ew over licking Lowland rot. You broke Zach's FACE. Well. You wrote it, at least. I cringe. Hard. Oh gosh.

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Victor. All the way. Like a Double Fuckin' Rainbow. Granted, I had only Makenna to compare him to who ended up in a thread that didn't reach a satisfying end because I was a genius and got involved in a thread with two Dealers who are far more productive and busy than I'll ever be. Not to mention she spent about half the time hiding behind something or fucken' crying. STILL, his muse woke up a bit after I finished his fic. During this, his muse became a raging beast who I know think of as often as I used to think of Heilyn. Don't get me wrong, Makenna's muse, once very elusive, has become a graspable thing. However, it does not compare to the strides Victor has made. He now has goals in life that I never imagined he would make, but they are in no way out of character.
What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: Blerg. I've said it too many times already, but here: Since I wasn't able to keep up with much, only threads here and there, I cannot give a good answer to this. I'm sorry.
Though I will say, for the sake of Victor, I am very interested as to what happens with the Lowlander/Josiggy War and its affect on the world.
Least favorite?: hargblarg
What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): Oh God. Um, honestly, it's beyond me how you thought of this and managed to keep up with it. With my impatience, I probably would have lazy-quit this shit before its rightful end. My only complaints stem from the rather childish reversion I made to my previous RP state of obsessively refreshing the board and wishing someone would reply to my posts. BAW WHY ARE THEY POSTING IN THOSE OTHERS?! DON'T THEY LOVE ME?! NEVER MIND THOSE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING THEIR TURN FAIR AND SQUARE! WHAT ABOUT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?!?!?! Uuuuh, maybe a better catalog of the NPCs and where they show up? I have to admit I have a certain fondness for some of them I would like a more efficient way of stalking them than wading through threads and hoping I find the right one. Then again, if this happens again, I'll know to keep caught up from the beginning regardless of how busy I am since I know a little better what to expect. I was not expect something of this scope to be honest.
What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: Hard to say. I loved what I was involved with, and I loved what I saw from other people's posts.
Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: I feel that is entirely relative to the size of the plot. However, the WAY in which you played them was just right. You let them present the plot, the problems our characters had to overcome, but did not make it any issue. It was never "You guys follow along while I have my own plot bonanza over here centered around my godly Admin characters." You adapted to what we threw at you and you let us drive where the plot went and what was revealed to whom. That is what I really respect in a GM. I have endured too many games where the GM pretty much degrades everyone else's characters to fancharacters for the GM's own masturbastory. (Yes. I made up that word. Just right now. Praise me.)
NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): Rodney didn't have my babies. I find that a great offense to my being and demand retribution.
What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: LOVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: HAHA. Considering I pretty much bummed my way into this contest, I find me answering this question laughable. However, I know you put an incredible amount of effort and sweat into this contest (to the point at which I questioned your well being and sanity) and endured even more of my senseless prattle than usual. So I would say yes, it is worth it.
Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): I... sad to say, I shamelessly admit that the appearance of Don in this somehow necromanced the dead crackcharacter Lysette back into life.
You know what THAT means.
I did like all those I encountered and read about. EDIT:Oh, I did like Ayden. He was a fun one. I like the way he talked and presented himself and acted.
Other comments: IF U WANNA B MAH LUVAH U GOTTA SPICE UP MY LIFE. SLAM IT TO THE LEFT, IF YOU SAY YOU'LL BE THERE 'CUZ I NEED SOME LOVE LIKE I NEVAH NEEDED LOVE BEFORE!
SLAM YOUR BODY DOWN AND STOP RIGHT NOW! THANK YOU VERY MUCH I NEED SOMEBODY WITH A HUMAN TOUCH! HEY YOU! ALWAYS ON TEH RUN! GOTTAH SLOW IT DOWN BABY AND ZIGAZIG AH!

