That actually does sound like a lot of fun. Minus the potential property damage, I'd love to trade you guys lol.
We've got an 'extreme heat wave warning' going on and it's absolutely miserable. Today is so far the lowest low (but it's still 89* with 39% humidity). It's going to be 112 today, with all that humidity too. We're breaking records everyday and I can't leave my fan for like 5 minutes without getting drenched >.<

Hey guys!
We were in the outer edge of the hurricane and... of course we lost power. Have no idea when it will be back. <3 I'm only on the internet because of the magical joy of a generator. *salutes*
And the power company finally informed PA how many people are without power. In my county it happens to be over 32,000. We just so happen to be the worst of County in PA. Yay! Might... not get power for a few days. <3

It's just until the hurricane passes and power is back on.
And they are all 12 or 14 hours and sometimes there is even overtime! Good thing there are only a few big storms a year.
At least he gets to wear a hardhat and steel toe boots. So MANLY! lol.

Harps, steel-toed boots ARE the manliest. My work boots have kicked much butt in their day. It is a well-known fact that boots + beacon on your rig = godlike power.

Hope everyone's still doing well despite the weather shenanigans (poor Gobbo!). I spent all weekend nursing a cold and it has been hard to brain... I will try to get to my ticket threads later this afternoon or tonight, if possible.

HA HA HA so not even ten minutes after I posted in here last night, we had total power failure in my town to like three towns over.
The West Coast is having sympathy pains.
