Hey guys. Just posting that I'm going to disappear the next 2 days. Gotta get stuff all ready to go back to school for the first time in 4 1/2 years on Sept 8th. Get my books, get my laundry/room cleaned, get paper where it needs to be. And finally go out and find a backback 0o
I think I also need to rent a parking spot and figure out how the heck to get my own locker. I'm honestly just not going to let myself check the board over the next 2 days to make sure I get everything done. See ya peeps on Monday! :3

Wow. They have lockers? XD I didn't know colleges had lockers. None of the ones I went to did, anyways.
Oh neat. Thomas just told me College of Charleston had lockers in certain areas. Neeeat...

Yus, lockers. Still haven't figured out where to go to get one 0o I'll use my car as a locker until it gets too cold and I get annoyed. Lmfao. Going for orientation on either Tue/Wed/Thur not sure yet. We'll see when I feel like going. I have to say, it's weird, going to pay for everything/set up everything completely on my own. And all I see is fresh teenyboppers straight out of high school toddling around behind their parent(s). o0

I'm afraid I'm going to end up being one of those people that realizes too late how old they really are when they go back to college YEARS after they stopped going in the first place. o.O;;
I don't want to be the oldest person in my classes! lol

One of the most awesome classmates I ever had was in... either her super-late forties or her really early fifties. I'm guessing forties. Her name was Andrea, she worked for the school as an administrative assistant, and she was getting her business degree at the same time. We were partners in our senior business capstone course.
It just didn't matter how much older she was than everyone else in the room. She worried about it a little, but ultimately settled into an excellent groove. We just meshed so perfectly while working on projects and homework. She was the best. <3 Graduated the same day I did.

You know Jenn, that's about the best encouragement I've heard this far, and actually made me feel quite a bit better about going back <3 Thanks

I'm really glad it helped, and I know Andrea would be flattered if she knew. I mean, her daughter was older than me and there she was, fretting about projects and homework and her job along with the rest of us. If she could do it - and excel - then you totally can. <3
