AU fic. This is wot would happen if Aderlass was the Queen and someone betrayed him.
~~~
Everything narrowed to what the messenger card was telling him. Even after having sworn their allegiance to him someone had betrayed him. He could not believe it. How dare they, to even think it! He saw nothing but red.
Then there was only anger.
“Those #@&=$*%’s! How dare they! They know the rules and their action’s consequences and yet they still decide to pay no heed to them?” He shouted out into the room that had suddenly grown silent when the messenger had arrived.
Aderlass was pissed, beyond pissed, and there would be nothing that anyone could do to cool him off till he was able to give the penalty – and cause mass destruction in the outlet of that anger. It was known that he did not take betrayal lightly; the penalty was severe for even the smallest crime of it. He would show them, and everyone else, that he was serious about the rules he had set forth. While he usually prided himself on his ability to keep his temper in check, there were just some things that he did not see worth hiding his reaction to. This was one of them.
His clenched and unclenched his ever burning white hands. He gripped the arm rests to the throne he was sitting in, melting them until only a mass of metal remained. Giving a small chuckle to himself of delight at the sight of the destruction of the intricately designed throne now being a mass melted metal he stood up, pulling himself to his full height in bi-pedal form.
Someone was going to pay. Oh, yes, and they would regret that they had ever managed to actually tick him off. And he would enjoy every single moment of it.
Moving forward down the center way, he touched anything that was metal in his path as he went, melting things till they no longer were in a recognizable shape. Glass objects of decorations were thrown against the walls causing the glass to shatter, anything made of wood he burned, enjoying the flames.
When a lower card made the blunder of getting in his way, his mistake sealed his fate, the poor creature. Grabbing the creature with his bare hands he watched as it squirmed trying to get away from the searing pain that now gripped his body. When the creature had finally stopped moving, probably having passed out from the torment – he did not care enough to check for life – he tossed it aside, admiring the paw prints that were now permanently marring the body.
He admired his work for only a moment before he continued on his path. He knew who had caused these feelings and he would be sure that they paid the consequences. No one got away with something like this. No one.
Grabbing the metal doors that led out of the large room he melted them, to the point that unless someone worked on them they would never fully close again, leaving the room in total disorder and chaos.
Yes, someone was going to pay. Dearly.
The moral of the story is: Don't piss off the red mouse with horns. xD
