So, This is told from Cassiel's point of view. I don't know if it counts, but Kazifel is involved. This is what happens after Daddy dearest is killed. Cassiel took it rather hard. And if you wonder who Aunt Josephine is you can see her here:www.projectnos.net/muse/pictures/auntjoe.jpg. Hope you like it <3

The water washed over her hands. The blood was gone. It had been gone for a long while now. Kazifel always tried to make her feel better, but it didn't work. She had done it. She had killed him. Cassiel growled as she turned off the faucet.
At least the blood was out of her fur forever now. She coughed to cover up her discontented whimper. She still wasn't an adult. She still had no idea what she was going to do with the rest of her life. She was just happy that dirty old man was dead. He deserved it after all. For what he did to Maribell and her. Death was the only suitable punishment. He even tortured Kazifel. She growled.
There was a knock on the door that startled her. Her ears perked when she heard the voice of her brother on the other side of the door. "Are you okay Cassi?" he said in his meek voice. He had been gifted with a human form, but he had the powers of a twig. He wasn't even healthy half the time anymore.
"Meh. Fine as I'll ever be," she growled as she opened up the door to look at her brother's surprised face. He was smaller than her, oddly enough, and so much more frail. She wasn't surprised when he decided he wanted to be a doll maker despite both of their parent's wishes. She really couldn't protest, she had always loved it when he was happy.
Though now it was just irritating. Just like his look of surprise. She growled. He winced. It was his usual reaction when anyone growled at him. "What? What the hell do you want Kazifel?" she asked leaning on the door frame.
"I-I wanted to know if you wanted some dinner. You haven't eaten all day," He looked down at the ground as he spoke. A whimper was faintly heard as he tried to hide it.
Cassiel rolled her eyes. When would he learn to be a man? They were sixteen. "What are you making?"
"Steak," he murmured still looking at his feet.
"What? What's wrong damnit?" Cassiel raised her voice as she moved closer to Kazifel.
The boy winced at her words and brought up his arms to shield his head automatically. He quickly corrected himself once he realized it was his sister yelling at him. "You've changed Cassi," he said looking up at her, tears welling up in his eyes.
"No I haven't!"
"Yes. You have," Kazifel whimpered as tears spilled down his face. He looked so very miserable.
"What makes you say that?" She ignored his tears. They weren't going to fix anything were they?
"Cassi!" Kazifel suddenly threw his arms around his sister. She winced at his touch but he refused to remove himself from her person. He whimpered a bit. "Everything's wrong. You should be happy now that he's gone! You should be able to do what you want to do!"
She growled and suddenly pushed him away. He hit the wall with a resounding crash and a horrible cry. He fell to the floor in a crumpled heap, shivering as he looked up at his sister.
"I'm fine! I am doing what I want! Everything normal damnit!" She slammed the door in frustration. For emphasis she kicked it.
And she heard her brother's cries the whole time. She winced at the sound like he winced at her voice. She yelled through the door, "If you're so damn unhappy just live with Josephine! The bitch would be more than willing to take Highlander blood!"
He fell silent.
Cassiel closed her eyes as she leaned on the door. She hadn't meant it, honestly. Words came out of her mouth sometimes. She always regretted it afterwards. "Kazifel! I'm sorry!" She said through the door.
He was still silent.
She opened the door a crack. He was still curled up against the wall. She grumbled. "Fine, stay there!"
He watched her shut the door through his hands. The boy didn’t say a word. He knew his sister wouldn’t apologize. He carefully got up, tears spilling down his face, and walked away. Let her have it her way.
