((Insofar...this whole thread delights meeee... <3)) Finistris raised his eyebrows. Really...?"Is that so? Well, I have yet to see anyone so promising looking into the Diamonds Court...the only one of any worth there now is that Sparrow...Theofilius, I believe his name is. Good mind he has...but not much spirit unless you talk about his children. My other half found that out quickly enough."The expression on the young Lowlander's face made it impossible to doubt that he, at the very least, believed this statement in the fullest sense...he would have to insist to his other half that they find a way to witness the battle that would have to occur someday... The next question nearly caused him to laugh again. Really, this rat was pretty perceptive, much more fun than the idiots and needy whiners that Varestes usually sent his way. "This in no mere imaginary experience, dear Osias, I am as real as you are...though perhaps in a different sense. Thus, so is Saresh here."He gave the Highlander another, none too gentle shake. "Depending on what you do or say to him as he is pulled apart, he may cease to exist as Saresh...
Break him, Osias..."The man hissed, leaning forward over the trembling Highlander's head, his teeth were oddly pointed...eyes glinting dully in the light were almost orange. "Break him like he broke your mother...Tell him why he deserves this pain, why he doesn't deserve to look at your face, much less be allowed to apologize to you."He chuchkled as he leaned back, and then stepped away, moving off to the side near a grayish stone wall, leaning into the frigid cold the stone held. "Too little...too late..."Saresh gazed helplessly at his son, eyes wide as he subconsciously fiddled with the hanging flaps of flesh over his belly. "O-Osias..son, please?"((This fight will be conducted like any other, make no assumptions on the part of Saresh and let us begin the beating if Osias shall have it! > ))

He watched Finitris' face carefully as he spoke, and found the reaction to be to his liking and thus he believed him, or perhaps he just wanted to show Saresh what he really thought of him? The rat didn't seem to understand it in the form of words. His tail twitched and stiffened for a moment, before it relaxed again and a wicked little grin returned to his maw. His gaze slowly slipped back to Saresh and the grin broadened into something that was halfway between a sneer and a downright maniacal smile.
When Finistris hissed those three words to him, his stance changed and his muscles contracted in anticipation, hair standing on end. He flexed his fingers before taking a moment to crack them, doing it rather quickly. He had no powers that would help him here, he didn't carry any weapons, having abandoned his dagger long ago, but he had his fists and an incomprehensible amount of built up rage at his present target. He'd had decades to dwell on his treachery, and he intended to work it all out here and now.
He didn't notice that the other man had moved away, but did note his absence around the broken rat before him. Had he been anyone else, his heart would have probably felt a small tinge of pity, but he was who he was and Osias was himself as well, and no such feeling crossed him.
He straightened his shoulders and moved in a rather casual appearing circle, with Saresh in the middle should the fool stay put. He was sizing him up, and calculating the amount of decay he'd received, and figuring his weakest points would be where his flesh had rotted, especially where bone was showing. The circle he made would slowly bring him in closer, again if the fool stayed put, until it suddenly ceased and he wasted no time in balling hist fist and swooping in, aiming low on the highlanders rib cage.
[[ I'm a bit rusty at fights, this'll be good for me <3 And terribly fun for my boy to boot <3]]

Saresh watched his son prowled around him in a mild panic, he didn't want to fight him, he had come back so that he could apologize!
Granted...it was a little late after what he had allowed to happen, but still. This was his son, his only son.
"Osias, please...listen to me. Even if you won't forgive me, you have to leave this place. Being a Jack doesn't matter as much as-"
His words were cut off as his son's fist sank into his chest, past some of the rotting flesh and connecting with brittle bone. There was another rather loud snap, made all the louder by the stillness of the area, and the Highlander fell to his knees, eyes wide with shock that this could be happening to him.
"S-son, please! You have...to leave this place!"
The rat wheezed, trying his best to ignore the grinding pain as he tried to breathe easy.
Finistris leaned against the wall, waiting for the Lowlander to begin telling his father why he was doing this, he could wait...he knew it would be good.
The Human reached into the darkness of the stone behind him, finding a small niche and pulling out a small flask and two thin glasses. Perhaps once the Highlander was sent off again, he could interest Osias in a drink...he deserved it, he did.

He was out of his own head at present, beyond the point of listening to any sort of reason that his victim, now just a faceless obstacle in his way, could give. However, a part of him stirred at the ease at which he hit his mark. He returned, partially, with a shiver that traveled down the length of his somewhat protruding spine, one of simple pleasure and not disgust. Not only could he hear the brittle snaps of the bones behind his fist, but he could feel them break as well. He was not accustomed to this, but he liked it... and he wanted to feel it more. However, Finistris' request ran through his mind, and he began to honor it.
That, was to prove that I could lay a hand on you.
The corners of his maw, which had been drawn tightly together beforehand, now twisted and parted revealing all of those yellowed fangs, delight dancing within those somewhat darker golden visionaries, darker then his father's of course. Instead of pulling his fist from the inside of the other rat, he used this opportunity to unclench his fist and do a bit of searching, fondling what organs the corpse still had, should he remain still throughout this.
And this will be for for killing my brothers, simply because you were asked to... you miserable puppet.
And, taking his other hand and balling it into a fist, turning a bit and readying himself to put all his shoulder into it, he swung at the rat's face, ears flicking forward to listen carefully should any connection occur. He preferred his combat to be up close and personal, and it showed, more so then he'd generally like it to.

