Some creatures; such as high level spades, can call forth companions, or purchase them at the shop. They can be of wondrous use to you SD critter.
Types:
Slithey Toves: Slithey Toves were discovered living in small caves underneath of the Villa en Miir. They are thin and lithe, almost snakelike in appearance, and have the ability to glide through the air. They are affectionate and loving to their owners and many have special powers.
The owner of a Slithey Tove can call and dismiss the creature at will once it has been taught where to appear when it is dismissed (Like at the SD's home or a particular place in town). If not taught, it will appear back in its cave home and the owner may lose it for good. This is only applicable for Spades, other SD will be unable to summon the creatures, thought they make excellent pets and come when you call on most occasions.
Slithey Toves can also be summoned by the owner speaking their name. They are very affectionate and will promptly answer when called, unless they have been neglected and gone feral.
Mome Raths: Mome raths were discovered on the verge of the Tulgey Wood and are said to posses even stranger powers than the Slithey Toves. They are more difficult to find and more expensive at the shop, but can assist your critter if they have need.

Mome Raths can become affectionate, but it is harder to earn their trust. Many owners become neglectful toward their Mome Raths out of spite to the little jerk when it breaks another lamp.
They tend to appear as small, plant-like creatures, almost reminiscent of hedgehogs, and can be any color imaginable.
