lost my muse for the thread, sorry guys! A snickering sound bounced down the hallways of the Palace in the Court of Hearts. Followed quickly by a low whispered voice, positively dripping with sneer. heheh "Oh Khizr that's perfect." The deer/cat cross lifted his head quickly to glance around the hallways, good, no one was coming. Khizr's voice now, slimier than the last spoke in a hissing tone. "Told you brother. This is going to be good." They both snickered again and looked around before hunching back over their project. "Where'd you find this thing anyways Raj?" He got a quick cuff over the head from his feline-esque brother. "Rajekhri you twerp. I'm the King here remember?" The deer, mane slicked back between his large cervid ears just rolled his eyes. "I found it in /his/ daughters' room. Isn't it just perfect?"Khizr's bright emerald regarded his brother's with a quick nod of his head. "Oh yes." His voice slithered. Odd sounding for a deer, so very snakelike. "So very perfect. There, all done."The two brothers stood back and laughed before looking around quickly to make sure no one had seen them before scampering off down the hallway to watch as people found their creation. The small plush that looked very much like Gaston sat pinned to the wall with words smeared above and below. "I'm a great bloody bafoon. And I smell like a loon.
I'm as dumb as an ox, and my head's full of rocks. HARHAR"

White paws padded along the corridor, big gray-red eyes watching everything with fascination. While Innokentyi had been in the Court of Hearts before, it was usually when he was accompanying his Daddy, and Katya was usually with him. She'd been with him before, actually, but he'd wandered off because something had looked so very pretty, and when he'd turned around she'd been gone. Where had she gone? She was supposed to be with him all the time! The Tulgey dismissed the thought as he continued wandering - he'd find her soon enough, or she'd find him, and everything would work out just fine. And maybe he could find someone to play with while he was waiting for her! Daddy hadn't set up any other play dates for him recently, and he was lonely, even though Katya was really good company some times. But she was really protective, and didn't always let him play with people when he wanted to. Well, he'd just have fun without her, then! With that in mind, he determinedly looked around himself, silver mane swishing about, before he came to a complete standstill. There, pinned to a wall, was a plush toy! It looked like some sort of deer-cat? Or something. Like a Highlander, he thought, but not quite? "Why would anyone leave a toy out like this?" he wondered out loud, trotting closer and peering at it brightly. Then the words caught his attention, and he puzzled his way through them slowly, head tilting to the side as he stared in confusion. It...didn't make sense. "How can a head be full of rocks? Wouldn't that hurt?"[/b]

Naylia trotted up behind her two charming brothers, almost purring with delight when she saw them whispering. This usually meant mischief! She loved to watch mischief! Never did it herself though, she didn't like to sully her hands and be caught red-handed later. More, she liked to... sweetly influence others with a little 'oh, wouldn't this be funny?' or something similar. Her bothers seemed to have no fear however, and so without any coaxing needed from her, were always up to all kinds of pranks and... not so polite jokes. But those were the best ones. They could get away with anything. Because papa yelled at people who were mean to them. She grinned and hunkered down, whispering behind the pair, "Rajekhri, Khizr. What are you up to today dear brothers? I don't suppose that's your doing..."She could barely contain the laugher that threatened to bubble out through her lips. She'd never liked that Gaston's offspring. So whiny and... soft. The crying aggrivated her. Of course, she'd never tell this to papa, because he seemed to like the Queen an awful lot, and... he was big and scary. Naylia wasn't a fan of angering anything larger than herself. But when she did, she had a good chance at charming her way out of it. Not only were her family blessed with good looks, but it was terribly difficult to stay mad at them. Rajekhri especially. She fluffed her wings as she perched behind them comfortably, tilting her head in curiosity to see what this newcomer would think. Didn't he get it? Well that was silly. What was he doing here anyway? The Queen didn't employ buffoons, and papa never let his playtoys out... "Who's that?" She hissed, obviously upset that he hadn't gotten the joke, and that someone with such a lacking sense of humour was in their palace.

The boys sat around the corner and watched as the white cat padded up to the toy curiously. A small slithering chuckle escaped from Rajekhri before Khizr could silence him with a Look. Before they knew it their 'sister' snuck up behind them perching her annoying fluffy butt at their heels.
"Piss off Nay" Raj snapped quietly at her. "This is our game, you don't get to jump in halfway and have fun. Unless of course you want us to sick Gaston on you. Lord knows he taps anything that moves. Though you may like that." He shot a hard look over his shoulder at the winged doe.
Khizr looked surreptitiously back at her and sneered before turning back to watching the other regarding their prank with a confused look. Ohhh excellent, what if he got blamed for it if the wrong person walked by right now? That would be just lovely. "Go back to mommy." He said in a low voice without even looking at his sister.
She always tried to crash in on their fun, and they were both sick of it.

She grinned and fought off a small laugh when her brother spoke at her. He so hated it when she came in last minute, but she couldn't help it, if they had of told her it was happening beforehand, she might have done it herself. Well, no, probably not, but still. "Awww didn't papa ever teach you to share?." The petite feline purred, her tail flicking back and forth in amusement. Their hasty words didn't bother her, she'd spent enough time around her brothers to understand this behaviour, she shared a part of it in that words just never seemed to bother her, she didn't care what anyone else thought, because she didn't really care about anyone else's opinion. Hers was what Really mattered, obviously.
Besides, they usually came around eventually. All she had to do was... poke and prod a little. "Silly Khizr, everyone knows you're much more like her... deer boy." He was her favourite, too, though Naylia couldn't place why for the life of her. Oh well, not her concern nor her problem to deal with. One less distraction to get in her way when she was... playing around. She thought about Raj's comment idly, when she grew, she would have to try and manipulate Gaston! If he only thought with his little head (giggle) it would be all too easy. Boys were terribly easy that way.
So young and already she knew certain... tactics to getting what she wanted. Though she acted very ladylike, and never took her games too far, she knew when she was older, she could perhaps take it a little farther. Or not. It was really pointless in her opinion, a waste of time. There was much better to do with one's body than... yich. She sat in place, observing what was to come next, she had no intentions of spoiling their fun, she never had tried to, because she enjoyed watching. Now why would she go and spoil her own fun? She liked seeing what they cooked up now and then, sometimes it was actually Almost better than what she could come up with. Okay, so Khizr had outdone her a few times, but she wouldn't tell him That.

Inno didn't have the world's best Spot or Listen check, and so failed both of them, leaving him utterly oblivious to the trio of children who were watching him, waiting for him to do something. All he knew was that, for some odd reason, someone had pinned a toy to the wall in the middle of nowhere, and wrote bad poetry that really didn't make sense at all. Because if it was a deer - he thought it was a deer? - then how could it smell like a loon? Unless, maybe, its mate was a loon? And the fact that someone had apparently put rocks into their head, or had them put there, made even less sense, to the point where his head was hurting and he knew that he should stop thinking about stuff like that. Katya was a lot better at thinking than he was, and normally he left things like that to her, but she wasn't around.
Well, there was something that he could do - he could take care of the plushie! Because no self-respecting plushie would just be stuck to the wall, where it could be stained or dirtied or damaged. No, it should be in a room somewhere, with others of its kind, loved and cuddled.
Carefully, he raised his paws to the toy and began prying at it, attempting to remove it from the wall. He didn't want to use his claws, as that could accidently damage the toy, and he didn't want to return a damaged plushie to its owner!