Character you feel you developed the best and why:They were all developed more than I'd hoped for, but I think the one that was developed the most was Jeremiah. I had a vague idea of how he was in my head, but through the contest he really started to speak! For example, I had originally thought he was a mild-mannered, self-concious, passive aggressive little Mouse. Boy, did he prove me wrong! I had no idea how vain and outgoing and what an insatiable flirt he is! I had so much fun finding out so much more about him! What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?:I'd have to say what happened to Tamis was my favorite of the entire thing because I felt so much for the poor Selkie! Having so MANY of him all around was sad and fun at the same time! I never really got to interract or find out more about Suvius, but the Tamis/poison thing was my absolute favorite! Least favorite?:I can't really say I had a least favorite, but there were a few bits that I just didn't have enough time/patience to find out more about. For example, I was only able to read a few comments people made about SlenderMan. I know his brother was Zacharias, he likes Birds, and he had something to do with cutting open skulls and doubles...but I really didn't get a chance to know any more than that. I would have liked to though! So I can't say I had a least favorite. There were just a few I didn't get a chance to learn about. What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate):I'm really having a hard time coming up with anything. I'm actually reading through others' posts to see if I agree with anything. Yeah, I can't really think of anything at all. No lie. **** EDIT:**** Okay, after a few more entries have been made I have to agree that maybe next time each thread could have a max amount of characters in it at a time. There were spots where there was so many characters in one that when it came time for me to reply I did feel a little overwhelmed. So maybe say there are only "x" amount of characters allowed in a thread. When one or more leave, then a few more can enter! What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?:I hate to sound all brown-nosy and such, but I LOVED THE WHOLE THING AND WANT THE WHOLE THING REPLICATED WITH NEW PLOTS! Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?:A good amount! Each and everyone were worth their weight in gold because the more different kinds of people my Cards meet just gives me more opportunity on how they react to certain types of personalities! NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing):Choosing from the ones I interacted with...um..... None! Srsly. They all helped me learn even just a little bit more about my character. What do you think could be done to improve the contest?:Nothing that I can think of. Maybe something YOU come up with to make it easier on YOU? Because it was perfect for me. I wish it didn't have to end! It was like those old Goosebumps books. Reader, beware! YOU choose the scare! I loved the freedom you gave us during the whole thing! If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?:I would in fact bring in ALL of my characters next time!! This was such a joy!! I don't care about price. Well, I mean, I may not join if each ticket is $20.....but, lol, you get my point. Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to):It's a tie between Ayden and The Mad Jack for me! Ayden was so cute and such a strong character! He was so very well developed it was a joy to read him! But at the same time, the Mad Jack gave me SO MANY FRIGGEN LAWLS I couldn't handle it! XD So, I'm not picking one. I'm picking two. Other comments:ILU! <3 Thank you so, so very much! You have no idea how utterly happy this Event made me/makes me.

Character you feel you developed the best and why: I'd say Colin. He certainly went through a lot, and I got to explore sides of him I hadn't before, or just other sides in different ways. Also, Shelby, because he was forced to actually do something brave and stand up for himself. Lucca-characters tend to be stubborn and resist change, so it's great that they were forced to through this contest. XD What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: Ooooh toughie. I think I really liked the whole ink-poison thing. o.o Just because it's so fascinating and horrible that it could happen to an entire Realm, and I was so excited every time we learned more pieces! And then some of my characters were able to connect the dots, and I was proud of them. Least favorite?: Uhhh. I can't think of anything really. What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): Well, I understand why it was like this, but to me, any thread with more than 4 Dealers in it gets a bit insane to try and post on and keep up with. Also, I do feel there were one or two minor things you overlooked (which is totally understandable considering the insanity you had to deal with!) What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: Everything else! ^^ I loved the flow of it and how all the little pieces kept connecting together. I thought the fights were done well and were very exciting. Also, seconding how awesome it is that you let everything be so malleable and based on our decisions! Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: I thought there were a good amount, and they definitely helped! I loved your NPCs. ^^ NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): Uhhh I think they all added something. Zacharias was annoying but he was the bad guy so he was supposed to be. XD And Graeme got annoyed at Dalphus but I feel bad for the guy. What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: Well, I dunno. I thought it was awesome as it was. If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: Yeah of course I'd still play. ^^ I had lots of fun and I understand that a higher price is fair! Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): Does Don count? I -love- Don. He made me smile with every post. Also, Faust. Bawww poor birdie. ALSO ALSO Argo. Just cuz. Other comments: YOU'RE AMAZING FOR PUTTING ALL THIS ON. I AM IN AWE OF YOUR CREATIVITY.

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Laurel, of course! =D I had Iria involved, and I'm very pleased at the sad, tragic end to her life, but at least she got to go with Ceren. Laurel now has a terrifying, traumatic beginning, and that'll certainly be affecting her for the rest of her life.
What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: Watching Yarrast be a horrible bastard with a tender side that seemed to surprise even him.
Least favorite?: Not being quite as involved in the main plot - I get the feeling that a lot of that was pretty much my own fault though, because I took so long to get you the payment for my ticket.
What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): Don't overwork yourself! =D I was ridiculously impressed by the huge, overarching plot, but geeze, it took a lot out of you. I wonder if it would be possible to have sub-GMs, essentially, where you could give them a specific amount of information and allow them to run parts of the plot for you. That way you wouldn't be as strained with things.
What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: I was utterly blown away by how widespread the plots were, how well they all seemed to interconnect. The stories were powerful and just...yeah. I don't know how to express my joy in it all.
Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: Good amount, as far as I'm concerned! Of course, I only interacted with the one, and hoo boy did he help the character growth. *cough*
[bNPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing):[/b] I'm sorry, was something written here? Oh well, it was probably a silly thing anyway.
What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: I could have gotten you my money sooner. >.> Again, I would also love to see some of the strain taken off of you so that you're not stressing out over this too much.
If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: Gods, yes. I'd definitely pay and play.
Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): *grins* Yarrast, of course. The bastard who revealed a spark of kindness.
Other comments: I am just so blown away by everything that happened here, you have no idea. Thank you so much. I'm sorry that it put you through so much stress, and I'd hope to somehow relieve that in the future. I'd also like to be a bit more involved in a main plot thread. Also, perhaps you could limit either the amount of tickets people could buy, or the number of some sorts they could get? That might make things a little more manageable. Again, thank you so much for everything with this plot!

