Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can call forth and dismiss a small familiar that is unique to the individual. This only affects the ground the person is standing on directly, and if they begin to fly the spell is nullified. Any Card ranked King or lower will be unable to stay on two feet and will only be able to move reliably in animal from, Queens and Jokers may have an easier time of it. Queen's Ability: Once a week, he is now able to cause an opponent's right hand to simply melt in under three seconds. Their left will then twist in on itself...it will still be "functional", but barely and holding items will be nearly impossible. This process is rather painful and the spell lasts for a full five minutes. If he uses this spell on other Queens, his own left hand will mimic theirs and the agony will be his as well for the duration of the spell, though he will still posses his right hand with no damage. Glass NecklaceOn your birthday, you receive:
A small, incredibly thin, glass necklace with a glass pendant at the end. It seems to shine even when there is no light to reflect. Though this would not be enough to give the wearer away in the dark, the effect is quite dazzlingly pretty. It feels oddly tingly to the touch and the wearer may feel slightly dizzy for a few moments right after putting it on.
When an SD wears this necklace, they will be able to perceive things via others' reflections. This can be a reflection in anything, a mirror, water, mud, a spoon, whatever reflects the other SD's face will do.
Upon seeing this reflection, the bearer of this necklace will be able to see the other person's true intentions/emotions. Their fcaial expressions will show their strongest emotion, and their bodies will act out what it is they really wish to do. (ie: If another SD wanted to attack the bearer, their reflection would show their faces either twisted in glee, horribly angry, or hair-raisingly impassive; depending on the creature's reasons for wanting to kill the bearer. Their body would also be reaching desperately for the bearer, almost seeming to be shoving at the glass in an attempt to throttle them.)
Only the bearer can see these reflections, others only see a normal reflection. But the wearer should be warned: over time this necklace will begin to have a severely odd effect on the SD's ability to perceive reality as it truly is any longer... If worn for too long...the actual lines between reality and these reflections could blur.
Something...might get out. ^ No longer in effect Necklace Power Boost: When threatened or exceedingly angry, the necklace will feel very warm to the owner and vibrate lightly against the chest for a split second. It will then emanate a field of darkness that not even other SD's abilities can see through. This darkness will last for a full hour and only the necklace bearer can see through it. At random points, the necklace will flare bright flashes of light at an opponents face, causing them extreme pain if their eyes are opened and even after the darkness wears off their eyes will ache. There will be a 50% chance that the opponent will need glasses of some sort after an encounter with the darkness spell. Necklace Rupture Ability: All previous abilities held by the necklace are now nullified with exception to the blackout ability which now functions through his eyes, even though it operates in the same way. His eyes have become the same washed out, red/blue that the pendant used to be all the way over, no whites are visible. His eyes have a glossy sheen to them and no one can tell if he is focusing on them or not. There is however a new ability that has made itself known in the back of his mind. Once a week, he is now able to cause mirrors around him to shatter into dust. This dust will then form a thick choking cloud that will surround one person's head for a full minute. The dust causes their lungs to burn horribly for one full day and will force them to cough violently for the fist thirty seconds they are forced to experience it. In order for this to work, he must be around a mirror or it will simply fail. Necklace Rupture mutations and Effects: The necklace exploded outward forcefully when it finally overloaded. Since Mia was lying at an odd angle on top of it, his chest is now filled with sharp, glass shards that stick out strangely and cannot be removed. After a few days, the skin will heal around them flawlessly and he will no longer be pained by them. The necklace's powers wrapped around his body as they were released and made their new home evident as the same spirals that once grace his neck as an ornament, now grow from his skin. Starting at the collarbone, thin, glass spirals grow out down his arms and torso. The flying glass also severed his binding, leaving the wires dangling uselessly from his rings. This would horrify any Torquehelm mix who had not freed themselves purposefully and will probably have an adverse effect on his psyche. <---Rolled a d20 to see if that would happen...it did XD[/blockquote] Bone Bracelet This tiny bracelet is very plain but rather shiny, polished and pretty enough. It is a very tight fit and would be rather hard to remove. It glows at midnight and could have adverse effects if broken or removed each doing a different thing, one a blessing, one a curse. Bracelet Ability: Once a week, he will find he is now able to cause fine bone spikes to protrude from his upper arms that curve outward toward an opponent like hooks. They will only last for one minute before retracting, but they are very dangerous and their jagged ends could really do some damage. Sadly, it does hurt quite a bit as they come out. Charcoal Blackened MirrorThis floor-length mirror has a large crack down the center and small spiderweb fractures around the very edges. Its silver frame is coated in black soot with little pieces missing every carving or so.
Upon closer inspection, one can see that the carvings are of small Aces all with dumb or disappointed faces. Their eyes are oddly...soulful, almost seeming alive and broken looking.
When gazed into, one can see small, dark images skirting the edges of the frame. It's nearly impossible to make out quite what they are, but their eyes will catch the light on occasion, and when Hearts look into the mirror, the images will cringe as though terrified of impending pain. Once touched, it will bind itself to its one owner, granting them the ability to, once a month, change any surface into a slick mirror that will reflect anyone near it as an Ace except for the caster. The people reflected as Aces will have their abilities rectified and restricted for time periods depending on their rank. Queens will not be able to use their 2-10 ranked abilities for a full thirty seconds, Kings will not be able to use their 2-Jack ranked abilities for a full thirty seconds, Jacks will not be able to use any of their ranked abilities for a full minute, 9-10 will not be bale to use any of their abilities for a full minute (ranked or not), and 8 and below will have any magical abilities revoked for a full five minutes.
Mirror Boost: Once a week, this SD is now able to summon a small army of five terrified looking Aces from the mirror. Two Avington/Corvie mixed Canines (a boy and a girl), One Morganberry/Torque Hawk (female), One Lowland Deer (male), and one Biped Sorgaire/Highland Ferret/Cat (male). All of the Aces are Clubs and they will all obey their master to the point of death. The Aces can be out of the mirror for a full hour before they simply vanish back into its depths. All of them have some sort of horrifying wound/s placed all over their bodies, especially the Lowlander (who is missing his lower jaw), and though they move slowly, they will attack with an incredible ferocity on behalf of their master. The Canines will refuse to be split up, the Hawk hates the Lowlander and is perfectly intelligent, the Lowlander is rather lovable and will sob when forced to kill...he could speak were he able, and the Biped is about as intelligent as a stubborn seven year old...though he looks more like forty. These Aces will all run from Hearts as though they are about to be set on fire, only the Hawk will still attempt to battle them. Red Leather GlovesThese finely tanned leather gloves tingle a little when placed on. After a few seconds it almost feels as though they are on fire! Unable to remove them, the wearer will feel rather extreme pain for a full 10 seconds before the sensation dies down to a tingle again. Yikes! Once a week, they allow the owner to know what the first attack against them will be in a battle. They may not be able to block it, but they will be better prepared for it.
