While Jak tended to Mili, Kieran dealt with the unconscious King. The man was dragged (with some effort, Kieran was not exactly a master of physical strength) out of the main room and into the private room that the strange man had claimed for his own. There was an idea beginning to form in his mind, and he needed to wait for Apocalypse to wake up.
This would be set to rights. It would. A quiet growl escaped Kieran as Apocalypse started to stir.
The man shifted, sitting on the King's chest, wings folded like a tent around them. There would be no way for him to escape just yet.

While Jak set about caring for her, Mili floated on the edge of consciousness. The water around her body was soothing even in the odd dream-state she had found herself caught in, but as it slowly began to cool around her, it pulled her gently back into the world. She lay very still in the tub, staring up at the ceiling and then glancing down at her own body.
There was blood in the water. Blood, but no sign of an injury on her. Hesitantly she raised a paw and touched at her throat, the memories slowly returning to her. There was a strange man in her home, fighting with her Jak. There had been a pain that was almost blinding in its severity, and then blood, and then... blackness. She'd thought that she was dead, but she was awake and alive and well. Her eyes slipped closed and a quiet sigh escaped her, relief seizing her like a welcome embrace. She was alive. And she was in the bath, which meant someone had been alive to care for her - her Jak.
Carefully, she stepped out of the tub, walking into the other room once she had dried off. "Jak...?[/b]" she said quietly, voice sounding a little scratchy - thought not nearly as bad as it could have sounded, she reflected.
