After visiting Mori he just wanted to get everything over with. He wasn't entirely sure if he would be meeting a liar or someone who really was innocent. Keeping a low profile was more challenging than he had hoped, but he ultimately made it to the hotel without too much trouble.
With the letter tucked away in his corset he enter the hotel, his eyes scanning the room for someone from Beyan. A small part of him tensed. He had never actually had a problem with the realm, not until the recent epidemic, and now he had to deal with Gigi. Bias wasn't something he wanted to have so he did his best to keep an open mind.
"Miss... Jordan?" he asked as he approached the pine martin, she was the only one around who could be the Jordan. When he got proper confirmation he would cast his lie detector spell to start the little interview. "I'm was sent by the Court of Diamonds, my name is Ezekiel."
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can cast a lie-detector spell on a card off any suit and of a rank lesser or equal to their own, once per day. Cards of equal rank would be aware of the spell, but cards of lesser rank would not.
Small Headband Ability: His eyes are now a brilliant purple, they sparkle in the light and look amazingly enticing and beautiful. Cards ranked 7 or lower will be astounded by the beauty of his eyes and will feel a desperate need to be in his company. Higher ranking Cards might be able to ignore the "pull" he exudes, but they will still feel hints of it.

The woman jumped slightly when Ez called out, spinning to face him with an expression that was wide-eyed and haunted. At the sight of the Lakelander standing in front of her, her heart stopped in her chest for a moment - until her eyes fell upon the mark on his breast. The rest of his statement only confirmed her hopes.
But still... Why would the Diamonds send a Selkie? It was like the ghost of the things she should have done, standing right in front of her... All the same, it seemed only fitting. And maybe, just maybe, she could find some form of retribution through the dashing young sparrow.
"Ayup, I'm she," she said softly, then remembered herself and bowed low. "Forgivin' any disrespect, Majesty, I was surprised ta see a Queen sent ta me, is all." At least this meant they were taking the case seriously... And now that she was no longer blinded by surprise at the man's presence and his vivid Selkie coloring (how long had it been since she'd seen those beautiful swirls, unmarred with that horrible yellow?), she found he had a soothing quality to him. Jordan let herself be completely swept away by the light enchantment, her mind desperate for some form of comfort.

The sparrow didn't really likeness. He had never had a problem with the realm until the fairly recent tragedy. And he was standing in front of a woman who could potentially be a mass murderer. He had his doubts. Quite a few as he was standing there and watching the woman silently. His ability was cast so he could just chat her up and be on with his mission.
"I wish we could have met under better circumstances," the sparrow as charmingly as he possibly could without sounding fake. "I would like to have a chat with you before we head off to the Court of Diamonds. There are a few questions I need to ask you about your experience before you see the Queen, you know formalities and such. May we sit down and take and make ourselves comfortable for the time being?"
This would be quick and painless, at least he hoped. At least she had picked a public place so he didn't have to be insistent.