Character you feel you developed the best and why: As much as Dania is the bland and depressing love of my life, I think Calamity and Joel get top marks for character development! In Joel's case, I found out that he has loyalty, bravery and strength of character beyond what I ever expected. For Cal's part, this contest marked him growing a sense of morality that I never really thought a cannibal could have and still be utterly a cannibal. Plus the interaction between the siblings was pretty intense, and intensely hilarious. It was meaningful to me in a way how they could push each other to the limits and five minutes later be like, 'okay, I love you again now.' A lot like real siblings. What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: I really liked the Suvius/Tamis plotline in terms of major plottage, but I have to say that the fight with undead Lysarus was literally one of the creepier things I've ever seen. That was like genius-level suspense and horror to me.
Least favorite?: I liked all of the plot, and even parts I didn't adore right off the bat I ended up loving lots by the end as I saw how they fit in. I have an utter loathing for plot holes, and I have a feeling that this won't me an issue here as everything will get wrapped up in the ending posts.
What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): Perhaps normalizing slightly the amout/value of prizes each character gets, so that more/better posts are more closely tied to the number of gifts you find? Now, I really had to think hard to come up with this 'complaint', and most of my SDs got an insane amount of stuff, but if I HAD to think of something to improve it would be this.
What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: The plot twists were AMAZING, and I loved the inter-connected plots. I also think the levels of gore/horror were handled with the right amount of WTF-ness without being too heavy-handed and off-putting.
Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: I loved all the NPCs, and Faust definately played into character growth for Dania and Joel! I think less NPCs could also be okay, since I wasn't bothered by the mysterious hints system we had at the very beginning of the contest either. I think fewer NPCs would mean a lot less work for you, since it throws you into the posting order instead of just tossing in a mysterious happening or hint any time you feel like it. I guess more NPCs is more dynamic and realistic way to expose plot, less NPCs means people aren't waiting for your posts so the pressure on you would be slightly less.
NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): I liked them all, actually! I got a little confused by jossigy males group, but that is bound to happen when following eavery single thread! XP
What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: I think either fewer characters per dealer or just fewer per thread might help? It was overwhelming when there were tons of dealers in one thread or tons of characters per post, and in a way it made me feel like every post I made was either "I list how I respond to the actions of every other character, then make one simple action for them to respond to" or "I ignore most of you and just do some stuff". It was by no means bad, but the deepest character growth and interaction happened in smaller cohesive groups among people of approimately equal activity/posting speed. <3 my thread with Lucca.
If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: I would totally still play. To be perfectly honest, I would probably still spend about the same amount of money or just a little more, but if that meant less characters in the plot I would not have any problems with that. So I guess if ticket prices were to double, I'd enter about half as many SDs and be happy about it, money well spent. Something like that.
Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): Well Dania says Faust, of course, but actually I liked Don and Resta for the fun-to-read factor. Piers was also very appealing to me once it became clear that he wasn't, as I originally expected, a 'random encounter monster'. You made everything so much deeper than just people to fight and people to get clues from, and I really appreciated that.
Other comments: This was super fun, and I would hands-down do it again if you could find it in your heart/time/sanity to run another one! I would also be willing and eager to help with it if you needed volunteers, as long as I could still play in some capacity.

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Menefer: Due to him being in places and talking to people that he hadn't would have wanted to have done in the first place has made him a better person, someone that wouldn't be ran over by others when the time arose. What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: I loved the whole Lowlander Josigy war, ^_^. It was confusing, I didn't really get it but it added depth to those realms and more conversation starters for future RP. Least favorite?: I don't think I can think of anything... What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): I can't think of anything, You have far out done yourself! What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: You bound characters that wouldn't have meet in any other time and place and threw them together in do or die situations. This having to expand ones thinking and have to work together to achieve common goals. Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: They helped out bunches, ^_^! NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing):I can't think of any, save the lowlander children at the end of the Cale vs. Rastia make out war'ish thingy? What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: Fewer people in each thread. Personally I felt a little timid from how many people where in the two threads happening. I just felt like it was too much to respond to. If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: I would still play, ^_^. I just wouldn't be able to afford too many tickets. ^_^b Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to):Argo was my fave, ^_^. Other comments: You have out done yourself!!! Way to go Nat!

