Stats
ID: SD214
Name: Wiglaf
Suit: Hearts
Rank: Ace
Gender: Male
Animal: Equine (Percheron)
Region: Sorgaire Range
Note: He is a ghost that can only be seen by Beowulf. He can interact with his friend easily and has the ability to move small objects (weighing half a pound or less) once a week. He has been honing this ability since his demise.
Spiritual Boost: He is now able to travel up to 50 miles away from Beo three times a day for up to an hour each time. He may go where he wishes, though he still cannot affect the real world on many levels...he can at least now visit those who can see and speak to him.
Especially since, for some reason, he is able to mentally locate those who can see him at any time.
Benign Ability: Once a week, he is now able to whisper one sentence (a proper one) to another Card that ought not be able to hear him.
This sentence may not be spoken above a whisper, but it could help save lives if he's in the right place at the right time...

Basic Information
Hoofed Mammals: The Hoofed Mammals are a bit harder to find about the countryside than some of the other breeds. They tend to stay away from watery Realms and favor hard-packed ground over which they are excellent sprinters. They are usually in the forms of deer, horses, and gazelles, though others have been spotted.
Ace: Aces are seen as the degenerates of society. They are beneath even the meanest Club and some parents, upon receiving one, are so horrified that they kill them at once. Aces will never possess magical abilities, never be able to rise above their rank, and never be able to attain a Human form. Aces are not respected by anyone and even some members of other Courts, such as the Cats and Jacks, feel that it is beneath them to speak to an Ace as an individual. Aces do the most repugnant jobs and are frowned upon by all. Most Aces tend not to recognize Suits, as an Ace is an Ace and everyone treats them like dirt, but occasionally an Ace of Hearts or Diamonds will attempt to lord that small status over other Aces.
Aces can only breed with other Aces, though an Ace can result from any breeding.
Heart: The Claw Hearts are a bit rarer in society, and are also the most revered. For parents to receive a Heart as a child is a blessing and a delight, as the child will probably bring them power that they do not have. The ferocity and short temper of the Suit is legendary, but not necessarily true for all in the Suit. Hearts have a tendency towards recklessness and wildness in their actions, though their ability to muster power at the snap of their fingers is most assuredly true and remarkable. It serves them well as the most feared and respected of the Suits.
The symbol of the Hearts, the Claw, is most fitting, as there is nothing more brutal than to be hit in the face with something sharp; be it their wit, their magic, or their fist, the experience won't be pleasant. Hearts tend to delight in the fact that they are represented as ruthless and unkind. Some of them feel that power cannot truly be gained with kindness, though others resent the fact that their friendships are all superficial and that their lovers are all two-faced. They may attempt to make themselves seem different.
Basic Magical Ability: All Hearts can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to an hour, depending on the willpower of the individual.
Sorgaire Range: Residents are usually slate colored with a white-speckled underbelly and dark blue facial markings that continue down the spine. They have a higher than normal chance for mane mutations and, when a mane appears, it is almost always silvery.
Residents of the Sorgaire Range have little to fear from invading forces or a lack of resources. Though the mountain range is mostly rocky and barren, they are often supplied with cheap food and other supplies from the Josiggy Marsh to ensure that they don't assist those in the Lowlands and keep to the treaties they have written up for them. Lithe and camouflaged, the members of the Range have an easy enough time blending into their surroundings and avoiding conflicts that may occur around them. Elsewhere, their coats are often praised for their simple beauty and are admired by many for not being too flashy or gaudy. Intelligent and aspiring to greatness, many Range dwellers will leave to seek placement in the Courts, though they do not obsessively pursue achievements like those from Morganberry. They are prized for their quick wit and dry sense of humor toward daily life. A Range dweller is a must-have for otherwise dull work places and palace managers. The members of the Range often carry with them a piece of stone from their home. Losing it could cause the owner much grief. Range dwellers are neutral in many stances and some have an incredibly difficult time making decisions about anything. They are ambivalent toward most other Realms and could take them or leave them depending on circumstance, or personal experience.
