And rethought a bit- perhaps she'll angle for a bipedal form instead of an up in rank. Then she'd actually have rank and form appropriate to more showy and easy labor. Why should she try for something like that when she can stay as she is, have the diamond suit to keep her in the niceties, have just number enough for high-class work, and potentially have a bipedal form to show off?