Character you feel you developed the best and why: Oh geez, this is a toughy. They all changed in their own way, but the most obvious would probably be Fiasco and Farran since I hadn’t played either of them prior to the contest. Farran’s development was a bit of a shocker – I had a lot of history written up for him but had absolutely NO grasp on his actual personality. I would say that he became progressively dumber as the contest went on. Fiasco I’m still struggling with a bit, and Iso’s always a bit of a stinker. Emery, on the other hand, was actually able to be himself and blossom in ways he couldn’t have otherwise. The War gave him a lot to chew on, and I think he’s going to have a really tough time going back to “reality”. What bit of the plot was your favorite and why?: I loved them all, really, but I’d have to say my absolute favorite was probably the Jossigy/Lowland War. It was really heart-wrenching to see Cards react to “having” to choose sides, and how their own prejudices reflected on their interactions with others. The ending of the Cale thread, too, just broke my heart. Such sadness and devastation… The Selkie/Ink plot was a close second, though. Suvius scares me. Haha. Least favorite?: Er, I liked them all. I wish I had been able to keep better track of all the shenanigans, but I thought they were all interesting. What did you feel could use some work on my part? (Please elaborate): I agree with some of the others that a “better” shuffling (hur hur) of Dealers might have helped. There were some threads where it was really apparent that not all the Dealers were on the same posting speeds, but otherwise – how the hell did you manage everything? No wonder you were tired and felt sick a couple times! I lavish praise and goodwill upon thee for juggling everything so well and making it work. *bows to Nat’s awesome* What do you think was done well, so that it can be replicated in the future?: I really loved that we had the freedom to “choose our own adventure” by being offered a variety of options. I also liked that we were encouraged to describe and explore the various buildings and areas with just minor prompting. The plot ideas were great, the violence was “real” but not overdone, and everything flowed rather well considering how huge this project was. Less NPCs or a good amount? Did they help or hinder your character growth?: I thought there was a perfect amount. Just enough to help guide us along, or create interesting situations (vis a vis Piers & SlenderMan) for our characters. NPCs that needed work or were just a pain (eg, added nothing): I thought they were all great. If the NPC and SDs didn’t get along, they made it known or moved on, or tried to work together, so I thought it was fine. (Then again, I didn’t meet all the NPCs, so hard to say…) What do you think could be done to improve the contest?: I also agree with some others that it might be better to limit the amount of Cards that can enter the contest or can be in any thread at one time. Some players had up to three or four SDs in a single thread, so that must have been really hard for them. Also, if there were a limited amount of SDs enterable per Dealer, that might help with fickle muses or being overwhelmed by having to reply to 8 different threads. There were times were it definitely was banana-cakes, and it became difficult to respond to so much going on. Plus, when it became too hectic there were little details missed, or some SDs were left in the dust because it was too overwhelming. OH. And maybe, if possible, ending the contest on a weekend next time? It was hard for me to keep up once I was off work (it was a slow day, luckily) because I was on a different time zone. Saddd. If this is going to happen again I will have to raise the prices (by a few dollars each) due to this consuming a solid chunk of my life and countless hours for very little return. Would anyone still play or would this count you out?: I would so play again. This was a fantastic opportunity to play with some Dealers that I hadn’t before and also just throw the SDs into whacky situations. It helped me grow as a writer/developer as well as my SDs personalities to shape under different circumstances. I had a fantastic time!! Which NPC was your favorite and why? (I have to): I can’t help it, I f*cking loved Don. He’s just the Corvie dude down the street doin’ his thang, yunno? His quirky laid-backness and occasional spastic behavior stole my heart (and Iso’s!) and I would dearly love to see more of him. It was also great to see Mr. Todd in action, though he got laid out so fast, haha. Annnnd what little I saw of Rigsy, I really really liked. I’m really sad he died. OH, and I have a weird attachment to SlenderMan. He’s just so creepy and strange and fun to draw, soo… yeah. Other comments: I don’t think anyone had any real grasp of how BIG this was. I mean, holy crap. And props to Harps for keeping up on everything. I know there’s so much I missed, but now I’ll be able to go back and catch up on everyone’s adventures. SO. MUCH. FUN. Thank you so so much for putting this together. I had a blast and was just amazed at how much thought and structure and flexibility you put into this. Truly, truly amazing. I AM EXCITED FOR WRAP-UP POST. I am positively squirming to know the outcome and effects of the War and what happened to everybody in the end. *wiggles happily*
