Holy Carp that's an awesome ending. I feel horrible for the poor Lowlanders, that's an awful way to die. *shudders*
I... would like to express my amusement that Eurwen's tail feathers ended up being a magical item.
Also.... have to say the sexy underwear cracks me up. A lot.
There's so much to comment on, everything's so damn awesome and my brain doesn't want to form proper sentences. Othello would like to say he's mildly freaked out that he's now capable of seeing the present. And I am amused that Faith and Eloise fussed over Jo.

I would first like to say: I'm with Greenie, that underwear is the best.
Wow. The Lowlands. Victor is at quite a loss for words. As for Ayden "renting", Victor says: "If you want to move in, there's plenty of room. You bought it, and we got to look out for each other, mate. As things stand, my home is your home." (not to mention Victor has NO IDEA what to do with all that space. XD Even with a small home, all to himself? It's so... empty!)

I am so impressed by this, lady. I love what you've done and I'm just shocked at the outcome. So excited to play things out from here.

Very cool stuff. The Lowlands too? OMG. Secretly, Merlin is not as distraught as he really thinks he should be. I don't think he really gave a crap about the realm as a whole, though having his children AND Victor disappeared was enough to make him maybe flip his lid for the amount of time he's aware they're gone.
I think Mikael no doubt got the best item ever. You should all be jealous of Mikael's epic underwears. That is… Amazing. I can just imagine him putting them on in the privacy of his room.
A few questions though:
Did Charlie's leg heal? What happened to him overall? What sort of long term effects should I expect from my poor gimped up baby?
Also because I'm a curious face.. what was on that photograph that Brandy picked up that Suvius dropped?

Good questions, guys:
1. Sabe's Mome and Blobling ought to get along...well enough, though the Mome may dislike it quietly to herself. Yes, the Blob leaves a sticky residue that comes off with soap and water.
2. Charlie's leg healed, though it had to be re-broken for it to set properly, making it a little shorter than the other leg and giving him a slight limp. Otherwise, he has a small multitude of scars, a missing wattle, and a chipped beak. He looks quite the dangerous Ace.
The photo Brandy picked up showed a Feline Bird mix, and older Selkie, and a Marten Benyan woman, older than Suvius, arm in arm and smiling. They looked funny and happy. The words Mum 'n Dad were scrawled under them.
3. The box Arpeggio carried held an odd incense that, when inhaled directly, (when opened) caused everyone to pass out for half an hour. There are three sticks. Tell me if anyone takes them. <3 And who.
You did not figure out why the Queens in the attic were in such a state in the Court of Spades, I can't tell you here, it's an on going thing.
4. Unless the character notes stated explicitly that your character KNOWS who its parent is (or it's Yarrast's children), then they have no idea who their parent is and will not know.
However.
For all of you to add to your notes.
Look at your a'splode babies.
Now back at me.
Now, back to them: Do they have Rabbit ears?
If so, then they are a child of Argo.
Are they a Donkey mix?
If so, then they are a child of Yarrast.
Are they neither of the above?
If not, then they are a child of Zacharias.
Zach had a Corvie friend (that he killed when he ceased to be useful) who made extraordinary discoveries in the field of breeding techniques and advances.
Too bad he never got to really use them.
