She sat in silence as she peered the room she'd been told to wait in by that leveret ... odd looking in her opinion. She detected a bit of the Yarrow in it and if she were right... eugh, it made it all the worse. But she wasn't here to judge, nor was she really one to talk either. After all ... how many times had she been passed on to another Jack? She wasn't even sure how to feel anymore. There was the usual bit of nerves... but beyond that there wasn't much. She was, however, relieved to be free of that one eared Jack ... everything she'd ever been taught told her that getting traded to him was nothing more then a smack to the face. She'd been told all through her youngest years that that was a sign of disgrace and weakness.... But how long was this Warren going to be her home? She didn't exactly have the greatest track record recently ... but she still aimed to make a good first impression. Her lilac tipped, golden fur was groomed to shining perfection and she kept her lop ears perked as best she could for any hints of movement. She knew this was a Jack from that gathering but ... which one?

Anubis rolled his shoulders, running a furred hand over his crested feathers with a content smirk. The thought of meeting his new doe for the first time sent a shiver of pleasure rushing up his spine. It had been a while since he had been truly excited in this sort of fashion. Tripsei had lost her charms, and thus, he had 'lost' her. It was time for her to be traded anyways. It was only by pure luck that he had managed to get such a STUNNING creature in trade. He thought back on the few glimpses he had gotten of her at the party. Golden, glorious, a suiting accessory at his side really. It would be interesting to see if she glimmered as brightly as he remembered. Though he was sure nothing could ever actually match the splendor of real gold. The imitation alone was enough to interest him though. His heavy feet padded down the earthen hallway until he reached her door. Anubis' nose twitched idly as he reached forwards to push the door open, walking slowly into her room.

Lilac dipped ears swiveled forward as well as lop ears could ... this Jack had a heavy step that was certain. At least this being the Jack she was meeting coming being an educated guess... no sane jack would allow a rabbit to tromp around their warren in such a manner... would they?
When he paused before the door she looked away from it, pretending that she had been contently staring at the wall instead of waiting. However, when he entered, she peered over her shoulder coyly, amethyst orbs taking in first his adornments, golden armor was hard to ignore, and then his features .... interesting. On looks alone he reminded her more of Vikenti then Leon, a good thing really, and she did remember him from the party as well. This was the one she'd caught glancing at her on more then one occasion, but at that point she'd crossed it off as her own imagination delving into the realms of wishful thinking ... she really wasn't anything special ... never had been, never would.
She remained silent, not yet knowing whether or not this was one of those speak only when spoken to Jacks or not, but she did give a courteous nod as a greeting.

The Jack took a step into the room, stopping silently in the doorframe. A large smile broke across his face as the Doe coyly glanced back over her shoulder at him. Just as stunning as he remembered, and not a spoken word. Very promising.
"I trust you find your quarters suitable?" Anubis asked as he hand gestured to the room in it's entirety. "It is the largest of the Does rooms, though I admit, it could use some decorations."
Almost unconsciously he reached out to the flowers that Laurelin had picked that morning. He watched them for a moment as a golden sheen spread over them at the light brush of his fingertips. It was something he could only do once a month, and he supposed, it was worth it to impress his new Doe.
((Jack's Ability: Once a month he is capable of changing an object (not a living creature) half his size or smaller into pure gold.))
His eyes moved back to hers and he inclined his head in question, awaiting her response.

Violet eyes scanned the room once more, she'd already investigated it thoroughly but, really .... it couldn't hurt to take it all in once more. It was rather nice, actually, perhaps even better then what she'd had at Vikenti's warren, and a soft little smile graced her maw when her gaze returned to the Jack. Initially she'd been curious about hte whole... Torquehelm thing, she'd heard such tales and seen such sorry members of the realm, but a freed Jack? It was something new, and he did appear to have a taste for the finer things, she could liek it here, she could .... if he didn't do a complete flip in personality of course .... or find some pretty little doe he liked better. The thought made her nose twitch, nope ... she wasn't going to let that happen again ....
Oh yeah, words .... those would probably do well at this point, yes?
They're more then suitable, they're wonderful .... thank you.
And, decorations? Her ears perked as much as the lopped variety could .... did he mean to actually give her things? That was ... a first. She'd always been jealous of the pretty little adornments all the other does seemed to possess, her father had neglected to doll her up any because he'd always thought her fur was far prettier then any strand of gold .... and she wasn't ever the type to ask a Jack for anything. But, what was he doing?
She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly and peered at the flowers, her eyes widening a bit as she watched them go from normal to golden with a brush of his fingertips. Now that.... that was amazing. She'd never seen anything quite like that, and her amazement made her slip from her strict manners momentarily.
That, that's fantastic. They're .... they're wonderful. I've .... never seen anything like that! Oh.... sorry... I ....
Her ears drooped a bit when she realized she was babbling like a child.... oy, how embarrassing.

Anubis watched her reaction curiously, hoping that it would have the effect he wished. And when it did he dipped his head and laughed quickly before stopping himself. She was so innocent yet it seemed, even though he knew she'd been with at least two Jacks before himself. Even if it was just an act, it was certainly working and he was willing to 'let' himself be fooled. It excited him, truth be told.
He stood a little more upright and schooled his features back to neutral. With a gesture of his hand he motioned towards the hallway, his decorations jingling a little with the movement.
"I'm sure Laurelin showed you straight to your quarters, but I'll not have you getting lost in my Warren. I believe a quick tour is in order."
With that he moved out into the hallway, just assuming she was following behind.
