Located in the far end of the Bazaar...the slums if you will, an old pair of shoppes have re-opened. They are set directly next to one another, connected by a Jack-and-Jill door between.
This shoppe on the left has a thin, slanted roof covered in ceramic shingles with an old-fashioned oak door. The front of the shoppe is grey stone, dusty and cracked. The shoppe looks unkempt and somewhat moldy. A brass plaque set into the stone looks fairly new, proclaiming the shoppe to be:
Upon shoving open the heavy door, which slides silently on the dust, you can see the inside of the shoppe. Mostly empty and barren, the floorboards are covered with dust, and grime lines the edges of the windows. A barbers chair is in the center of the room. It looks slightly forbidding, covered in cracking black leather, with some of the metal frame showing through. Against the far right wall is a door that leads to the shoppe next to it. The rest of the right wall is taken up by a dingy, slightly cracked mirror and an old wooden table. This table is filled with bottles, jars, pairs of scissors, small pots, and a tiny decorative brown box.
The far left side of the room has another door, which leads presumably to the living quarters of the shoppe owner.
As you glance around, the door to the living quarters creaks open and a tall Biped steps out.
"What're you doin' in 'ere?" he growls, his voice gravelly and low, his sunken eyes moving quickly about the room to see if anyone else has followed you in. "You 'ere fer a shave, or summat else? I've got loads of fings...can do almost anyfing imaginable for you...as far as yer looks go." He looks less than thrilled, gesturing to the table laden with items. He holds a thin silvery object in his hand which he quickly stows in his pocket.
Before you can even move further into the shoppe, he turns about and hands you a small sheet of paper. On it is a list of printed options and prices.
"You'll pay first, then you look o'er that sheet there an' tell me what it is you wan'. Then I'll get to work."
He moves over to his table and appears to be arranging a few things. "You finished yet? Good, please...have a seat."
Please do not post to this thread as it is a shoppe header rather than a full shoppe like Cauter's or Ashwin's. Start a new thread in the Outer Bazaar with the name of the shopkeep you would like to see in parentheses.
When interacting with Mr. Todd, realize that he is prone to violence. You may leave with a small injury if you do not specify that you do not want one, though you can decide where the scars could be. He is highly unlikely to harm women unless heartily threatened or brow-beaten, but men are a different story. Mr. Todd will never kill without a Dealer's permission and is far more likely to kick you out of the shoppe than kill you. Please have fun with Mr. Todd...but do not torment Mr. Todd unless you really want a fancy scar, or to see him in action.