The look on his son's face was enough to make Saresh's voice run cold. The boy had never acted like this, he had always been able to enact some form of control! What on earth had happened to change him like this?
What his son said as he broke Saresh's rib chilled him further.
So that was what-
Saresh squealed, his voice actually breaking as his son began pulling at various organs.
"I know! I know! I know what I did was terrible, you have to believe me son I- AUGH! Please, Osias!"
The fist connected with Saresh's face, five teeth splintering and falling from the rotting jaw, the eye crammed so far into the socket that it ceased to function.
Saresh swung his hand up suddenly and violently, aiming his overgrown claws at his son's face, anything to get him off now. Anything!

What had happened to twist the lowlander into what he was? Time and experience, that was all it took. The last time the rats had seen each other was when Osias had been a mere lad, before the skin on his nose even broke open. He had been a child and a six, and now he stood before Saresh as an adult with a red ten emblazoned on his chest. A lot had changed, not just his mindset.
He was, however, surprised that the Highlander would raise a paw against him and he tucked his head, protecting his throat, and moved away, those claws raking across his muzzle and cutting grooves into it. The deepest of these mainly ran over the part of his nose that was already scarred. He stiffened a bit at that and rattled his tail again the ground a bit in warning. His mind coming down to earth a bit more because that had certainly hurt, it had felt just as real as when he'd plucked that bit of fur from himself earlier. However sobering that the blow was, it only strengthened his convictions. He really could kill Saresh, couldn't he?
He took a moment to reassess things, and his ears twitched about as he did.. .homing in on Finistris' location as his eyes scanned the rat again, interesting. It seemed his father now had a blatant weakness, a blind spot.
He began to move again, but slowly, muscles tight. He crept toward the still seeing side, hoping to lure his opponent into some small form of security while keeping his own eyes upon him, should he make a move of his own. He quickened his movements suddenly, making a dive for the tail of the other rat... if he could get a hold of that with his teeth, he would be in close enough to follow through further.

Saresh reeled from the loss of his eye, though the sensation of his claws connecting with his son's face sent a shiver through him.
Had he wanted to do that?
He didn't know anymore...he had come to apologize to his son...but what would happen if he killed him? Would he be stuck here, return to the otherworld with him, ....or cease to exist? The Highlander's remaining eye flared slightly as the other side of the problem occurred to him.
And what if he kills me..?
"Osias... Osias, son, talk to me..."
He muttered, listening to his son's movements but unable to pinpoint them...until an ungodly pain shot through his tail, adding to the torment his body already had to suffer.
Yelling in anger and frustration, he whipped around aiming to sink his claws and teeth into whatever he could get ahold of.

He had done it, he had gotten his target and he held onto it with his teeth until the return came, a distinctive piercing type pain on his outer thigh, caused by the bite, accompanied by lesser pains in his side and further down his leg, from the claws. It would be the type of injury that would be a hindrance to the speed and fluidness of his movements, and he let out an odd, muffled sound of pain, one he tried very hard to hide for he was now very much aware of his audience, his important audience.
He had the other where he wanted him, and the pain that shot through him also gave him a boost of adrenaline. He reached out one hand, aiming to grab the other rat's ear firmly whilst the other sought out purchase on or near his spine, letting go of Saresh's tail. He also fully intended to sink his own ebon claws within the flesh of the other while giving a push with his free leg... if only he could knock the other off balance, he would have one more sentiment, one more explanation... and Saresh would have his last breath. He knew how he wanted to finish him, and the scenario played in the back of his mind.
[[ This makes for a very odd picture in my mind. VERY odd. ]]

((Gleeeeeeeeeeeee!))
Saresh flet his teeth and talons connect. Sinking them in as far as they could go, he set his jaw into a dead-lock. He wouldn't let go not unless forced beyond his measure. This was unnaceptable! His own son...
The Highlander felt an intense yank on his ear but tried to ignore it.
He needed to get Osias to listen, but he wouldn't...he wouldn't! He was his mother's son, not his at all!
His mind desperately tried to rationalize itself. He was the victim, he Saresh. His boy was only in his way, just as he had always been! Yes, yes! He opened his mouth to tell him...when Osias pushed away from him...ebony talons still locked in the root of his ear.
The sound was akin to that of wet paper being pulled slowly in half, as Osias heaved backward...taking the skin from his father's skull with him.
Saresh could no longer move, the shock was too great. His face had been torn away, he was swallowing blood...so much blood. He gurgled pathetically and slumped forward, the gaping hole in his face that had once been his nose bubbled horribly with blood.
